Is there anything better than enjoying a plate of Swedish meatballs and looking at furniture for hours? No, there is not!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!! CROOKS! Crooks!!!
I have now placed two orders with Ikea (first online and then in store in Costa Mesa, CA) and have had the same result TWICE!!! The items we needed delivered (sofa, bed, mattress, chairs, etc) NEVER got delivered. Both times we were told they couldn't locate the items. Ikea claimed the delivery company picked them up. The delivery company claimed Ikea couldn't find the items. Both times they said they wouldn't process the refund until the items were "located and returned". So, it's apparently my fault that they both can't find my items. This order is for over $1700 and I have to go out and repurchase items from another store without having received the Ikea refund!!!! This is unconscionable!!!!

Well organized, attentive employees, consistent products and reasonable pricing.

This place makes me happy. I can never leave without buying something and I love the decor inspiration. The only thing I'd have them change is the soda options in the cafe, they aren't that great. So, this might sound weird but I kinda feel like Ikea would be an awesome place for a date. You've got somewhere to eat and then miles of stuff to look at while you walk off the meal. Then end it with some ice cream!

Ordered a counter top online for delivery. Tried to cancel next day- 1 hour hold times, you cannot cancel online. Their customer service rep said they would try to cancel, but order shipped 3 days later anyway. Their online customer service is the worst I have EVER dealt with, and they are impossible to deal with. Beware if you order online.

Always good deals and great inexpensive meals as well.

DATE NIGHT! We literally go for dinner and end up shopping. Love this IKEA in particular, clean and fun. The dinner selection is so nice also, friendly staff and plenty of selections, especially for dessert. Yum!

Had lunch--Swedish meatballs--then roamed the store for a couple hours. Found some great buys and left vowing to return. If you have questions, a helpful employee is never more than a few steps away.

The thing I don't like about the place is you can't find any one to help you find your item or picking up the item. ,you see lots of employees there but they are not very helpful nor some are so RUDE.

I love going to Ikea, there products are good and priced at reasonable prices. It's fun and you can find anything or everything at Ikea. They have by far the best in store music jams. Last time I was there I couldn't stop dancing from all the good music that kept playing

Why display a piece of merchandise if your no longer carrying it. Simply take it down so one does not have to stand in the line to order or inquirr about furniture especially when ljne is 20+ people deep.

The only IKEA in Orange County, its huge but very nicely laid out. Tons of great products that won't burn your pocket. Furnitures are a weak point, but still worth every penny.

Having lived in Sweden, I love this place for the Swedish groceries and food.

Good store, but there are a lot of times they are out of stock of different items. That being said the employees are helpful, the store is clean, the cafeteria is good.

I don't love most the furniture, I think it's cheaply made. The meatballs however 4 STARS!

My Brother and I spent a great deal of the day shopping. We looked we comparied, made decisions, and filled several baskets. When we finally made it to pick up the large items my phone was out of battery life! So we asked for assistance low and behold Cindi came to the rescue. She loaded items even engaged two IKEA gentlemen Angel and Brandon to find out where some of the missing stock was. Check status, print out pick up papers for the largest items.All three IKEA folks helped us and made our day successful. But a special thanks to my brother you are incredible!

This location is busy all the time, avoid rush hour.

Wow..this is awesome place. You can get an idea about model for home each room and kitchen own structure.Easy to buy with all kind level of rate.

They have tons of stuff and it all looks great for a cheap price but you get what you pay for. If buying small nicnaks like candles etc, it's great; if buying sheets of furniture I would go elsewhere. ?

I am an Ikea for modern look, creative ideas and great prices. Discovered them first time in the early 80s in France, Paris suburb (Evry), with the then-revolutionary concept. Have been a loyal client since then even though I am no longer the young student :-)

One of the greatest furniture stores. Mostly inexpensive. Cafeteria is great with good quality food at affordable prices. We walk through the store atleast once a month to see what new projects we can do at our home

Gigantic store where you see all stuff with your own eyes, thouch em with your hands. No online bluff! Plus, prices and quality combo is cool.

My wife and I had a really awful customer service experience. It was not resolved by customer service manager Shelly nor Vanessa the security manager. We have spent hours trying to speak with the store manager Lori Helm directly. Vanessa informed my wife there is no store manager and customer service manager said she left voicemail on our machine. Both are not true.
Why is it so hard to speak with the Store Manager?

