Good place to take visitors. Great views, lot's of drink and food choices.

The wait wasn t terrible- Saturday night waited for approximately 55min for a table for 5. The food was decent but no wow factor there and they didn t have the space heaters turned on so we were freezing at 8pm eating.

Nice view of Lake Travis. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery. This restaurant is enormous! Went on a workday so the restaurant was not quite so busy. Was hoping for more tex- mex, not alot of choices. Settled for a tasty burger. Cooked to order and served hot. A bit pricey but the scenery makes up for it. Service staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food is great at this place and the drinks are well worth the price as they do not lack in potency. The view is breathtaking. Great food, great drinks, great view ...it doesn't get much better than this.

Stunning views, but the food there is quite expensive

The food was surprisingly good. I had shrimp tacos. Try the chicken diablos! Service was really good considering how busy it was on a Fri night. The view was amazing!

40 dollars for frozen chicken and beef fajitas that were reheated. Very low quality food, I expected more given the scenery, environment, and price. Smh...

It's a well known fact you only come out here for the views. Save your money, skip the food and go to the candy store.

Always gorgeous views. Just took my mom and 10 year old for the first time and they loved it. Great laid back dinner.

Location is good. They have small shops that you can look at. The food is not that good.

Loved it, amazing view and perfect for all ages. Very romantic it's just the perfect getaway. The food and drinks were delicious and the prices very reasonable. Staff very nice and friendly and the wait time is just right you get to shop and look around the shops.

I drove 5 hours to visit this place, but service here is horrible. Servers never come to even ask how you re doing or if you need anything else. Next time I rather would think if it s worth coming. Everyone is rude and do not care about their customers. However the view is beautiful other than that nothing else is good

Beautiful views overlooking Lake Travis worth catching a sunset from. The brewery next to the Tex-Mex spot is more my style with better food and cheaper prices but the management for both places was clearly sub par. The views are great and in a region with little typography changes this is a nice spot. Outside of Austin, this place would rank low on the list but there aren t many natural landscapes like this that a public place like the Oasis gives you a great vantage point of.

We are here yet again for another company Christmas party as always service is great food is great and what can I say about the view it is awesome

Waited over 45 minutes for no service at the top floor bar. Asked multiple waiters for help and they all said they would find our server. But no such luck.

Waited FOREVER and had TERRIBLE service! Even spoke with the general manager, jody, and he was very rude! The food is okay, but nothing special. If you want a beautiful view with great food and service, go to Gumbo.

This is now on my top 10 favorite Mexican restaurants. Amazing views great food the only thing I wish I could have experienced during warmer weather and the lake more active. (not the restaurant issue)

Listen if you ever find yourself in the Lake Travis area go on and take the time out of your day try this place out.

Great view; obviously the only reason we went. The food was good enough. The waiter was NOT knowledgeable about beer. He told me I looked like Harry Potter.

The food is alright and maybe a little bit overpriced but the atmosphere and the view overcompensate for that. So a great experience overall

The service was amazing. All the staff were super nice and the view over lake Travis is amazing. A great place for family gatherings or dates. The food was ok, the prices were on the higher end around $15-20 per dish, service was slow and the food took an hour to get but this could be because we came for Sunday lunch which is a popular time.

Today we celebrated our 4th anniversary with dinner here. It wasn t overly crowded due to covid19. The food was great but the view OMG. We sat outside over looking the lake and as the sunset; it was pure nostalgia. We will definitely be back.

Best view in Texas. Sunday night Salsa night with The Brew is worth putting on your summer must-do list. Its like going to Disney World for restaurants. The sunset capital of Texas. I would take all out of town guest. But, you should go during the week to avoid the crowds. It is THE Austin landmark. Food is okay. The Perfect Meltdown makes you feel that you are on vacation.

Atmosphere & drinks great! Food awful, overpriced and just plain bad

This is the most overrated restaurant i have ever been to. Ordered beef fajitas and a burger, both were very bad.

It's like a small version of Pier 39 with view of the Lake Travis instead of the bay of San Francisco

Advertised as a brewery. To be clear, it is not a brewery. Although the service was friendly and timely, and the food was good, don't say you are a brewery when you are not.

Spectacular Deck view above lake Travis. Drinks and food are delicious. Wait staff is friendly, helpful. Nice price for quality food and drinks.

Came here at 5:40pm. Didn t get our guac and queso til 6:30p. Got our entrees 10 mins later all very cold and disappointing. Waitress was very nice. But overall poor quality food and wait times. Won t be returning.

Lake views (especially at sunset) and great drinks make the trip unforgettable. The food is okay, but we were much more focused on the incredible location and the great drinks. Be prepared to wait a while for a table.

The restaurant was closed but at the website and google map shows there is open, a lot of people had come from far away!!!

The view. Is spectacular it's beautiful there however the service and the food not so great we sat outside alone slowly people started to arrive and getting their order's mean while we're still waiting for ours 40 minutes later the food was no good my baby hamburger was charcoal (burnt) my enchiladas were dry no flavor priced too high

Best view of any restaurant. There is always a huge waiting list so allow time to wait for a table. Food and drinks are the best.

