Their stated mission is to "inspire youth...." The Science Center certainly seems to be set up to do just that. There are lots of kid-friendly activities of every sort. If you have some active kids junior high age or younger, you could easily spend 2-3 hours here, and your kids would have a lot of fun. For adults, however, there is less to do or see. Despite the fact that this is officially a NASA welcome center, most of the activities of the center focuses on earth science, like floods and hurricanes and carnivorous plants. The wave machine was cool, but I don't know how that fits with space flight, and that connection was never made clear. My wife and I spent about an hour here and we were able to do everything we cared to do in that time. I'm glad we visited, but I don't feel any draw to come back.
