Great selection. Maybe it's just me, but things tend to be out of stock/ limited. Returns are also very slow.
It was nice, but getting out of the building was a task! Food was pretty good, especially the lingonberry sauce! OMG! Liked it overall, except the paint smell!
I like cheap goods but this place is not worth it. I checked the online inventory of an item and confirmed it was in stock at this location. Upon arriving it was almost impossible to find anyone to help. When I finally did, they were hesitant to assist in any way. They finally confirmed that they never had the item at this location to begin with and this happens often. I then proceeded to another IKEA north on the 405 where it said they had 20 of the item instock and the SAME thing happened. I tried their pizza because it had taken so long by this point that it was past lunch time and it tasted like cardboard. Then I tried to call to find the item again and after 20 minutes of waiting they said their computers were down and sent me back to the website that had mislead me twice already.
Will never return again.
The real question is what isn't to like about IKEA. It's the number one place to go shop for furniture and other supplies. The prices and quality are pretty inexpensive for the most part and the way the place is played out makes it so much more enjoyable to walk around. It doesn't feel cramped, it's an efficient layout for the place. Even there food court which is placed perfectly halfway through the place is efficient and the food is also really good.
Not too shabby. Love that all wheels on the shopping carts rotate.
IKEA is ikea, it follows the same cookie cutter method.
It's an Ikea so you get what you expect. Generally very busy and parking lot is full even though it is huge.
This is one of the least busy Ikea stores that I have been to
Great prices, great service, great design ideas! Love this place, HATE that it takes 15 minutes to leave!
There was NO way to Social Distance the way they set up 1 line only to get to cashiers.Nobody respects you or stays 6 feet away.Had to walk out of that situation!
Waited all day for a delivery and they never showed or called. When I tried to find a number to ask what happened ... there is NO contact info at all except for an automated system that said they are to busy to accept any
Other calls.
I love this place. Clean. Great prices on products if you don't mind self-assembly. The employees, if you need one, are sometimes difficult to find, but are very friendly and helpful once located. I have purchased many different pieces of furniture as well as kitchen utensils/dishes over many years and have never been disappointed.
Staff accuses you of stealing if you go to look at the food after the registers, despite the fact that the grocery register is rarely open, so you're either skipping the groceries entirely (my favorite part) or checking out twice.
Good stuff, cheap prices, good food, but it's always hard to get help when I have a question. Check-out was simple, though. I do wish they had smaller bags to purchase at check-out vs. the giant blue ones.
It's a great place to find a great deal. It would have been a 5 star but for as many handicap parking spaces they have they DO NOT HAVE handicap electric carts.
Very nicely organized and speedy checkout . Ikea is the place to buy any furniture .. You hey pretty much all the things at a very reasonable price.
Nice environment, excellent prices, good quality, plenty parking lot.
Love this place for breakfast. Super inexpensive and filling, but only have one hour to get there for the deal ends at 11pm.
Decent selection though I do feel the quality may have gotten worse. Nevertheless it is still the go to place for all home furnishing. Came here to get some cool kitchen appliance for cheap and got the job done!
Very large, unique ideas, reasonable prices, very busy
Horrible service, very rude staffs. Totally useless managers. Do yourself a favor and go to other locations and save yourself from wasting your time and energy!!
What is not to love about Ikea? Affordable, cute, functional stuff for your home and office.
this place is too big and too much I haven't been to Ikea in a long time still a really nice store but just too big for me to be in and it's everything you have to put together and it's so far to walk in there I'm good
Awesome place! They're so creative and have a lot of brilliant ideas
Swedish meatballs and furniture with names I cant pronounce or put together!!
Typical IKEA. You can never see it all. Fun place to shop, or just browse.
Cheap furniture, meatballs, other house stuff. Put on some walking shoes because you are going to walk at least a half mile to get around the place once.
I love Ikea and I can never spend less than an hour there, no matter how hard I try. They always have great pieces, and good furniture/ideas for small living spaces (which I definitely need). And the prices work with my budget. When I get bored of my current decor, I can always find a new way to dress up my furniture to look brand new and different. The meatballs are delicious and they have great prices on food. The only I hate is when I have to wait for them to get furniture for me. For big pieces (like a couch, wardrobe, some kitchen and bath shelves), you have to wait at will call for them to pull your order (after you pay) and that always takes some time, especially if there is already a group of people ahead of you. So you might as well grab a hot dog or some ice cream while you wait. Yum!
So the secret to any Ikea trip is simply this: stop by the food court first. so when deciding on what type of plates, to match the curtains, to match the new chair ( all of which it's going to take way too long to put together), and will probably cause an argument.... the argument will be at home...not in public because you will be satisfied with your ( I prefer the cherry flavored) icee. And believe it or not it also helps to calm down the sound of a pterodactyl screaming children when waiting on your unpronounceable sofa to be available. Hot dogs are okay, I stay away the pizza. Doesn't look like the swedes can do everything.... Yet.
Very nice and organize :) friendly employees and very helpful.
I have been there twice now for new bookcases. I like the selection. I found a couple of cases that work exactly as needed
I've been going here for years. The furniture has gotten to be higher quality over the years, and the prices are affordable. Most of my home and office have IKEA furniture.