The view was amazing . Food was okay but the service was horrible. They are so unorganized and the waitress we had was very rude. She messed up our drinks and was in a huge rush she never came to check on us to see if we needed anything. They had a table pushed so close to us we had been given a high chair and the waitress left the empty chair basically in the way of our table and the guests next to us and it was a huge issue for them because we asked them to move the chair and all they did was put it in front of the walkway between our table and the people next to us. I was expecting way better service but that did not happen. The only reason we will be visiting again would be for the view and hope we get a better server next time.

Good thing they have chips n salsa, which are really good, btw. Service was bad. Waiter hardly talked to us and when taking our order, just stood there looking at us to see if we were ready. He said nothing; it was weird. Food was over-priced because of the view, which was very nice. But, great food would have been awesome. Not the cleanest or most up-to-date either. But, if u want a view, go. Food was ok, just pricey.

Enjoy my experience at this restaurant. Was there for my daughter's wedding and the staff was great. The food was better than I expected since the last time I went the food was kind of just okay.

View is spectacular. We were so hungry. 1 hour waiting.. which is ok.

fajitas are So greasy and no taste.. I can eat and enjoy the same food in smaller restaurants.. My family and I ordered a mango and strawberry ice tea No taste of mango and strawberry at all!!! not sweet either..
The restroom is so nasty.. So sad.. it s our first time in this place.. definitely NOT coming back. It s very disappointing. We didn t finished our food. And the table next to us almost didn t touch the food.
If my Friends will ask me about this resto. I will tell them our experienced. So it s up to them if they will visit.

View of lake Travis is outstanding! Sunsets are a must here. We didn't eat so I can't speak to the food. But the view is great!

At the Oasis!!!!! This place was soo cool! What a great view of lake Travis! The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Its a bit of a drive so try not to get too tipsy watching the sun set!

The lake is gorgeous at sunset, of course. The surrounding area just begs to be explored. Come prepared with sunscreen, water, flotation devices, food, and lake-side vibes to enjoy this paradise in Austin

This place doesn't even deserve one star. Terrible guest service...We didn't mind waiting to be seated because we knew it would take about an hour to sit, but what pissed me and my husband off is they forgot to put our names on the waiting list. After waiting an hour and saw the restaurant closed sign at the door we asked the host how much longer do we have to wait. The girl (don't remember her name but the one with the fake eyelashes) took about 5 minutes to find our name. She was slowly scrolling down the page on the tablet, didn't even look at our face. Finally they decided to seat us. The table that we were seated was blocked by a pillar. We politely asked if we can seat somewhere else after waited and being forgotten. And there were lots of empty tables.Of course they didn't move us. And we end up leaving the restaurant. Wasting time...

Great atmosphere, different shops and small beer brewery.

Good Place to Eat with wonderful view, but a bit pricy and hard to get a table.

Great scenery but terrible food and even worse service. I live nearby and this is my second time to visit the Oasis. The first time my wife and I went we were in awe at the scenic view from our table; until we realized that the food and service was terrible. I thought that maybe it was a bad first experience until i just went there again and had the sane terruble service. The waiters cannot seem to break away from conversation with tourists who seem to keep their attention with nonstop cueious questions all the while my order is still with the waiter and his conversation. I usually end up just getting my own drinks at the bar and asking the waiter to tip me at the end of the night. I will not do this again and I would not recommend!

Mother's Day Brunch was very good. The view is FANTASTIC. Brought my Mom and Grandmother here who were visiting from the East coast. They were delighted and left with a full belly and souvenir glasses to take back.

Beautiful views and tasty brews. Go to the 3rd floor tap room and you might just see a lemur hanging on a beam in the patio section. Very cool and a must see if in Austin!

My husband and I, took a trip to Austin from Houston with the intentions of going specifically to this restaurant. We searched for a restaurant that would be memorable because we planned on doing a personal gender reveal. I had read the reviews and debating about this restaurant mainly because of the low scores for the food. After days of going back and forth, we decided to go for it. I am so glad we did! The place is amazing and off the bat the view is a whoa! My husband ordered the fajita for one and I ordered the fish tacos. Both dishes were so good! The fajita is to date the softest fajita I have ever tasted! The fish tacos were also delicious and very filling. I am so glad I gave this restaurant a try. The only thing I would like to see an improvement on is how dirty the floor is. I think they get away with it because people are so enthralled with the view that nobody is really looking down. Either way, the restaurant and experience was enough to overshadow this detail. We plan on returning with loved ones in the next couple of months.

Time to do a brunch run at the Oasis great time of the year. Nothing better than a Bloody Mary and brunch on a brisk Saturday morning. Sitting on the deck with a view looking out over lake Travis. Then making a run to luckenbach for a beer in the afternoon.

I always enjoy The Oasis absolutely spectacular ambiance. Weekends they do a good brunch lots of fun in the fall, winter and spring but summer only fun at nights, Texas heat....

Visiting from out of town, we visited The Oasis for the view and decided to eat. I ordered the mix combination fajitas, My husband ordered the El Jefe...While waiting for our food the restaurant serves chips and salsa...Cold...the chips and the salsa. Our cups had salsa residue on the brim of them. Our drinks (alcoholic beverage) were watered down...Mojito had a very funny taste to it.My husband didnt even drink it. Once the food came it looked pleasant but all of it was cold...The fajitas, the steak my husband ordered, the sauteed vegetables, the rice, and charro beans all cold! I requested a new bowl of beans and the beans they brought me were cold as well..We came to visit for the view, I guess that is what we should have stuck with...We payed a total of 80 bucks for cold food....The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the view...The food was trash.
