Mega Furniture store with second-rate furniture that you have to put together yourself. The two times we have bought Furniture here it was missing parts or the holes weren't in exactly the right place to make it go together easily.. If you're looking for Quality Furniture go somewhere else

Unhelpful directions within store, no assistance in loading despite "any of the guys in bright yellow outside can help you"

The only good part of the visit we're they guy and gal that helped us in the closet organizer section. These two were pheonominal and deserve a raise. Those two get 5 stars each easily. The rest of the store gets a two

I remembered when this location opened years ago. At first no one knew what IKEA was all about, but once the word got out there about how everything was cute and at a great price, it became a sensation.
It came when the economy of the crash in '08 happened and IKEA seemed like the perfect place to get everything to furnish an apartment, home, studio or office. Thumb up

Visited the store today. Pickup was very fast and efficient however the check out for goods and products headlines of 25 people waiting in line for each check out could not pay for something small I'd have to wait in line for almost an hour just to pay for some cookies makes no sense you need to have self check out so people who just buy something small can be in and out that's my Feedback

All Ikea's truly live up to their legacies, and this location is no exception. The store's layout is simple and streamlined, while the products are always reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly, and there has personally never been a problem in this particular location.

Bought my kitchen from IKEA in April 2015. It is now August, and everything that could go wrong HAS gone wrong. They were out of stock on a lot of the pieces that we needed to finish up the kitchen, and that took a couple of months (and I had to drive to San Diego to get some parts that Costa Mesa didn't have). Their computer program overlapped cabinets, putting 133 inches of cabinets in a space that was 131 inches wide (thus, messing up the entire kitchen layout). AND FINALLY, their subcontractor who puts in the countertops, Eurostone, messed up the quartz counters in THREE different ways, and now they are refusing to fix it, and I will have to take IKEA to small claims to fix their error.

By the way, when IKEA's subcontractor screws up, IKEA won't deal with the problem. They tell you that you have to deal with their subcontractor. But I purchased the kitchen and counters from IKEA, not a 3rd party subcontractor, and IKEA won't make it right.

What they did (the counter top people) is horrid... instead of shaping the counters around the undermount sink, they cut a rectangle, just like a big hole for an overmount sink, and they attached the sink to the rectangle. I wish I could post photos. It's just awful.

The countertop people also put a 2" overhang to the right side of my dishwasher area jutting into the 36" space for the refrigerator, so now we can't put a full size refrigerator in the kitchen because the refrigerator space is 34" wide.

AND they put in a hole in the counter top in a completely different place than agreed to. Their measuring guy was Henry, and we stood in my kitchen and he agreed to place a 5" hole, 5" from the back of the counters - and they put it in 2" from the back wall. Now he's lying and saying they put it in the right spot.

IT'S BEEN A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Even though it is crowded on a Saturday, it is a fun place to walk around the different rooms. There are affordable products, but consider the more you pay, usually the better the quality. If you get hungry, there is a cafeteria to tame the "hanger." Sign up for the family price. It is free and can help save you some money.

IKEA always has quality supply and a great selection!

I had a hard time deciding how many stars to give this location.

Pros-
Great selection, great location, great prices .... and when u come at a time when it s not crowded (week nights) you can move around really quick and get what you need pretty fast.

Cons-
If you come on the weekend during the day, It feels like you are at the mall at Xmas. It can get real packed! If u want to browse the whole store on a walkthrough during this time, plan on an hour.

4 star rating.

Always a great place to shop, great ideas in there show rooms and furniture is easy to build. We have been shopping there for years and the furniture lasts a long time. Great cafe and snack area, breakfast is inexpensive as are the lunch and dinner meals. Quick snacks like the pizza combo, hot dog combo and they have cinnamon rolls and yogurt cones as well.

Food is priced well here for the Salmon plate and Meatballs/Veggie balls plate, included cooked vegetables and quinoa. Kids meal is free, but don't expect quality food. IKEA family offers rewards like free tea or free coffee and other discounts, etc. If you find the short cut to check out stands, you will avoid having to walk through every single showroom just to get to the register.

Love it

Parking: 5/5

Parking: 5/5
You should always be able to find parking here, or at least I have

Layout: 5/5
It could be intimating to people who haven't gone to ikea before, but the store layout is pretty smart. You can walk upstairs and go through each section or you can walk through doors and skip certain sections (there are maps that show you the sections). OR if you don't need ideas and you know what you want, just go up the escalator, make a left and go down the flight of stairs to start shopping. Again, you can skip certain sections by finding the doors

Products: 4/5
Few products are very filmsy and poor quality but you get what you pay for.. Most items are great and easy to assemble without instructions

COVID19:
There's a line to go into ikea and you have to wear mask. I went right when ikea was opening so the line went fairly quick. When I left two hours later, the line was around a 30min wait to go in

Worst furniture shopping experience ever. Delivery was late, part of the order was missing, the bed was delivered without mattress. it was extremely long to get hold of customer services, and they were useless. They don't give a sh*.

Cheap prices and products..get what you pay for. Definitely need to check out the floor model, open box , missing part section for super deals on furniture... Was somewhat disappointed when I winch for regular hot dog stop used to be two hot dogs and a drink for a dollar fifty now $3.25 it has been about a year since my last visit but that seems like a pretty big increase a lot of their items

Love going here. Friendly associates. If your lucky and you have kiddos you might be able to drop them off at their baby sitting center. Takes a while to go through all the store because it is designed as a maze: START- FINISH! Go during the week as the weekend is always crowded!

Save your self time and energy, order at the store! I ordered online (winter) we had delivery issues and took an extra long time and arrived damaged.
I went to the store and delivered correctly, not damaged the next day. If I had gone down in the morning they would of delivered the same day.

Have seen a few IKEAs in Europe. You go there for good balance between quality and price, and usually - large selection of products in one place. This one was least impressive of all unfortunately. Neither of the above true here.
