We found the Ale House after we landed at the airport so we decided to eat before we checked in to the hotel. We weren t disappointed. Staff was friendly and food delicious. Consequently we returned there before we went to the airport to leave. Good time was had for all!
Good food, good service, only problem is that they forgot the cheese on my burger (just missed 5 stars because of this and I even wrote it down). But the burger tasted so good that I didn't even notice until I was half way done with it. The wife loved the assorted appetizers but be prepared to spend a little money .
A sushi bar / sports bar wrapped into one. A good place to catch the game with some friends, or just some downtime to enjoy a few drinks over some pupus. Good service and good food.

Waitstaff was very inattentive. Hostess did not acknowledge us and another customer after passing by us at least 3 times. The waitstaff stood around talking amongst themselves instead of checking on their customers. We had to get up and ask for drink refills. If it wasn't for the good food those ladies would have to find another job. We would not go back if we lived in the area.
It's stepped up a lot since I was last visiting. A true sports bar!
ROACHES.... I visited this place while being on a business trip. Reviews seem great right? Myself and business partner were excited to stop by. The atmosphere is very lively but as soon as my business partner started eating her salad a large roach comes crawling out. The only response we received was "o I'm sorry, I'll take this off your bill" the manager in duty had no customer service skills and clearly didnt know how to properly handle a infestation. (You know if you see one crawling around then theres thousands more) Highly disappointed.

Amazing they have free side items for a limited time, go as soon as possible to enjoy all of these great pupus(aka side items) for the price of zero. I strongly recommend tipping your server for the best experience!
This is a good sport bar. I usually get very good attention, but last time I went I waited almost an hour for the sushi server to come. By the time she came we have already finished our food.
Very disappointed about that.
Besides that, great spot in the heart of Kahului.

Great tap list and typical pub fare. Nachos were abundant, Always lots of waitresses but aloooof and distracted service, pool tables all busted or off kilter and waaaaay too close to the windows so you can make an easy buck sharking a weak tourist.
There is a big guy who plays guitar after sports on Sunday. He has tbe voice of an angel and the smile of a cherub

I met a friend at the Ale House to watch the Monday Night Football Game, where our Las Vegas Raiders beat the New Orleans Saints. I enjoyed a few sushi and sashimi platters as pupus and everything was delicious.
A regular place, lots of TV. Staff are not attentive, but friendly. The second time I went. I arrived at 10p. Couldn't order till 1030. The kitchen refused to make our food cuz it's 1045 now. They did buy our drinks. Went to IHOP.
Tried to get a table at 230 pm during an UFC fight day- was told maybe 20-30 minutes maybe even more wait even though there were TONS of empty table. Hostess didn't actually attempt to seat us until 40 minutes later. Bar service is more dependable so we sat there. Ordered Calamari- WAY too much breading and pieces were small. Mozzarella sticks great but Buffalo wings are awesome!! Definitely wouldn't order the Calamari and sit at a table but great service at the bar.
This is an extremely loud sports bar. 4+ TVs on different channels at full volume (including a Larry King infomercial?!). The food was fine. They were out of several draft beers.

I saw a fat Hawaiian Lady slap her autistic son in his face. While I was on a vacation in Maui. And I told the manager of the establishment and they said we don't tell the madas of the island how to raise dey kids. If they like slave em that's fine by me. And gave me ugly look. So if they think its OK I can imagine how the children on the whole islands. And as I walked away mumble something like hollie. And laughed..

Just what I needed after pork, pork, pork on this island. They have really good wedges and the mushrooms Swiss burger was great. Also they turkey club my wife had looked great too. They accommodated all the request we made. They also have lots of TV's for sports and great service.

Got a table that was wiped down with a smelly rag so all we smelled was dirty feet. 10 min later we were asked what we wanted to drink. 20 min later the first drink was delivered. Decided not to order dinner. Felt like we were being treated that way because we weren't locals. Only bad service we had on the island.

