Incredible place unlike anywhere I've known.. a cozy atmosphere of creative corners and people willing and wanting to work with you. Amazing selection of typewriters and the world's largest collection of zines. One of my favorite places in Portland.

First of all, I have never been in a JoAnns before...I wish I had an entire day to spend perusing the plethora of EVERYTHING!!
AND the service was amazing. I had asked a particular item was. When the associate took me to the location, she said, "you know, so so knows all about this if you've got a minute," I agreed and was theandn briefly given a tutorial about the product , and taken to another part of the store where he introduced me to another product by another vendor that was superior than I he original and cost less.

IPRC is an incredible cornerstone of the design, creative and maker community. I thank my lucky stars each morning that this place exists and that they are such a supportive and safe space for enriching the arts and artists in our Portland Community. I regularly attend the PDXCC meetings here each month and the space is always so well maintained, cleaned and the staff are so accommodating and helpful! The studio itself has a wide variety of stations and equipment you can use to build whatever creative endeavor is in your brain and beyond that there is such a co-op, helpful, communal feeling when you're there. I just love it! The IPRC also has a variety of different classes and sessions that you can take and I have eye on a few for the new year.
