IKEA Amsterdam Review

The food was gross, even the fries were cold and chewy.

Food was good, no complaints about anything at all.

Idiotic setup, tiring you are forced to walk through the store even if you only have to buy one thing I reluctantly go there and the restaurant is nothing

Has everything you expect from an ikea. Not special. Especially practical

It's still a confusing place, but for the first time in years the air quality seems bearable.

Always nice stuff or take a walk. Now they hand out masks when you go in. You always come home with something. And tasty hot dogs.

Ikea is always good! If you are looking for something you can always find it there!

IKEA. So many promises, so much disappointment. Do use it if you are a student or its your first time moving away from home. Don't use it if you care about the environment or need a kitchen. For the love of God and mother nature, never buy a kitchen there. You have been warned!

Always a pleasure to be allowed to stroll. Chance of crowds is present during the weekend, it is often doable during the week

Very busy at 10 mins to closing time. Checkout lines are insane. The items are good quality for what they cost though.

It's an Ikea so plenty to see and mostly good for cheap (temporary) solutions. Various products have a bit lower quality too though.

Worthless. Have been waiting for my order for an hour and here are 4 others waiting for an hour or more.

Amazing, lives up to its name. The best part is that they have a play area for kids where you can leave your kids for an hour and shop care free

Free mouth masks at the door (neat). They had the mattress I needed ( ) and nice bedding. The hot dog was super delicious too.

The only pity is the mandatory walking route through the store while you know exactly what you want to buy. I am sensitive to impulse purchases and I have to keep on going with blinkers and an eye on endlessly so as not to be tempted.

I was at IKEA on 09/18/20. We did our shopping late. I was standing with my grandfather (67y) when we had our turn, the gentleman from the service did not let his grandfather in, saying that only one person can be at the checkout. Everyone around was not alone, families with children, couples and friends were at the other cash registers. The gentleman said I couldn't come in with my grandfather (Dutch) because I don't speak Dutch. Discrimination! The Lord was very insolent, he wanted to call security. I scanned the goods, but I would not like to re-enter the cash register with a family member. It's humiliating.

Nice busy and at least early on Sunday (check first the ikea website for the current opening times, because I first stood for a closed Ikea Haarlem )

This is the worst store I have been in. I have been waiting for my delivery for more than two weeks. I don t bring furniture because couriers confuse orders. I ordered a sofa, dishes, pillows, wardrobes, and much more. I sleep on the floor. It's just an edition. Full disappointment. Terrible service and delivery. Never come to your store again

More than one hour has to wait to ask a simple question at the customer service is really outrageous! Then the delivery without notice was canceled because they forgot ?? !!. Bad!

It is really a super store, everything you need for in your house can be found there!

It's your standard branch of IKEA, although this one is on the large side. As always, the place is a maze and takes an incredibly long time to walk through. Plenty of mock rooms to give some inspiration. Warehouse picking area is absolutely huge.

Has a restaurant although this is currently closed due to the restrictions.

Only a short walk from the nearby metro station, although as always the pedestrian entrance is a bit hard to find!

Independent cash register: ideal to avoid waiting time at normal checkout.

The Ikea has sufficient parking space. The cheap meals and the hot dogs make it tempting not to go here just for furniture.

Always come away with a headache. Just too busy and too much stimulation. Somehow always leave here spending more money than I indended. Generally poor price quality ratio. But it's Ikea. You can't avoid it. Kids like it. Good for a quick, cheap bite too.

My love has been taunted since I had to drive to a takeaway for two wire drawers.

You just want to have some food, yet you're forced to walk half marathon to get out of the store after that.

Price quality is good and always nice to walk around

Ikea is a popular company. Always fun to visit. Ample parking. It was not busy but still a long line at the checkout. There are at least 20 cash registers but 3 were open in the middle. On the far left there was a cash register open but no one saw that. It would be more convenient to open the cash registers together. Now the cashier was doing nothing.

Construction is underway but Ikea does everything to limit the inconvenience for the customer.

Ikea is always fun! However, the idea that the range has become smaller.

Amersfoort is better, the trays with small lost parts are well filled there.