The food is great and the furniture is modern, chic, exquisitely crafted. Damn these Germans really got it right!!! The meatballs make a party in my mouth when the juices explode. The ice cream is entertainment for my mouth. In conclusion, the white metal hangers are aesthetically pleasing.
Always fun to take a family trip to Ikea and enjoy dinner in their amazing restaurant
Reasonably priced furniture with good purchase/return system
I love all the design idea's for small spaces. However I was disappointed with the Swedish meatballs. They seemed to be smaller and I was still hungry after eating the plate.
Adventureland of Swedish fold flat furniture! I actually show up for the meatballs.
Gotta love IKEA. No pets allowed - which I appreciated. Love our new couch.
Good place to get ideas, see new trends, smart and not so expensive home goods
Ikea costa mesa is a great destination shop. I went there specifically for the swedish meatball lunch. As an ikea insider i enjoy free coffee as well.
Hate the way you gather the items. Signs are not very clear. $20 To have someone pull your merchandise is insane
Yuk. A globalist company that takes Manufacturing jobs from our country by selling the junk here. What a double slap in the face. Boycott this place.
I actually rather enjoy ikea, so this is more specific to this location. We went in looking for a tv unit and we found one we liked (adverised at 209) but we wanted something slightly different so they printed out what we supposedly needed More
I go during the weekdays only, the play area for the kids gives an extra 1/2 hour if you belong to the family rewards program and it is not crowded
I like a lot The Variety, they have from the cheapest of good Quality and good things also Faces but they have all the prices, but everything is of very Good Quality, I really like this shop 100% recommended
This location is the worst. I wouldn't give a one star but it forces me to. It should be no stars.
Where this location is, there are narrow minded racist people that shop here.
In addition to that, during the visit today my bf and I had the worst experience. During our transaction, the manager, Meck, decided to do a return. The cashier told the manager that she was in a middle of a transaction and the manager didn't give a damn! What the heck is that? Who does that? Due to the managers lack of tact, it made the situation worst. I told the manager that I did not appreciate that. The cashier mouthed sorry but the manager didn't say anything. The manager only said that the lady has been waiting, as if that is a reason. That maybe the case but you do not do that during another customer's transaction. Then the customer said to get it over it. She then looked at me America used to be great. The manager still didn't do anything.
On our way out, we saw a customer service area. Why wasn't the return done there? The situation would not have been this way if the manager would of opened a new register, waiting until our transaction was done or simply asked us prior to our transaction.
My bf is a veteran and this crap we experience from a corporation is unacceptable!
With this, I will not be shopping at this location, let alone this company again. They do not really care about the customers. I rather spend more money then to tolerate this bad customer service ever again.
The Costco of furniture stores. Whatever you get you either buy it one piece at a time or it comes in 100 pieces and you get to put it together. Don't be fooled by the show room floor. It may look cool but it'll take you forever to assemble. That's just the way Ikea is.
They need more shortcuts. You could come in for some small stuff in the show room but it'll take you the whole day to get in and find your way out. In the end the stuff just isn't worth it.
As any other IKEA, a bit smaller than the one in San Diego.
A good place to walk around when it's hot. Fair prices for self assembly furniture. It's hard to beat the meatball plate.
Similar to other IKEAs we've visited. No parking structure at this one.
good place with lot of collection for every budget..
While I had a great experience inside Ikea shopping around for all things "home" related, perusing the cafeteria style menu, and sitting in the miniature model rooms... I could have had a better experience in the parking lot. There was a broken glass on the floor, overfilled trash cans, and trash scattered around the lot. It needed some TLC!
Everything you need for your home furnishings under one roof. The quality on some products is less then desired but overall good prices.
Nice furniture at reasonable prices. They have a restaurant with good food at good prices. I love the salmon filet, which tastes good and is good for you. Should your food get cold, they have a microwave to warm it up. The reason I am giving Ikea 4 stars instead of 5 is because the store is laid out like a maze. You enter on the ground floor and an escalator takes you to the beginning of the maze, upstairs. You are basically stuck traveling through the entire store. There is no such thing as going straight to what you want, grabbing a couple of items, checking out, and leaving. There are signs here and there that supposedly tell you where you are, but they are of little use, because it's too easy to get disoriented, walking through the maze. The so-called "short cuts" don't help much, either. The bottom line: If you are in a hurry or only want to pick up a few items, shop somewhere else. But if you would like to spend a leisurely day shopping and getting some ideas, and maybe get a decent meal, definitely give Ikea a try.
Is more of the same, for quality the prices look cheap but in reality it doesn't worth the money. But is OK if u are looking for something u gonna use for a period of time.
Always an adventure to navigate through the ikea maze. Looking for the fastest route to what I came here to purchase! All the while reflecting on my purpose in the universe, was I created to wander through this Swedish smorgasbord of stuff, have I fulfilled my mission and be called home to glory? I do not know, but today I wrote this review, was it helpful?
Cool show rooms, creative use of space. Got prompt help from a friendly staff.
Don't get lost and be sure to stop by their food court
