Good family run supermarket in new building. Feels clean and fresh.

Super very poor as a grocery store ... the same as it used to be at the corner of Ste Marguerite ... grocery store in an old poor neighborhood which has a lot of trouble adapting to an improving neighborhood.

Not that much variety and expensive but great quality.

Portion of poutine tiny chicken meal for the price .. Looks like an appetizer ... Jaurais take a picture!

Interactions with customers to improve and a lot. We don't have to buy from you; we are customers!

It's ok if you're close by, but not the best IGA. If an article is on sale you can be sure there won't be any left on the shelf by Sunday.

Good store for groceries etc and the interior decoration awesome

Some shelves stay empty too long. I often have to go buy my milk elsewhere for example.

It's ok for some things. Bit expensive for others. Lacking with the produce section. Go down the street 10 minutes and hit up Super C and the Atwater market instead.

The only problem I have with this place is that I find it expensive. Other then that it has really good veggies and fruits. Large variety of everything. Friendly staff etc

Never enough cashiers and you must double check expiry dates every time.

Poorly managed grocery store. More expensive than, say Super C, yet still has a limited selection of items. Cannot handle the annoying alarm panel sound which has been ongoing for over a year.

I was looking for tamari sauce, because I had been unable to find it at 2 leading competitors and didn't go to an Asian market. Now I will try to make a seitan roast using all the required ingredients!

One of the worst ... not maintained, no service ... go somewhere else

Constantly a disappointing experience when going to this IGA. Prices on many items are not shown and also, prices are rarely correct on the items where the price is displayed. At the end of every visit, at least one item I buy is not the correct price; I end up getting the item for free but it is quite a hassle. Also, the selection of produce is extremely small. Looking forward to the management of this establishment improving as this is the only grocery store walking distance from my home.

Been shopping here for 7 years because I live a block away. Constant rotation of new staff means people don t know where things are and cashiers are slow. A few excellent staff who have been around for a while, but rarely are the staff pleasant and sometimes they are flat out rude. Overall it s not a great store. Quality is poor and prices are high. But I guess Topetta is raking it in.

To add insult to injury they give residents of the neighbourhood a hard time when we park in the lot despite the fact that it s always empty and we spend a lot of $ there.

Little variety in the beer department. Boucherie uninspired (and too often closed)

Last Saturday was the last time I went to the IGA Toppetta on Notre-Dame. For some time, they have been "laughing" at their customers. All they care about is their wallet. Their price display is often confusing. For example, last week, when we arrived at the checkout, we were surprised that their tomatoes announced with a big sign at 0.99 were rather at 1.99. Those at 0.99 were on the other side of the island very far from the big poster which presented them at 0.99 (see attached photo): a vicious practice which must be denounced. They are often out of stock for their specials. The aisles are cluttered with boxes on the ground to fill the displays in addition to the displays put up everywhere to spice up our obstacle course.

This week, we changed to the nearby Metro: what a difference! The staff are attentive, the aisles are clean and clear to make our shopping experience pleasant, the choice is varied, the prices are well indicated and accurate.

To give you an example of the difference: the cashier we had today at the Metro had separated and prepared his little plastic bags for products that could leak so that it would go faster and he was putting our products "at risk" "straight away (we didn't have to ask as I often do at IGA Toppetta); each container for raspberries, tomatoes, blueberries had received an elastic at the box; he was dedicated to getting our products across and being efficient, not talking to the packer as if we weren't there; the packer was there when we arrived at the checkout; he carefully placed our products in the bag. No, really, day and night.

However, I would like to thank the exceptions with whom we did business regularly (we will miss them): the two fishmongers and the lady at the cheese and charcuterie counter.

Very bof IGA.... Staff often looks bored. Convinient location I find.

They must be ashamed to put rotten fruits on their shelves for such exorbitant prices. In addition, put the meat in small bags at the checkout must be systematic ... I arrive at home with bloody groceries because Miss the cashier has not made the effort necessary! I would not say the name but the customer must warn him every time to do his job properly!

Near selection isn't great but decent sales and convenient location.

