We are at intermission of The Music Man. Stupendous and always a wonderful time.

Fabulous casting and plays. Great outdoor setting and all seats have a wonderful view.

We saw Hunchback from Notre Dame. It was mesmerizing! I've been to the globe theatre in San Diego, many times. In comparison this is every bit as good, if not better! Beautiful outdoor facility. First rate production & talent.

The setting is beautiful and intimate, with nature and amphitheatre in good balance.

Had out of town relatives with us. They loved everything about the experience.

I came on a whim while in Boise for the weekend. The show was sold out but we managed to get tickets when we showed up... front row. We saw the show misery, which was amazing and hilarious. Such a cool venue!

Great venue, great actors, great location, great food - great time!

Super fun swanky place to go for a great evening. Professional productions. Good food for purchase or bring your own. Fancy picnics are recommended.

ISF has gone the way of Hollywood politics. If you want a dose of politicized "Art", go ahead and have at it. But if you would rather leave the politics to blathering talking heads, stay at home and do something more enjoyable, like having a good conversation, something Shakespeare might have enjoyed.

Always have a good time and enjoy all the shows. Talented crew and actors.

Quality production in an outdoor theatre. Shakespeare with a twist

Great place to watch a good selection of annually rotated plays. Staff are friendly and helpful and the acting is top notch. Weather can be an issue, but most times you cannot beat watching a wonderful production under the stars.

This outdoor theater gives you a lovely taste of Idaho life. Bring your own wine, a blanket, and a sweater. Very professional and worth every penny.

We always love attending ISF in their beautiful, outdoor ampitheatre. This time we saw Mama Mia and it was incredible! Wonderful cast and music! Probably the best we have seen. Take your picnic basket, low-back lawn chairs and enjoy!

Theatre was beautiful and so was the performance we attended of Stephen King s Misery. They need a better system for the lawn seating, however. People do not keep to the low-seating chairs, which makes it hard to see if you didn t bring a chair and just a blanket. Some people take up waaaay too much room as well.

We saw MacBeth and it was a wonderful experience. The audience was very polite and did speak over any part of the play. The food court was most scrumteous! The play was very entertaining from start to finish.

Some of the best entertainment in Boise! Small and pretty outdoor amphitheater, setting near the river, good food and drink available!

Had a wonderful time at the hunchback of nortradom. Seats were horrible with a pole in front to block part of the stage, but very nicely done.

Came here while vacationing in idaho to see Beehive. It was seriously an amazing experience. The 6 girls who put on this show were very talented and really brought you back to the 60s (Not that I was even born then). I can't wait to move up here so I can go to more of these shows. Thank you for giving me a great night with friends and for taking me away from my stressful life if even for one night.

My wife and I have been to numerous productions. We love and appreciate the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and what it means to Boise!

I'm not really into watching plays, but I had to support my stepson. The stage is a really nice setup.

I look forward to these all year. I love the front lawn seats. So fun seeing the faces up close. Bring some cheese, crackers, wine, fruit, etc. And get your tickets in advance since they sell out fast! Great experience. I'd see every play if I could afford it. When I graduate college and start my career this will be one of the things I budget for.

Beautiful outdoor setting, great acoustics, awesome performances. Why it's not five stars is because the hill at the back to spread out your blankets is pretty steep. Guess I'll have to bring/rent a chair next time.

We had a work retreat here last fall. The campus is really beautiful and the staff was friendly. The buildings are a bit chilly at first, due to the windows, but the views are worth it. A great place to host an event or an off-site meeting.

The plays are always fantastic. The actors always do a great job.

We enjoy going and seeing plays each summer. We have started getting season tickets. We either get a meal there (it is always really good) or we pack a small cooler with dinner and snacks. We usually end up getting some dessert there during intermission. Try not to drink to much, the line for the restrooms is horrible during the intermission, instead get in line for dessert it is much faster.

This was a great experience. It wa as the first play I have been to besides school. Obviously this blew them out of the water. I am very impressed. I will definitely be attending more thank you.

It's a beautiful place just to go to visit it has trails that take you down near the river and of course the plays are always wonderful they have earphones if you need them to hear better and are always friendly

The only thing keeping them from getting a five is the traffic when it's time to leave. Need someone guiding traffic flows when the show ends.

I have been to their plays multiple times. It's a beautiful location next to the river. You can tell the actors love what they do because they are so good.

Great show. Wait Until Dark is a good show, not one of the best I have seen here, but still a very well produced thriller.

Wonderful every year and a true Idaho event for summer. Do not miss a wonderful night, wonderful food and wonderful atmosphere.

All I can say is WOW. I was super impressed with everything about the Shakespeare Festival. The location was fantastic! And no matter where you sit, you have a good view. (unless you are stuck in the very back lawn seating behind a post) Which I totally recommend any of the general lawn seating. It's so fun to be able to bring snacks, drinks, blankets and just hang out for the 1.5 before. I recommend arriving right when they open if you don't have assigned seats. We saw the Hunchback of Notre Dame and I wish I could afford to go more often! My husband was skeptical and even he loved it.

Gorgeous venue along the Boise River. Well maintained and well-designed. Good flows to the area. Good parking access. High quality performers including actors and musicians. Top rate theatrical venue. Certainly worth a visit even if there are no shows. Unfortunately this should be called Idaho Outdoor Theater not the Shakespeare Theater or Festival as they only produced and performed Shakespeare play this year.

Many a great play has been performed here. The lawn seats are the best for seeing the expressions of the actors. Chairs are cheaper and a bit more comfortable. The upper lawn is all the way in the back and you can lay down but I don't think they are worth it. I have not had box seats, those are expensive.

Absolutely great show! Such a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go next year!

Pride and Prejudice was excellent. Beautiful evening in a lively location. I recommend volunteering. I'd never done it before. It was fun.
