No shop to shoot at. You see the same stuff in many places. And very busy today.

Employees are friendly and helpful. I think special for such a company.

Today was very disappointing. My girlfriend invited me, she wanted to trade something. Together with her little girl of 9 months. We had to wait a long time, but without a receipt we still managed to get a voucher (neat)
We were completely corona test, going to connect from the outside, in a long line by now ... we were absolutely amazed that we, once our turn, were not allowed in with the 3 of us !!!!
Also not separately from each other ......
The next day, my girlfriend went alone quickly ....... and who can describe her surprise, when people in exactly the same composition were allowed to enter ???

Free parking, good food, cozy store with stuff for a reasonable price.

Working with Ikea Haarlem's Kitchen department to create our new kitchen has been one of the worst and most stressful experiences we've ever had. We started the process in early June and our kitchen is still not fully installed. The incompetence has been astounding. Ikea told us our countertops were going to take 8 weeks before they came in. We've waited 8 weeks and now their installation are scheduled in 4 days and we got an email this morning saying YOU FORGOT TO ORDER THEM?! We're living with a partially installed kitchen and a toddler, we've had a difficult time waiting the 8 weeks and now you're actually saying you JUST FORGOT to order them? We've extremely bad problems from the very beginning of this project. When are kitchen was delivered, part of the cabinets delivered were in the wrong color, you forgot to order important electrical items, we had to go into the store 4 times during the installation process. When you came to measure the kitchen and make sure the layout worked with the measurements you failed to see that the layout covered the skylight and that the range hood didn't fit in the kitchen. This caused severe issues during installation. The installation was priced out during the measurement appointment and yet when the company came to install our kitchen they said the "MISCOUNTED" the number of cabinets in the measurement process and we would have to pay almost 500 euros additional for extra work and materials. They demanded payment right then or they wouldn't continue our partially installed kitchen. And believe it or not, there were SO many more issues than just these. We were told to go into the store to make a payment with credit card and an appointment for payment wasn't necessary. When we arrived you wouldn't take our payment because we didn't have an appointment. So we made an appointment, came all the way back, and spent 2 hours in the store because your payment processing wasn't working. We ended up going home, again, without being able to pay. I can't believe the inefficient, unprofessional, and frankly unethical process this has been.

Nicely decorated, it was just getting lost for a while, but I thought that was more my fault.

Large Lots of choice and easy to find everything with those arrows

This is your typical Ikea. If you're looking for inexpensive furniture that you are not likely to pass down to your ancestors, then Ikea meets your needs and likely meets your budget. If you're willing to spend a bit more you can get some quality pieces of furniture that you can customize to your style. Because of the grand nature of Ikea, you should plan several hours to explore, find your items, and have a snack in the cafe. There is a train station adjacent to the store so it's a big benefit for folks who don't have a car.

Friendly and helpful people, easily accessible location (right next to Haarlem-Spaarnwoude train station), plenty of parking spaces, good and spacious showroom / shop. Food is ok, but they do have (as one of the few Ikea's) free onions and pickle with the hot dogs ^^

I was here with my acquaintances to enjoy those tasty mini minced meatballs. Yes yes IKEA is nice always pleasantly busy.

Amanda set up a spacious business, friendly and correct information in the kitchen department. Just a few photos, the pencils and notes are missing today. This way you can still find everything in the warehouse.

Ikea is hell. Fortunately there are short routes to freedom.

This particular IKEA-Haarlem shop diced not to accept returns in case it was assembled!!!!
Bought few chairs. Assembled them at home then decided to get different ones. Disassembled them and put in the original packages. Brought back to the shop and have been told that it s not possible. The reason is it is the rule of this shop. They said this rule exits for about a year, which I doubt. I asked to check if IKEA in Amsterdam has the same and it turned out it not. Tried to get any reason why this rule exists in one shop while the other does not have it. Was told that this decision is made by main director of this shop. The official IKEA return policy does not have this rule. What is going on?! I am very frustrated with this. This shop is loosing me as the customer I am afraid.

Opinion revised downwards. Really impossible that there is no response from management to any substantive criticism. That must have to do with the arrogance of a case where people keep coming anyway.
I'd say think the other way around. By responding properly, perhaps more people will come ... Sympathy, favor factor, concepts that should not be underestimated.

What makes me crazy is the purchase and sale of millions of plastic straws and washing-up brushes at rock-bottom prices. IKEA completely unworthy. They (and the indifferent people who buy it ...) make the plastic soup in the seas bigger instead of smaller, so as far as I'm concerned they shouldn't use the word sustainability in any way.
Stop it, now and not just in 2020! Just collect everything together and recycle. Let's swallow the loss, but IKEA can take it ...

Wide parking even for bicycles. The shop is huge and you can find everything. There is also the food shop. I ate their 1 euro hotdogs and I liked them!

Lots of choices for affordable prices. Ample parking and a spacious restaurant

Ordered a mattress with pickup. There was no way to know it doesn't come rolled up so found out on the spot that it won't fit in the car. Had to reorder and pay the transport fee. Time wasted.

Good parking, great restaurant. Shopping experience is good

Ikea neat. Large assortment. Catering okay. Can be a little cleaner at the tables.

IKEA is good and bad. The good thing is they sell EVERYTHING, which is the bad thing at the same time. Creativity is not challenged.

with where everything goes along. mouth masks. Fine, they are even handed out at the door. But not required? Unfortunately. Entire families still come in. People without a cart are still standing close to each other in front of the till. Would be nice if visitors would be pointed this out via the intercom. Now, of course, someone addressed this myself. After the checkout it is full of people waiting, eating. Not pleasant! Glad that I have everything at home again for the time being.

Always nice, good stuff for a low price. The food is also great for a very low price. As an IKEA family member you also get free coffee. The furnished rooms give a nice picture of what is possible with small spaces and give you new insights into how you can tackle matters at home. Nowadays you do not even have to go to the store anymore because the webshop does free delivery. Really great!

Nils from the Cupboards section was so unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable! He made my experience there really positive.

Easily accessible and larger assortment than in Amsterdam. The staff is also friendlier.

Nice store with lots of parking space, sometimes annoying that there is a traffic jam to the highway.

Ikea doesn't really make me happy, at least, because of the crowds there and the asosial behavior of some people. Of the products themselves, they are good. That's why 4 *.

The new showroom is yet to take shape and I must confess: very nice with those vistas in a living room or bedroom or kitchen.
For the rest I miss the atmosphere .... less "loose" articles downstairs where the atmosphere and conviviality is missing.
The restaurant also looks like a canteen ... everything open and busy ... very busy

Good playground, I had a good time all day. In between, you better go to the Mac, the food is moderate.