Pay attention to the meat, especially the disappointing chicken

Very nice grocery store well located we find everything we need the food is fresh and the employees are very courteous, there are delicious dishes to prepare, a bakery and a pastry shop that make very good desserts there is also the possibility of a car service so that you do not have to take your purchases yourself .... hat

Very very dirty kitchen, microwave and bathroom, not now very big change with the new owners.

Surprised they get away with such markups. Possibly one of the most expensive grocers on the island.

Great, it's a nice grocery store for locals. Cashiers are nice. Free coffee.

The prices at this supermarket are offensively high. Produce isn't even among the freshest.

The fishmonger is excellent, but the fruits and vegetables are often not very fresh despite their appearances, and it is common to come across an expired product.

Worst supermarket in town.They never have enough cash register open. They have 2-3 open at 7pm during the week, its a joke. No choices, and lots of empty shelves.

This place is the worst. There are some mean people and management that doesn t seem to care. Refuse to shop there.

This IGA never respects the price accuracy policy when necessary. It has often happened that the product did not pass at the right price indicated at the checkout, and each time, I get a different reason and foolish not to give me the product without charge (when the amount of the product is lower at $ 10). It's a lack of professionalism. In addition, the service is often very slow at checkouts.

Lots of parking and not overly busy for a Montreal gocery store. They have a nice fish counter. It's not a huge IGA, but yoy can find pretty much all you need.

Decent beer sales, pricey veggies , good for late night food runs, but always has only 1 or two lanes ipen and long lines

Good selection of products, good location, discreet but courteous staff. Always clean.

Medium small grocery size. The selection of products is correct but the fruits and vegetables are most of the time not fresh. Try to avoid during the week from 6 to 8pm as they seem to be understaffed. There seems to be a very limited number of small shopping baskets because you always have to go to the cashiers to try to find one.

It's got a ton of stuff, but it's fairly busy and a little cramped.

I am not happy with this store. Produce is old and very overpriced. I bought Ted Prince apples for 6$! Only to take then home and found they were bad and old. I mean WEEKS old. I was able to return them. I will not go to this store again.

Meat department, expired ham turned brownish and expired couscous the foam when you open it awful rotates engaged competent and not lazy world, employees don't even look at you when you ask them for info no smile. DON'T LIKE YOUR QUIETTTTT JOB

The worst of IGAs. Empty rays, very few choices, a real disappointment.

Hands down the worst supermarket I've had the misfortune of living near. Unfortunately, I'm really extremely close, so I shop there nonetheless, but the management is dishonest and rude, and pretty obviously focused on cutting costs wherever possible and ripping you off if they think they can get away with it.

Their "buy X, get Y free" offers are often misleading and not honoured. Ironically, given their slogan, the produce is very rarely fresh, yet priced similarly to what you'd get at the Atwater market. One time, I bought a package of chicken there which claimed to have been packaged the same day, yet smelled clearly spoiled once I got it home and got the plastic off.

The one positive thing I can say is that they have a lot of stuff on sale at any given point and at their most steeply discounted, the prices can be okay. Likewise, there's usually some reasonably fresh vegetables to be had, just not necessarily the ones you want. So if you're the type of shopper to buy whatever's on sale and whatever happens to be fresh, then it's okay... but if you go in with a specific list of things you need, you're likely to pay too much and get bad quality.

Shelves often not restocked. Several times now I've gone and things on my list have been missing.

I wanted to work here several times since it is located behind my house. I have done several interviews and you have never called me back. But would it still be possible to do another interview at these times please?

Watch those prices! Half the time they get prices wrong.

Wide variety of prepared foods,great deli counter,employees are polite & helpful plus they bag your groceries for you.

Very pricey and not very clean. Although it is the closest to me, I usually just go to super c on Atwater street

Tablet, fridge, freezer often empty it looks like they will not close too much variety either.

It's not the best but it's big and unfortunately it's the only one nearby.

Roasted chicken was great. Nice crispy skin. The half chicken meal: fries, bbq sauce and small coleslaw, was under 9$

Great place to shop. A lot of variety along with great pricing. Above all, very friendly and courteous staff members!

Worst delivery service ever. They give you a time and deliver 5-6 hours late (that's if they didn't cancel your delivery) basically kills your day and waste your time. What's worse than that is their AWFUL customer service. Very rude people handle their customers phone calls. Not ordering (or buying) anything from here that's for sure.