3 stars-So sad this last time we went. Food was good, except for my saimin. Sent first bowl back. Second bowl was even worse. Wanted to eat it, so bad. Soup tasted great. Lots of stuff in it. Just to bad they didn't cook the noodles. Fresh noodles or not, noodles need to be cooked for at least 3 minutes in a separate pot of hot water. Advice for the cook, go to Ramen Ya and sit by the kitchen and watch and learn and take notes on how to cook noodles. Or you can maybe read a cook book or better yet Google or YouTube it...
Too expensive for bar food. Been going here for years. It seems each year the portions get smaller and the prices get higher

Visiting Maui and needed a place to watch the Stanley Cup finals. The Ale House perfectly met those needs. The fish and chips were tasty, local beer was cold, the game was on every television, and the customers were friendly to one another.
Went here to watch the MLS cup on 11/10/19 @10am and they didn't have it on. Asked one of the servers if they would be willing to put it on just ONE of the many screens. She went to the back and asked and came back and told me no. Kinda disappointing that they have roughly 50 TV's and I can't watch the domestic league soccer final because a regular season NFL game is on and every TV is on that.
It was ok but a little disappointing for the price. I had the teriyaki burger with onion rings. Burger over done nice seasoning small pineapple piece and I paid extra for onion rings and got only 4.
I went to this restaurant on 9/13/15 before flying back to my hometown, first of all it is super loud with music. I have a speech impedement and the waitresses could not understand me nor hear me due to the loudness in the restaurant I kept saying Coca Cola! But the waitress kept saying "what?" The booths were small It felt like I was being squashed. I ordered the pizza and it tasted like it came out of a totinos box. I came here to watch the Cowboys game. Thats why I gave it 2 stars.
Food was good, service could be a little better considering it was lunchtime and the place wasn't busy. But overall pleasantly surprised. Last time I was there was years ago and never had the desire to go back. However, after this visit I may consider a return visit.
The food was good but we had some issues with the wait staff. First we sat at a table for six and a table for 4 but she counted us as a table for 10 and give us all the mandatory 18% gratuity. Then the menu we ordered off was old and the prices had gone up so when the check came it was higher than the cost we saw on the menu. That turned what should have been a simple fix into a major ordeal for the waitress and the manager as to whether they should charge us for the price we saw on the menu or not. Then it took a full 30 minutes to check out of the restaurant from the time we identified the error. So it marred an otherwise enjoyable visit.

Bad service. Its 10:22 pm when we arrived at the restaurant. Sat down at the bar for almost five minutes. I can see a guy bartender counting the registers cash and waiting for him to ask me what drink do I want. Then 10:28 pm, a girl bartender came and told us they're done for the night. They already did a last call. So we have to go. Before we came to this restaurant, I searched for their hours on google. It says they open until 11pm. And even though that's wrong, and they close at 10:30 pm... 8 mins before 10:30 pm they rejected us already. We're just planning to have 1 round before going back to lahaina and we can see people almost half of the restaurant still there. I dont understand why??
Pork sliders were good. Beer selection is good. Service leaves something to be desired.
Sports bar and grill with tv monitors everywhere and at lest 7 satellite feeds. Friendly wait staff to take your order promptly. I will come again if I'm back in the area
$12.75 for a horrible no good very bad cadillac margarita. Worst margarita Iv ever had, extremely sugary. Not recommended. I also would not recommend the meat pizza either. LOTS of ground beef, it tasted more like a cheeseburger.

Worst place to play pool. No room at all. Maybe if they got rid of one of the pool tables they could make a little more room for the other two. Cramming 3 pool tables into that little space makes it almost impossible to play.
We were looking for a place to sit down and eat before boarding our 7 hour flight from Kahului to Denver and were very happy to find d you open and serving. Everything appeared to be clean and welcoming and the food hit the spot...Mohalo!

My mom and I were visiting family that live in Maui.My daughter owns the Benjamin Moore paint store in town..we loved this place..very clean and very good air conditioning...it was a very hot 10 days in Maui. The food tasted very fresh not reheated like some other places we tried...lots of tvs for sports and a bar with lots of beer on tap...oh and reasonable prices...you should give it a try for sure

Came in on Sunday morning, even for a Sunday this place was busy! Got a seat at the bar, lots of beer on tap and I mean lots of beer. The bartender was very nice and recommend a lot of tasty beer! My girlfriend and I decided to split a turkey club, the bartender was very nice and courtesy to pre split our food for us. Even for a busy day great service, good better and yummy food! Everyone seems very on top of it all. Great place!

Went with 3 friends to Ale House! They we're a little busy, but service was fine! We split some dishes among outselves. Their Cob salad is wonderful. Along with that we had onion rings and chicken tenders/ teriyaki flavored (not the correct name for them, but I can't remember the name). We were able to sit in an alcove with a large table and booth seats which made it nice for talking amongst ourselves. Very glad we went to Ale House!!
Visiting from Canada, incredible food, clean, and fast service. Happy to see they had hockey on one of the screens. Fish and chips, mozzarella sticks and chips and homemade salsa delicious!!
