Nobody answers the phone at the box office - ever!!! Tried to change tickets and no answer 2 days in a row and it was during the run of a production!

Apalling! Frustrating! Unprofessional!

I love seeing the Christmas Carol every year , I see the play at least 2 to 3 times in December and bring friends its a wonderful and great cast ,just never can get anyone to answer the phone there ,Why would you have a phone number to reach the Virginia Stage Company if no one is not going to answer the phone. Thank You For The Christmas Carol

Professional performers, wonderful stage and great frendly, open dialogue after performance q&a. They let kids ask all kinds of questions, they answered them with such kind grace

Beautiful venue, not a bad seat in the house. Loved their rendition of pride and prejudice so much I saw it twice!!

I recently attended the theatre and saw "The Other Place" It truly was as thriller and fast paced. The plot was wonderful and the acting very satisfactory and believable. I have absolutely no complaints in this area. However, the "F' word was used so many times unnecessarily. After it was shouted the 3rd time, it became like sandpaper grating on my ear. I actually winced each time it was uttered. It should not be necessary to riddle a play or movie or comedic routine with constant profanity to make the theme adult. This was also true in the play about the 2 friends who went mountain climbing and go stranded - so much cursing. I have enjoyed the Virginia Stage Company for over 6 years. I love the theatre and the variety of plays performed and the reasonable cost. Unfortunately I will have to be more proactive and go beyond the published synopsis and inquire of the box office about the profanity. There is a history of brilliant, entertaining adult themed drama plays that does not have profanity. I don't want the profanity to be more memorable than the performances. I hope this is not going to be norm of future productions.

Great variety of plays. I see both children's theater of hampton roads and have season tickets for the regular plays. I've been going to the regular plays for 13 years.

The Legend of Georgia McBride is a fantastic show!! Performers are great! Hilarious Musical Comedy at its best as it subtly conveys a wise life lesson as well.

Loved the production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL... A MUST SEE!!!

A wonderful time everyone show. We park at McCarther Center and make the quick walk. The wings are hard to sit in but fun.

Attending the Christmas Carol is a family tradition and always a favorite. The renovations are a great compliment to a wonderful venue. Highly recommend going at any time of year, you won't be disappointed.

Enjoy the variety of shows and the actors, both local and from other venues.
