I had not been at IKEA for a while and I now notice how tasteful and clear all example living rooms bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms etc have become.
Lots of choice for every taste, many information points and very friendly employees everywhere who without exception help you immediately with whatever your question is.
Compliments to the staff !!
And compliments for the large, tasteful range. And again: not expensive! I have found a lovely office chair made of genuine cow leather with a 10-year warranty for 169 euros. For such a wonderful chair with high backrest and built-in lumbar support really not much money.
There is only one flaw for me (hence 4 stars instead of 5) and that is that if you suffer from claustrophobia, IKEA is quite a barrier. There is an entrance and an exit, and there are no windows or doors anywhere. That is part of IKEA, but it is really difficult with claustrophobia. I know two more people who don't go for that reason. I rarely go there myself for that reason. Too bad, because I would like to watch more often.

Just visited IKEA in Haarlem. A lady with the first name Wilma helped me. I had paid fifteen euros to collect the whole package in one go. Before I leave home I check my mail for updates, that was not the case. I get there and am told it is incomplete. So I react surprised and irritated. IKEA makes a mistake, so I thought I could respond that way. But the woman behind the counter waltzed over me and raised her voice. Don't think that a single customer likes to be addressed like that. Apparently what IKEA stands for. Now at home just put the stuff in my house, and now call their customer service to complain about the employee's rude attitude. I had to wait 16 minutes before I was helped, but IKEA will look behind the scenes to see what went wrong. The lady on the phone did not write down any data, so I wondered how she can look at the situation if she does not know what order number it is, or my name, etc. After that she should have written everything down properly. Now she is contacting the branch manager, and I have received coupons for the restaurant.

Still definitely a one star for this review. The lady behind the counter knew exactly how things go about IKEA, so given that she can apparently afford this behavior, this is apparently the quality they use in the selection of staff.

Bizarre, just tried to use the #BLACKFRIDAY return...

Bizarre, just tried to use the #BLACKFRIDAY return options at IKEA, we would like to buy a new TV cabinet at IKEA, so super nice, you can return the old one and receive a nice symbolic amount to spend at IKEA again. nothing is less true, a sour plum at the customer service brushes one after the other to return your product. in addition, it all goes painfully slow, you had to make an appointment, but that is not taken into account.
even when I asked if they might take it over for a small amount, she didn't want to start, our old TV furniture is an existing IKEA TV cabinet, high-gloss white, and yes there are traces of use, I have that according to the IKEA website also passed on, no problem they take it into account.

They can whistle that 500 euros for a new piece of furniture, no longer a customer of IKEA after this deception, worthless action, worthless service, no customer appreciation.
