Lovely buffet breakfast - staples and local delights. Neat rooms, friendly & helpful staff and you're in the centre of all the local food eateries right next to a Chinese and Indian temple and a quick grab ride away from all the hustle and bustle. Food is no probs as there's plenty to eat around there, Bugis + with amazing shopping and a Cineplex and a dog cuddling cafe too and "what to eat" delivers to the hotel! Definitely coming back !

great location! there is a bus stop in front of the lobby. city shuttle is available to/from the airport, which costs sgd9 per person. minutes walk to 2 mrt stations - bugis and bencoolen. 7-11 seconds walk away from the lobby, which is open 24/7. market, shops and restaurants are just minutes walk away from the hotel.

had a comfortable stay. beds are comfortable. aircon was easy to use and efficient. nice view of the city. had an ironing board and iron available in my room. I wasn't able to hear the noise in the corridor, which is a good thing. room wasn't very small, it was acceptable and comfortable. free wi-fi is great! fast and easy to use. free breakfast was delicious.

downside: lack of amenities in the room. tiny fridge that can hold up to 3-500ml bottles, no water bottle available. have to get it from the lobby for a loan or as fee, replenishment of the water is available on the 3/f. TV is tiny but very reliable and easy to use. no slippers! no tissue box in the room, but available in the washroom. no hairbrush available too. limited supply of towels are available. but if you need those amenities, you can purchase it from 7-11, which is seconds walk from the lobby.

Friendly staff at check-in. We arrived at 9:00am (departure from a cruise); knowing that check-in wouldn't be available till the afternoon, we planned to leave our luggage for storage. Travelling with my parents, we had booked two separate rooms. Reception informed us that two twin rooms were available; while I didn't mind being put into a twin, my parents wanted a queen bed for their stay. We decided to check into one of the available rooms, so that our luggage could be stored / we could rest until a queen room became available.

My parents and I went up to the room to rest, and at 10:00am, we received a phone call informing us that the second room was available. Realising that we were travelling as a family, the staff were kind enough to find a room on the same floor.

Very pleased with the service provided in this regard.

Rooms very neat and clean, housekeeping came by every morning which was great.

Convenient location, easy walking distance to shopping malls and eateries, 7-Eleven downstairs for those midnight essentials.

Personnel are cooperative & supportive. The room facilities was always clean, that's what I like best. There is a small problem which you can correct, as I check on the webpage listing of available hotels. I see the rate for Airport-Hotel transfer is $SGD 20, but I am charged $ SGD65.00. It is not clear also, the room rate, it says breakfast included but I pay everyday~$SGD 14.00, on top of my room rate.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location.
We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful.
They were even kind enough to surprise us with flowers in our room to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
I would also like to personally thank Jeto and Dash for the way they were so friendly and professional looking after us in the dining room. Where the food was very nice.

The staff at the reception were good, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was delicious, the location conditions were good, such as close to the station and tourist spots, and it was not very expensive, so I was very satisfied. However, the breakfast menu was the same every day, and the last one got a little tired. I think it would be even better to have chicken rice unique to Singapore.

The staffs were very helpful and friendly especially Vicky and Ramesh.
A wide variety of menu for breakfast and lunch. They even helped provide me and my friend a room after checking out for prayer and BF session.
And not forgeting the strategic location, culinary, souvenir and cultural experience. Thank you Ibis Bencoolen!

This is almost a budget hotel located near the city centre. It is situated near major shopping malls, the electronic haven (SIM Lim Square), the infamous Bugis Street and the famous Temple (khuan Im temple). The hotel room is clean, bedsheets are fresh. Except for a few minor flaws which may be overlooked by the hotel, it is quite a nice stay. Bring your own water bottle to get refill of sparkling water / still water or loan a bottle from the restaurant. The WiFi is fast! I mean really fast. You can browse the web in the lobby. There is a convenient store right next to the hotel entrance. You can eat in at the store. The hotel serves breakfast as early as 3am and all the way to 12pm. Different varieties of breakfast menu for different time slots. The ambience is quite relaxing. Last but not least, it is very accessible to major tourist attractions. The hotel provides free shuttle service to some locations.

I have been staying there since 2010-2011 and I found no obvious changes of up and down. I think this is my 7th time stay at your hotel. Especially I really like your location of hotel where near by my head office as well as my business net work and restaurants and food court as well. Basically ibis can be recognized very cozy and compact for me. Sure I intend to stay there in future too. Thanks

Good hotel overall that we recommend. Rooms were comfortable. Although the rooms definitely need some renovation and update. The TV for example was so old and small pretty much useless.
Very well located in Bugi Area.

The content of the facility is high compared to the same brand hotel in other countries, but it is reasonably priced in Singapore. With the increasing number of non-smoking hotels in recent years, this is a valuable smoking floor hotel.

At 10.20pm on 14/9/19 needed to make a local call but unable to do so from my room. Upon enquiry staff (MAS) insisted that I had to make SGD50 deposit at reception counter as I will be charged SGD1 for the call. Bear in mind I had fully paid for my 2-night stay, yet the hotel cannot trust to bill me even for a SGD1 call and made me jump out of bed to the reception counter. What sort of hospitality! In the first place, a deposit was not even requested during initial check-in. To rub salt to the wound, Mas offered to waive the SGD1 after I insisted to make the 1 minute call at front desk. I refused! If she had discretionary authority, why was it not applied right from the beginning? Mas did not even an apology.

Very Expensive, No room service, Very Small beds and rooms, they did not clearly mentioned that breakfast was included or not. No drinking water was provided. They blocked my credit card for $500 and did not unblock after checkout in time. They mentioned it will take 10 days. I would never recommend anyone to stay in such a hotel.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Singapore. I stayed in November 2018 for a family vacation and found it to be a great place. The location is superb with proximity to 3 mrt stations and a 7/11 next door. Excellent bed and hot shower. Just what you need after a tiring day of roaming around. Dont think just book this.

Food was decent, although selection at the dinner was rather small for a vegetarian. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed my time there, but room for improvement was evident. Note that menu was selected by organisation, and I had not much options from the buffet.

We used for three nights. I'm a type of toilet that's clean, quiet, and not buggy. (I think Korean pensions look more steamy.) Simple was good. You don't want to choose this hotel anyway, and everyone should be able to talk to Marina Bay Sands or any other 4-5 star hotel for the price. Usually, accommodation is usually reserved to sleep and wake up. Ibis Bencoolen was happy to have a conversation with Korean staff. The room was in good condition, no noise and soundproof. Soundproofing doesn't seem to go well in the hallway. There was no noise in the room and the radiation, and as I walked down the hall, I could hear the sound of singing and sound coming from the other room. If you hang it for cleaning, you did a good job. Downtown Line Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. The bus stop was right in front of the hotel, so there was no problem with traffic. Singapore is so small that I don't think there are any problems with transportation. Little India, Arab Street, and Chimes were all within walking distance. Breakfast was relatively inexpensive and I ate with the idea that I had only one day to experience. Yakunkayana toast boxes are right in front of you so you can enjoy them there or at a nearby food center. We used 7-Eleven right next to the hotel. I would like to recommend it to other people and I want to use this place if I go to Singapore again.
