IKEA Hengelo Review

Twice over paid to get something delivered and then just not get it .... 1st time you still think: can happen, large company, sometimes something goes wrong. But now again ?? Ordered on Thursday, delivered on Saturday, 50 extra paid. Saturday to be told it will come Monday. Today (Sunday), because you will call again to be sure that it will not come on Monday either ..... So then money back: "that is possible sir, it will only be refunded in two weeks"

I am not so fond of the big stores but occasionally it is handy to get something here.

Thursday night after Ikea in Hengelo. Was looking after fitted sheets. Saw a very young boy thought I will ask which are the best in summer. .Then showed the cooling cushion covers and bottom sheet.Even doubts taken anyway.And they are perfect.Really helped so much fun

Easy to reach, lots of parking space.
Nice big restaurant. Do not forget the IKEA card for the 2nd cup. Shopping like in all the other IKEA shops. Handy quickly and clarity with a question to the staff. Which, incidentally, is sufficiently present.

Ikea nice to walk through and look among the stuff there also good food in their restaurant I say recommended ps keep in mind tyd because that is not a store that you walk through so nice for a Sunday or bad weather or a great day out in the cold days

Same as all the IKEA shops. Friendly staff. But they don't have a lot of options for the restaurant tho. You could choose only between 2 dishes and they ran out of boiled potatoes so you could eat the fish(for example) only with fries.

Beautiful spacious IKEA. Restaurant still closed due to Corona. Plenty of parking space.

Ikea as generally known, pretty good for little money. Neat decor and clean. I am always happy. A minus point: Sunday it was very busy. People everywhere. At mattress department, after 20m staff came to ask if we needed help. We had tried most latex mattresses and made a choice. This was not rolled up and we had to come back the next day with 2 people. Just make a receipt and then pay, she said. The next day we asked where we should be and asked at the checkout and at the pick-up location what happened with 90 days of exchange. "Did you get any sleep advice?" No, it was so busy that we first tried and read it ourselves and what suits us. The staff did not speak or offer anything about "compulsory sleep advice" on Sunday. I got the feeling that we are guilty because we didn't ask for it. We have never bought a new mattress at IKEA store and do not know what the rules are.

Always cozy and good. Friendly and friendly service.

Recently bought a few household items and then went for coffee at the restaurant. When we thought we could just leave the building, we had to go through the entire store again with the items already paid and we were stopped at the checkout. Despite our receipt and showing the bag, someone from security had to come. There you stand with your good behavior and everyone is viewed as a potential shoplifter whose bag is being investigated. If you then complain about this, you will get a limp referral to the website where you cannot find anything. Bah! never been treated so rude!

Many other stores around it. makes it an exuberant place to stop for a while on the journey.

It s the same as every other IKEA - and that s a good thing. Only thing I would personally like to see, is more vegan options. There are plenty of options at other IKEA stores but this one seems to be running behind a bit.

Keep finding it an annoying store. Just not my thing. Prices are great!

It is still fun to walk through this store. Always nice to eat something here. The vegetarian balls seem to be very tasty.

Difficult to reach, traffic controllers only watch, but do not arrange anything.

IKEA always nice. Client card for discounts and free coffee. Ideal for kitchen and living room accessories.

Sunday has been a disaster. Completely crowded parking. Since we were there with two children, we could not stand properly with a trailer anywhere. In the parking garage we found a place far away. But the elevator was out of order with a stroller that was stupid.
A child has fallen in the staircase at the much too short steps.
In the market, the restaurant was only one page open so everything was extremely delayed.
But when I wanted to drive the car to the loading zone, Ikea did not plan it, the road was closed, so you had to go back to the main road, turn there and back the entire way. Which of course was completely overcrowded.
Conclusion: Never again Ikea Hengelo

Our favourite place to go either for a quick Swedish snack or for an hour or two of browsing the entire shop. Handy to have everything in one place. Good service from staff.

Pin failure, renovations and order pickers that apparently still need to be incorporated. Finally spent almost an hour picking up one item on a quiet Wednesday. Also a very confusing and busy parking lot because of the square with many other shops. This could be so much better ...

Quickly gain some inspiration for designing a student room.

Easily accessible, spacious parking.
Wide range, favorable prices, good customer service. Cheap trailer rental.

Nice inexpensive articles. Find walking route very long.
Restaurant not cozy.
Always enough parking space.

Good as any other IKEA. Some shortage in few areas like electricity for the house and flowers. For the test excellent.

Beautiful warehouse for everyone who wants some new!

Ample parking, customer-friendly staff, I spontaneously saw an employee clearing a fallen glass vase while the customer had already settled and was eating an ice cream. The customer was even allowed to collect a free new vase.

Always handy to have something to eat here after the hurdles.

Interesting for home / garden changes / renovations or just new living ideas. You often come home with more than you actually wanted to buy. "Because you often come across things that can also be useful and used"

Best IKEA I've ever been to. Complete and good selection of stuff

As usual, I went home with much more stuff than planned.
