Ikea is such a great place to go even if you do t need to buy anything. Sometimes we will just go for swedish meatballs a nap on a couch and people watching. Great date night if your trying to think outside of the box.

It is good place for light meal. The prices are cheap but, the foods are pretty good. You can choose your own pick or their menu. Drinks, coffees and desserts are available. Every shopper can enjoy the foods here while they are shopping. Snacks are also available on the first floor.

I really love all their merchandise but there was way too many people and they were really rude. I went with my sister-in-law and my two month old baby. The customers were behind me way to close and I couldn't enjoy walking around because I felt pressured to hurry up. Idk if I want to go back. Maybe I'll shop online

A large IKEA that is almost always filled with people, but spacious enough for those who dislike large crowds. The cafeteria seems to always be churning out food, although I haven't tried it. I've been happy with the quality of products I've bought from this location! They've lasted a couple years so far. It's also my go to place to get ideas for organizational solutions!

It's a HUGE Ikea but it's mostly self-service. There's no one around to help you with anything, including moving anything heavy or to help you look for what you want. It's basically a giant show room. Things used to be better and cheaper, now it's just a bunch of overpriced crap.

Don't fall into thinking ikea is only for dorm rooms! There are so many well designed items and you would never guess all the things you can get for a fraction of what they cost even online. Picture frames, Tupperware, cooking utensils, kitchen counter tops, bedding, even plants (live and artificial)

As always, the employees were very friendly and helpful. I've recently injured my back to where I can't lift very much anymore and they didn't hesitate to help get the items we need onto our flat cart. We also ate lunch there for the first time and we all thought the food was amazing, especially my kids.

Great value and selection. However, Returns are another matter. Long lines after two attempts to return one item. First time, the wiat estimate was 15 minutes. After 10 minutes, no new customer had been helped. Only three on duty at the counter. Second time, late on a holiday weekend, the store was very crowded. The line did move faster, with more help at the counter and more that 2 dozen ahead in line.

The employees were very helpful. Unfortunately there were so many people with questions. I don't know how they have such patience. I gave a bad rating because I had to walk all over the building to get just a few products and ended up feeling claustrophobic and anxious.

I want to start by saying this is the worse store I have been to in many years customer service related. I came to drop off some furniture that was recalled because it had killed 3 children because it wasn t stable and fell on them causing a panic at my home because we have 9 month old who is crawling and learning to walk. We contacted corporate and they advised us we could either have someone pick it and they would mail us a check or we could go to our local IKEA and they would provide us a refund there. Well come to find out that apparently is not the case however; that wasn t really the problem it was disappointing but OK still not hating IKEA at this point or their awful employees. I get called after waiting for about 20 minutes again still not hating IKEA and when I approach the register I encounter the WORSE customer service I have ever received from a sloppy, rude and disrespectful young girl. When I advised her why I was there she looked at me as if I was wasting her time and she proceeds to tell me we can give you store credit or we will mail you a check now at this point I am trying to explain what corporate had informed us and she continue to look at me with a straight face repeating we can give you store credit or we can send you a check. I am really staring to hate IKEA at this point so, I request to speak to a manager and again looks at me with a straight face and says my manager is just going to tell you the same thing ( Are you kidding me ). After 5 minutes or so, a lead comes to assist however; claims to be the manager with a terrible attitude now I am starting to see how leadership is failing so of course the employees are as well zero customer service skills and no interpersonal relationship skills whatsoever, I guess you get what you pay for and now I really hate IKEA. As I am trying to explain to the lead the issue and the poor behavior and service I have received the employee is talking g over me and trying to give her side of the story WOW ikea needs to invest in some leadership classes for their staff. My wife proceeds to tell the cashier that she is being rude and needs to walk away mind you at no point has this member of management taken control of the situation or her employee instead I now have 2 employees arguing with me and the cashier tells my wife this is my register you walk away and now the lead and the cashier are going back and forth as she is being insubordinate and refusing to leave after instructed to do so till the lead gets harsher. I now HATE IKEA more than any other store yes I m that serious as the lead who introduced herself as a manager walks away from and says thanks for the great experience!!! I asked for an actual manager and they send a kind more service customer service oriented Manager on duty whatever that means. We explained the the whole experience and unfortunately she can t do anything either but give us the store manger information, IKEA you have failed you are the worse store in my opinion and I strongly recommend people never to go there I have been shopping at IKEA for over 20 years but I will never go back and rather go pay extra and I suggest you do the same. Bottom line I Hate IKEA I am an operations manager for a very large company and I would never have allowed any of my employees to ever talk to a customer that way I would immediately suspend them and then terminate them. Leadership is who I blame here this is an example of a poor company culture.

