Ikea really satisfies all your shopping needs. I got a few shelves for my room and everything went smoothly. It gets a little busy on the weekend. I went to the cafeteria and I wasn't really satisfied with their food. They significantly reduced the portions and the quality of the Swedish meatballs are subpar at best. Other than the cafeteria food, I really like this Ikea. I enjoyed the $1 ice creams near the exit.

The lines at the checkout stand were about the same length as you would find at a Costco. The difference is, at Costco it would only take you 5 minutes to check out. At IKEA it took us an hour. They definitely need to look at their checkout process. What a nightmare.

This is a typical IKEA but that's a good thing. You'll find just about anything you'd need to decorate your home. It can get very crowded on weekends here but parking isn't too bad. I've never tried the cafeteria but I've heard the food is good. You can wander in here for hours and not get bored. Well, I can. It's a good way to kill some time.

Clean, large and lots of variety of household things to buy. From children toys to large furniture. Cafeteria has yummy, cheap eats. Bathrooms are clean. Free sitter play area for kids over 36 inches.

As always, this IKEA location is consistently clean, well cared for, and easy to navigate through. Each small gallery is well-organized and provides a good representation of what their product is supposed to represent, which is always helpful.

Customer service is great. Each representative is understanding and always ready to help.

A great place to shop for furniture.

This location does not practice social distancing. I felt extremely uncomfortable going through this ikea because they let in way too many people in at one time. The majority of the time in the showroom there was people constantly within 6 feet of each other. Team members were around but didn't enforce the distance. If I develop covid 19 symptoms it will definitely be traced back to ikea costa mesa. Covid 19 is serious and this store does not make it safe to shop in store. Protect yourself and don't go to ikea costa mesa until this pandemic is over. If I could I would give them 0 stars due to how dangerous they are making instore shopping.

Its like a second home for me. They feed me, they let me sleep on their couch. I spend hours watching fake TVs. I know the shortcuts like the back of my hand. This IKEA is definitely better than the one in LA.

1. Good collection

1. Good collection
2. A lot of options
3. Nicely arranged and I like the way everything arranged and it seems like a tour.
4. Food is also good.

Used to like this store. Now the customer service is terrible. If you need to make a return be prepared to wait for quite a while. My experience with the associates was not customer oriented and made me feel unwelcome. The items in the store are advertised misleadingly, while not illegal, not customer friendly. Majority of the merchandise is cheap due to low quality, but if you take customer service out of the equation, then there is no reason to shop here. The posts by some of the people on this site and resent personal experience helped me decide to not purchase any of the big ticket items I planned because any money saved will not be worth the hassle.

The working time on Google maps says the store close at 7:00pm, but when I arrived after 32 miles driving on rush the store las closed at 6:40pm. So disappointed to waste my time in the traffic...

The crowds at all hours are a headache and, although it's difficult to blame IKEA for most of that, having more employees at the checkout stands would be an improvement. Display items often look worn and sometimes look dirty. The tables in the food area are sometimes left fairly messy as well. But, in general, it's a typical IKEA experience.

This Ikea is a mess. Calling it GROSS would be an upgrade. I was at Ikea on Sunday. The place was filthy. The men's restroom had Used NEEDLES falling out of a dirty needle box... A DIRTY NEEDLE Box!! There were kids everywhere. Dangerous. The dining room was GROSS as well.. The staff could care less.

I drove to Costa Mesa Ikea thinking it would be a clean, cutting edge store. IT IS Not. It should be shut down. Even the displays of cabinet doors were filthy. How does a store/company let things get this bad...

It's IKEA. What to say, when they have everything. Except that awesome cabinet you saw..... Comes in 5 boxes and takes 6 hours to build. Just saying. True story. Ask anyone. Seriously. But good products overall.

Every time I go there I promise myself I would never put foot again in an Ikea. Service is slow, employees are indifferent, lines are always long, never more than half of them open. I get it that you have to suffer in order to get good prices but still.

Shout out to Kim and Donald at the IKEA Costa Mesa Kitchen department for a great shopping experience! Kim guided us based on our lifestyle and taste and planned a kitchen within the restrictions of angled walls and not too much space. Since she would be off the day we placed our order she partnered with Donald who placed the order for us. They both are extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented and their people & customer service skills are amazing. Working with Kim and Donald was a true pleasure and made us feel extremely comfortable with the process of buying a kitchen. Highly recommend!

Worst customer service ever! These workers at Costa Mesa Ikea don't understand customer service nor comprehend their job. I ordered a closet and paid for assembly. They installed damage part. Tried calling, never gets through, always hanging up due to high volume of calls... I had to go back to store, explained the problem. I was told it will be replaced the following day with new panel. Delivery truck comes and says only here to pick up and drop off. How can they pick up if I paid for assembly... they need take apart and reassemble. They were told only pick and deliver. I had to refuse delivery cause they can't pick up. I might get double billed. Here we go again in circles with ikea customer service. I bet ikea don't even read this. They suck!
