Detailed and individual assessment, they take the time they need to do things accurately. There is no rush, you can opt for retinal pictures if you want, there is no sales pitch, they genuinely want what is best for you, and they know how to provide it. I cannot recommend this optician enough.

Extremely quick (next day) turn around for a lens change and lovely staff. I wouldn t use another service, thank you !!

I was late for my appointment and they kindly waited. Very help, professional and friendly.

My daughter required an emergency appointment during the initial lock down in 2020 and Icon gave me an appointment immediately whereas there were considerably delays with a much larger well-known optician.

The optician was very friendly, knowledgeable and spent extra time in ensuring he fully checked my daughter's eyes.

The frames and lens were provided promptly.

Since then we have had a follow up and my young son has now also been fully tested.

Icon is a friendly and caring opticians and will to go an extra mile to ensure the patience are cared for.

As soon as you enter the store, you can feel the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the store is beautifully designed. I have been wearing glasses for over 15 years, i have been to many opticians but I have only first time really enjoyed choosing my glasses. The team is pleasant, passionate in their job and very dedicated. Amjad took his time to show me his selection of beautiful and high quality frames, i didn t at any point felt rushed while trying on several pairs. Amjad was being an excellent and professional advisor, when you meet him you can tell he really has years of knowledge regarding frames and lenses. He offers you frames that really suits your features, lifestyle and personality.I can not imagine going to another optician now. My glasses really highlight my face and style and I love them! I believe ICON is the best store to choose your glasses from and I highly recommend it.

Amazing place! Great and proffesional staff, high quality frames

About a month ago I had a painful reaction in my eyes after wearing contact lenses. I phoned Icon, and after explaining what had happened they urged me to come and visit for a check (they even got me an appointment on the same day). I am familiar with visits at the optician but I have to admit I have never had my eyes so thoroughly examined! The care and time and attention to detail that Mehdii gave was beyond anything I have ever experienced in my life. It turned out I had a corneal ulcer and Mehdii explained it was a delicate matter and urged me to start immediately the treatment he prescribed. Mehdii explained that the ulcer was potentially related to a recurring problem I have with dry eyes and suggested products and procedures for me. After a few days I returned to check that the antibiotic treatment for the ulcer was working. I can almost hear Mehdii's voice while he was telling me 'thank God you phoned, this is something that needs to be taken care of straight away'. Luckily the ulcer was cured and since then I have seen him regularly to check on my progress. Again I cannot stress enough the great level of care and attention that I have received. I was so relieved that the ulcer was not there anymore and very pleased with the care Mehdii had given me.
I have taken my daughter to Icon optician for a number of years now and I knew how brilliant both Mehdii and Amjad have been with her but my personal corneal ulcer story has pushed me to write this review, to tell others how incredibly well I have been treated at Icon by Mehdii and Amjad.

Went there for my son s glasses after previously using Specsavers and Vision Express. Friendly and professional service, had a wide range of options and his glasses arrived within a couple of days.

I ll definitely be going there for my eye test too. Would absolutely recommend.

Really excellent care. My family and I have been having our eyes tested here for many years and we have always had very thorough and careful eye tests with all the latest equipment available. Very reassuring and professional and I could not fault the care in any way and I would highly recommend Icon.

Went for an eye check up for my young child. They were patient and made him feel at ease before doing a very detailed check up of his eyes. Will be going back for a follow up in 6 months time !

The staff at Icon are exceptionally competent, all Moorfields trained thus providing the best care possible. All their equipment is state of the art. Just as importantly they are welcoming, friendly and offer bespoke care according to your needs.
The range of frames is great! And there are discounts they remind you of for children, as well as the free check ups. I can wholeheartedly recommend them as the best opticians we ve used for myself and the whole family. There s the added bonus of getting a cuddle with their gorgeous resident dog, Oscar too!

Was worried about going for an eye test due to covid but received excellent service. Just needed glasses in the end but the health of my eyes was checked thoroughly. Optometrist very very professional, knowledgeable and made me feel extremely safe. She wore full PPE and didn t allow other people in the practice whilst I was having my test. Very impressed and reassured.

Neri and Joanna are wonderful. The owner (Amjad Butragueno) on the other hand, is exceptionally rude and deeply unpleasant. He's a bully. He tried to sell my child with Down's Syndrome a totally unsuitable frame (it was far too big for his face), he picks random costs out of the air and then when you query them, he turns on you, tells you to go away and to never come back. When you ask him if he speaks to all his customers like that, he says 'I think you need to learn how to speak'. He shoved the bag of sweets he was holding at his temporary optometrist so he could 'deal with me', and I've since learnt that he's lost customers and optomotrists because of his attitude and the way he treats people. The man doesn't deserve any business.

I have found this firm quite excellent in all their dealings with me over a period of 10/15 years.
One receives close personal attention and the quality of their product is first class.
I shall continue to do business with them into the future with great pleasure.