This IKEA store is great. It really feels like a slice of a different world. The signage is all unique and helpful, the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I've seen. They'll even start up a casual conversation with you. The food served here tastes wonderful. The prices for everything is very fair, especially considering how high quality everything is. I'm definitely coming back here.

This Ikea is super clean and always organized. There is a daycare at the entrance, as well as wheelchair and stroller accessibility to both floors. The lines to checkout get busy very occasionally. The parking here is plentiful even during peak hours. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

If you're under 30 you're good to go here. If over 30 be prepared to walk your legs off, and then, when you get the darn thing home pull your hair out trying to put it together.
Pay another few bucks and a, skip the long walk and putting it together. Have it delivered to your home in one piece.

The exist door should be open all the time. I spend at lest 1 hour to get out of the place I was desperate to get out I seemed like I couldn't. Please what you guys are doing forcing the people to walk all over the place is horrible. I will never come back .

went here for a wall mounted table that turns into a shelf. went home and tried to assemble it realizing there were no screws in the package or hinges. my pregnant wife went back since I was at work and she got the screws and hinges. I go to install it when I get home and it turns out there are more products that are missing. not just assembly tools, but main components of the package.

at this point I am furious as a couple weeks before I had emailed Ikea letting them know that parts were missing. No answer from them yet. I go back to Ikea and all they do is open up a box and give me the pieces that were missing. They say this doesn't happen very often. But when it does happen, shouldn't you treat your customer with a coupon or discount or some type of compensation for having to drive back to costa mesa twice more times (50 mile round trip, so 150 miles total) to install a $30 product?

ended up installing the product. I then receive the package that contained the assembly parts one month after the initial email. Guess what? The package had been stamped "package received opened" and "contents missing". So the package that was delivered didn't have anything in it. I email them asking what is this BS? They say that they will ask Sweden to send more screws to me and it should take only a couple weeks. So they expect someone to wait around for a month and a half to install a $30 product.

Bottom line, I will not be going to Ikea again.

It's a maze of wonder. Went in for a kalax reached my 100,000 step goal. Celebrated 3 birthdays and fell in and out of love before I found the exit. Then I get in line and suddenly realize how in the f do this many people need furniture the same time I need something.

No willingness to help a disabled person! I had to backtrack all my way back upstairs to go get an item I had researched prior to arriving to minimize my distances to walk. The website didn't list the location, but stated to ask a team member. When I asked, they were not helpful, besides showing me a map. I walked 20 minutes!

I tended to purchase a 6 shelves dresser. I asked about the isle and bin of the dresser from two representatives. They printed out number of bin and isle.
I took it home paid for assembly through the task rabit app that ikea directed me through.
I found out it's only 3 shelves dresser after assembly.
I had to disassemble the dresser and take it back to ikea. And they refused to pay for the penalty of my assembly.

Customer Service - Swedish Style (Horrendous)

Looked up a product online and it was available at the store. during my lunch break drove all the way to the store to pick it up.

looked into the information kiosk and it stated it was available at XYZ aisle on xyz bin. when in circles was unable to spot the product.

asked for help, the sales rep looked it up with the "article no." and said its available at the same location i was going in circles. then he was on a call for few mins and came back and said they dot't have it but i can order through a sale associate and asked me to wait for a rep.

no rep came along, so i called IKEA customer service, after explaining the situation the rep took my ph. no and said they were sorry and they will get back to me....no one called till now!!

just a wast of time and energy!!

Giving 1 star since i'm unable to give zero or half star!!

IKEA is a great place to go for families as they have a day care center for the little ones so you can shop unencumbered. Tuesdays children eat for free with purchase of an adult meal. The store is always kept clean an tidy.

It's IKEA! What's not to love?!? The cafe, selection of inexpensive furniture, and the ice cream! Additionally this location is sooooooooooo much better that mess in Burbank, where you have to wait in line to load your car. This IKEA has a huge parking lot with plenty of loading basis.
