A large IKEA with a variety of items. They have a decent selection in their restaurant area as well as their store.
Very busy on weekends, but always a fun shopping experience.
It's alright. If you want cheap furniture for your dorm room, this place is for you. Otherwise, don't buy it. It's low quality. Their cookies are great though
Kids area is cool and free for an hour while you shop
I have read a few comments all over the internet that IKEA is in fact better than Disneyland. I agree with this. The average couple's trip to Disneyland is between $2,800 and $4,900 to stay a week in Anaheim and go to Disneyland. Instead of wasting money on something that lasts you a week, you should pick up furniture that will last you far longer. Selection is superb, staff is perfect, and the wonder of being handy in a place that encourages it is great. Some furniture will be sturdier with "dad mods" like extra screws for added support, but the furniture here is still plenty sturdy. They even took great precautions during Corona Virus in order to help their overall customer safety. There's fancier furniture in the world that costs much more, but I can't see the point when you can get a table for $10 and meatballs while you shop.
THANK YOU Ikea team members, DJ, Art and Johnathan for the help on return, exchange and installation.
Bigger than the Carson IKEA, since they have bigger footprint and warehouse.
Warehouse type store full of everything for your home . Pretty cool place to go check out
Fewer Swedish meatballs,no Lingon berries with crackers, no mashed potatoes, only seven meatballs, etc. Not what it used to be! Swedish Ikea meatballs used to give me 'HYGGE!"
I buy a lot this place and they have everything. I love how they have rooms set up. Beware: It's a maze and there is no such thing as a quick visit but it's an adventure I enjoy. One ding is on my recent visit they didn't have barely any bars and that is what I was looking to purchase.
It s horrible system. I waited in line in the cold day for an exchange for 1 hour and half.
Although IKEA has been on Forbes 100 best companies to work for they may have stepped down from this meaning much to them. You can go anytime and all the resisters which are at least 50 people in each line to purchase and there are only 4 cashiers out of the 20+ registers they have. Returns, exchanges? Get comfy, pick a number literally and wait as long as possible, they're busy really busy!!! The children's play area is great if only you could book a time for you kid to go in in advance otherwise you can expect to get your kid in the next day. It's that busy from opening to closing these guys don't stop. I know I used to work there but if you don't need help it's fine, if you need floor service gooooood luck!!
You will find everything for your home, many options and quality as well. There are some small decorated flats too.
You will find everything to your house here, many options and quality too. Including a litle flat decorated ...
I was feeling very unsafe.
Too crowded.
The check out line It was like Disneyland line to get into the rides.
Very disappointed.
Good, nice, caring, feeling people - just save the heartache and don't shop here. Definitely don't get the delivery service, because you are paying to play in Ikea's monopoly triangle, and you are paying to lose.
Expect to be here for forever and enjoying it. Their organizational stuff is my favorite.
It's crazy.
I feel like I can go sightseeing.
We have cheap food at the middle of the store.
NEVER use the countertop personal that IKEA contracts with!
1) RUDE
2) NO COORDINATION
3) NO WARRANTY/ they do not stand by their work, drawer scratches countertop every time it opens
4) FAKE QUARTZ/ it scratches easily, it s porous and stains easily, chipped from a spoon dropped on it... A SPOON!
A rude man called me and said I showed up on his list for a countertop. I told him the scheduled cabinet install date. He said he didn t care, they re never on time and never finish on time . He told me to call him once they were done. I called the day they finished and asked how soon the countertops would be completed, how the timeline worked. He yelled at me and said everyone wants it right away, he ll get to it when he gets to it.
About four weeks later he called and said he d be at my house tomorrow to install. I told him I had to work. He said I I didn t find a way to let him in my house he may not be able to come back for months. I agreed to 2pm. The next day he called me 9 times while I was at work. I was able to return his call around 12-noon and he said he needed to get into my property now. He was yelling and rude. I told him I d be home at 2pm, but he said that wasn t good enough. I told him how to get in my property. He was gone before I got home.
I tried calling him several times without response.
IKEA in Costa Mesa is a very busy place serving many IKEA customers, including residents from Irvine like my family. Yet, it is clean, staff are friendly, and fun to visit.
I am a huge fan of IKEA and this particular location is especially great. The parking is excellent, which is often an Ikea weakness. Huge loading section with great traffic control.
The cafeteria is large, open, and has lots of seating. The layout of the store is very efficient, too. With all the shortcuts, it is easy to get in and out if you want to do a quick run.
Lots of stuff to look at and get for the home. Went to the cafe and ate veggie meatballs with wild brown rice and vegetables. Good enough to go back again.
@mrsprickels IG love her trip to ikea! There is always so many great things and options. I love how its set up to give you ideas. Solutions for storage and oeginization are nice. Love the plants and decor. Fun place to spend some time!! There is a kids care center where your kid can play why you shop for free. There is a snack bar and a seperate place to get food upstairs. Id post a video if you like..let me know what you want to see!