Oh yeah, I joined The Family all right. Heck yeah! But it turns out to be not that cool.

Two points:
1. I joined The Family around 2 months ago and in that time I have received FIVE Ikea catalogs!
Five. Five of the SAME catalog. Save some trees, Ikea! Stop sending me the same catalog again and again. It's just irresponsible.

2. I get free coffee! Yay! But I still have to stand in that long line to get it. = |

Parking was good and store was clean. Their inventory was not up to date and finding help was difficult, there weren t very many staff members. At least they have a good return policy

Ikea has always been first choice for furniture. This place is great too..

All employees there look confused. Royally messed up a large order of 30 tables that was pre ordered

Excellent place incredible prices and the great variety of ideas that they have for each product is amazing is one of my favorite places to go shopping for home.

Hadn't been to Ikea for a couple years But I walked the entire store with a friend this trip. Ikea is kind of like Main Street at Disneyland. If you went tomorrow it would look like it hadn't changed since the first time you saw it. Its only when you take a closer look you'll notice lots of subtle changes. The flow of the place seemed more streamlined and it seemed like there were a lot more major kitchen appliances. The restaurant upstairs looked remodeled too. I didn't notice the shopping lists or containers of golf pencils they used to have. I liked the full apartment displays all less than 400 square feet. They would seem tiny outside but had all of the furniture and storage you would need but still seemed roomy and uncrowded. Ikea works in lots of ways and while it might not be for everybody I've always seen several things there that I would like to have. The prices on couches and some other items seemed a lot higher than I remembered but that's not an Ikea thing I see that everywhere. I like all of the little things they have from dishes to utensils, lamps to weird things that I can't identify and that reminds me of a couple of things I'd like to see changed. A lot of the smaller items didn't have price tags on the bins or the items themselves and those that did have price tags or labels had the Sweedish sounding name but not in English. Maybe trying to figure out what some of these things are is part of the fun but if that cool piece of twisted metal named "Skaard" or "Umloops" or whatever also said "Left handed upside down egg scrambler" I might be more interested in their weird little things if I knew what they were.

Hit and miss with customer service, good products for the price.

A normal large crowded busy IKEA with a mix of both helpful and harried employees. IKEA offers a wide selection of home furniture and home goods. Furniture can often be improved with do-it-yourself hacks, many of which can be found online.

Great service and amazing prices!!!!! A table and 4 chairs for 80.

IKEA is great but the Costa Mesa store was far too crowded for comfort. Everyone wore masks but the sheer numbers of shoppers so close to each other was way out of line with shops in other nearby counties.

Love all products staff freindly...can get over whelming with the weekends....super crowed

I'm someone who often avoids going to the big stores to get furniture. I prefer buying local but I was in need of a table for my new place. I love the click and connect feature of ikea! Not only does that section of the store open up an hour earlier before the rest of the store, but I was also able to place my order and pick up the same day. The check out was quick and painless! Great option for fast furniture needs!

Good selection of furniture at reasonable prices. We found actual wood dressers for just $169

It was an overall good experience. Could have offered to assist me carry my desk to my car because it was moderately heavy.

I LOVE IKEA!! We have lived all over the world and have always bought IKEA furniture, etc... So, walking around IKEA is like taking a trip home!! Can't beat it!

Go in for breakfast, its so cheap. Walk aroun and hokkd hands with a loved one. Endless displays fun pkkace to window shop. Ice cream and hotdogs on the bottom floor! And vegetarian meatballs, they are super, try them.

I love ikea the stuff there is great. Easy to build if you follow directions.

It's a place I would go to whenever I would need ideas for remodeling and decorating my home, as well as buying new items to go with it(furniture)

The meatballs were fabulous and it is soul food for me.

Bad...we waited in line for approximately 1/2 hr to check out. The cashier became very confused with a customer, and this brought everything to a halt...the other lines were not any better. Finally after all lines became un-bareable they open another line, but that did not help. Upon checking out, the cashier didn't even say Thank You...Never again!!!

Besides being a Swedish mouse trap, the prices are pretty good and the meatballs are a great choice.

No respect for customers. 1 and half hour to return. Not all couters working

Love eating and shopping here. Veggie "meat"balls are really good.

Store is full of great displays, it's fun to wander around and check out the different styles.
