If you are not visiting for the great stylish furniture, the affordable decorations, the exotic grocery and the great shopping experience, at least you'll check out the food hall. Yesterday I just came for the meatballs, the redberry sauce, the hotdogs and the hot dog sauce! And... I might go back again tonight !

Great shop for accessories, and grab a bite. When do you open a store in Almere or Lelystad? I would have expected a time with so many potential customers who are now going to Amsterdam or Amersfoort.

Super crowded. It took us 2 days to figure out what to buy and almost 5h to customize 2 wardrobes (their application is only in duch and all the employees there were busy). The restaurant is ok but just a couple of hot dishes and cold ones. (P. S. : It was our first time when we bought furniture)

Just ate there, had the fries with cod.
For the price I had at least a somewhat smaller piece of freshly baked cod, instead of frozen junk that was also cold.

A nice and large branch of the Swedish (but meanwhile also Dutch) global concern. Here you can buy the well-known and not so well-known typical Ikea home furnishings. Often it's pretty good value for money, but some things can get cheaper elsewhere in a non-Ikea variant. So be price-conscious if you come here for a cheap household item. However, if you come here to have your house completely Ikea (yes, those people are there too) then you have every choice in the world.

Note that for certain items such as bedding, Ikea sometimes wants to use sizes that deviate from the Dutch standard. So always check !!

Upon entering you first have the opportunity to go to the large restaurant. This is also possible after you have done a round upstairs. The restaurant offers nice dishes at reasonable prices. Show your Ikea Family card and some things become a little cheaper or - in the case of coffee - even completely free. This without having to save a single point. Nothing goes wrong with such a loyalty card!
The Ikea Family customer card also gives you regular discounts on the normal Ikea items, the non-food sayings.

Once on the ground floor, no restaurant. But, beyond the cash registers (after passing the gigantic self-service warehouse) there is a snack counter. Here you can, considerably cheaper than in the restaurant, enjoy a number of delicacies. If you do not necessarily want a table with chairs, it is seriously worth it to just skip the restaurant and eat your belly around here! ;)

In addition to the snack counter, there is also a Swedish Foodstore. This is a kind of conbini, so a kind of mini supermarket, where typical Ikea foods are sold. From the meatballs to the well-known Daim chocolate, Almond pies and lingonberry soda, you will find it here. The price is not really cheap but then again lower than if you get things at the specialty store / shop. And then you have something special (well, half of the Netherlands thinks that, hahaha!) As a nice present for those staying at home? : P

Although I have a different Ikea location closer to home, I usually go to this one, there is rarely anything sold out, unlike that smaller location closer. Certainly a plus point of this location, as far as I'm concerned!

The smart lamps are also nice, you don't have to buy expensive Philips lamps for this, this works just as well. Work together with both the own Ikea 'bridge' and also the universal home automation bridge 'Homey' from Dutch soil. If you pick up the home automation then that is definitely a tip, so that you will not be stuck with 2 or more separate systems that do not want to work together. Homey is not available at Ikea - check out the well-known electronics stores or on the internet.

Does Ikea suit you? Then this is the Ikea to visit!

After buying a cupboard. (Who had been sent to someone before and was incomplete) My wife and I wanted to return it. Call first ...
After half an hour of waiting music still no answer. Try again tomorrow.
Day 2 went better, after 10 minutes I got someone on the phone. Returning was no problem at all.
We carried our cupboard back to the IKEA. Then draw a number ...
Waiting time longer than 10 minutes
In the meantime I have been waiting here for half an hour (with plus minus 30 other people) until my closet is taken again.
Hence this comprehensive review.

IN SHORT:
What a bad thing this is!

Currently I'm in a love-hate relationship with this store. I love it because I can gain some inspiration in decorating, but after coming here for many years I'm starting to notice how extremely little ever changes in the displays. Starting with the fact that I see the floorboards I bought here are still used in some of the modelhomes, which is hilarious because I haven't been able to get those floorboards for almost a year now because you discontinued them (even though I needed two more packs four months after buying the original 40 packs...). I get that redoing the model homes is a big job that is not so easily done, but it is a bit of a bummer after a while.

As for your customer service I have nothing but compliments. When returning home I realised I was charged for 3 products of which I only bought one. After returning the staff checked the security footage and concluded that they saw me packing one and that it was most likely that a mistake had been made, after which the money was returned to me immediately. It was a bit of a wait, as it was really busy, but thank you for the help!

This ikea is greatly located very close to the metro station, for car drivers the parking is for free. And if you have IKEA family card you'll get coffee for free.

Usually very crowded on weekends.

Delivery service is fantastic, lately they can even deliver in the same day if you buy in the morning - afternoon.

Ikea Amsterdam,

Ikea Amsterdam,

Ok, it's Ikea, what can I say about it:

They are big, not the biggest in Holland but a good nr 2 or 3.
they have a very big garage to park your car for free. the subway and train station are not far away.
Don't come at an Holiday weekend, you'll be stuck in traffic for sure !!.
they have good meals, some people come only for the food.

Be aware that some items are not in stock at this location, so it's possible that you have to go to an other place to pick up your washing machine or dryer.