Love this place, anything I need I can probably find here!
It is incredible! Everything you need for your household is here with reasonable prices and good quality. A great cafeteria serves the best meals at a bargain price.
Did some work on their data lines. Not too organized for such a large place.
The prices & designs are great, but we will never trust the food inside the restaurant. We had the stuffed chicken & the meatball meal and got sick afterwards. The beverage area was disgusting and it looked like it hasn't been wiped down the whole day.
Every six months gotta make a trip to Ikea.
Who doesn t love the Glimma tea lights??
Always something new they actually upgraded the quality of their furniture from a decade ago but for leather upholstery I would not shop here.
It has all of your home shopping needs. the food reminds me of school kitchen food. The furniture is decent, sturdy.
Customer service was horrible and the employees were rude !!! I been to IKEA before and never been treated so poorly... I am a regular customer .. Very disappointed
I love IKEA I mean who doesn't. When I was there yesterday there was an alarm. The worker who was near us when the alarm went off, had no clue what the code was for they didn't know what to do it had many people worried. It should be required that all workers should know the codes and what to do for each code!
Only accompanied a friend to pick up an order.... that was not fun for my shopping urge!!!!
I try to only shop with companies that stand behind their product, and I found out Ikea has a 12-month return policy on all of their products. They just earned a little more business from me.
Its ikea, huge, tons of cheapish stuff, some of it weirdo euro style. Short couches, great kitchen stuff, food court is good and super cheap. I enjoy just walking around in here fo3 exercise its so vast.
Excellent cafe and bistro for quick food. Also like the kitchen products. See pic of recently built kitchen using IKEA cabinets.
Very nice store...lots of selection!
The staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. Maybe they need to hire some more?
MALM recall makes customer service area too crowded.
Came here looking for a decent office chair. Didn't purchase one in the end. Every single chair that they had squeals and screeches when you sit in them. So annoying and so sad to see that in a chair that goes for over 100 bucks. Isn't cheap but feels cheap type of deal. Thumbs down. However I came across a good deal on a 3 dollar can opener.
You find everything you want for home, the restaurant's food is exquisite.
There are good quality, cheap furniture. Many different styles and things for your house. Kids never get bored because there is a daycare as well as stuffed animals and kids rooms. I rate it 8.5 out of 10.
Always a fun adventure and the food is inexpensive and delicious. I suggest going here for the food and then have a walk around the store.
Every well built light furniture is made in sweden and imported to the united states and in a comfortable clean enviroment for entire family to spend time nd shop .great earing area ang great icecream.
Like any other ikea, gigantic warehouse full of affordable furniture.
Affordable furniture and super inexpensive food at the embedded food court. Exiting this place with a $1 dollar ice cream... How awesome it is!
One of best places for diy furniture and also great food court
Customer service is horrible! The website takes you in circles and no one man's the phones no matter the time of day or day of week. Visit to the store is a waste of time, after going several times looking for a desk, it's either out of stock or back order. Don't waste your time
Bigger than other IKEAs I ve been to. More options.
Super nice area!! I usually go the one in Carson but I will definitely be coming to this one from now on! Love the selection and how everything is set up here! Especially the food court area as well! Very pleased with my visit here!
Great store with just about anything you need for your home. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because their shopping carts are the WORST! Why do all 4 wheels have to spin? It makes it so that you have to use your whole body just to get the cart to turn right or left. Then when you put one of their heavy boxes in it, you pretty much need 2 people to maneuver the cart. Why don't they make the 2 back wheels fixed just like every other shopping cart in the world?? Plus the stores zig zag road makes you have to turn the cart every 20 feet. Leaving the store makes me frustrated!
Much to look at and Little $$$, Money for solvencies
Always feel good at this location, buying is a nice experience and the food? Good, healthy
Love this store, they have everything for home decorations
We needed help finding an item that appeared to be out of stock. All the sales people were very helpful. One of them looked up three alternate locations for the item we wanted to buy. While none of the locations had what we needed (they would be restocked the following day), we still had a very pleasent shopping experience.
Perfect location, make sure you take Susan Street exit, going north 405 toward Harbor Blvd
Cheap and best value home furnishings place is right here
Affordable furniture and a display floor you can get lost in. High marks for the cheap food.
Bonus: you can drop off your fluorescent light bulbs and dead batteries to be recycled
Parking lot is kind of a pain on the weekend, otherwise it's another IKEA.
Great store but Loooooooong lines to pay, not enough cashiers
Is anyone actually able to successfully place a Click and Collect order from this location? I ve been trying for a week at all times of the day and night and it either says unavailable or that they ve reached order capacity for the day. If you were able to, do you have a trick to share with the rest of us?
