Food was perfect...
I had a corned beef Reben, as did my daughter, and my sister enjoyed a pastrami and corned beef sandwich. They were all quite delicious.I would order from them again.

Friendly and homey, bread is baked in house, deli meat selection and quality is great. Everything you could want in a Jewish diner is yours. Prices fairly reflect quality and service, so don't expect to save. I also love the takeout options upon checkout, love buying some cookies for the road. Come here for Thursday dinner, weekend brunch, after dinner desserts. Parking limited and limited disAbled parking out front.

Last year I gave Hymie's 3 stars, focusing on the positives of their quirky chachkes and experienced staff. This year, they've been consistently weak. Just, awful customer service. I get take out here once a month and every time it's the same exercise in patience. They never have my order ready. They don't know anything about that order, in fact. This is the first they're hearing of it. It'll be ready in five minutes. Twenty minutes later, it's ready - but I have to check the bags to confirm. Just a sad, sad quagmire Yeah of anemic mediocrity.

When's Hymie's gonna start caring?

Love Hymies! The food is always delicious and the service is usually excellent except for a few times when they re especially busy. I ve never had to wait much more than 20 minutes for a table. Only thing on the menu that leaves something to be desired are the salads. Pickle bar is a must. And make sure to check out the deli and packaged food you can take home with you!

We live not to far from here - heard about it for years - finally made it in a few weeks back. Pastrami Ruben is sooo good! Been back again and will be a regular. Love the free pickles, pasta and potato salad as well. Yum!

OMG! This is the Best Jewish deli on the main line. From real Lox to corn beef, eggs any way you like em, pancakes and all the traditional Jewish foods including the classic pickle bar.

The service and food and the menu are the Best. You will have to give your name and wait for a table because they are known across the main line as the Best and we show-up most Saturday or Sunday mornings. Like Fiddler on the roof - it s Tradition!

And, let s not forget the actual deli counter. There s another Best on the main line. The classic, what else... can be heard all day long. Couldn t love this place more. Im a classic real Lox, white fish and herring in cream sauce guy. There is no better place to get it then Hymie s period.
btw - my 25 yr old son makes three generations of excellent service and food. Thank you Hymie s :0)

I've always had a fantastic experience at Hymie's! Their service is excellent for breakfast, brunch, or anytime at all.
They very generously donated us a tray of sandwiches for a church event, really demonstrating their care for the local community.

Great food at a fair price. One of the best Jewish delis in the area. Great Matzah ball soup, challah french toast, and pastrami. Would prefer if the syrup was upgradable to a higher quality product. Free pickle bar is a great addition as well.

Absolutely delicious Jewish deli food. Sandwiches are stuffed and so good. Matzoh ball soup is another winner. Wait staff are friendly and efficient. I don't live close but am always willing to travel for a meal at Hymie's.

Hymie's is nothing to look at, but what do you expect from a deli? Service is adequate... agreeable and reasonably attentive. The pastrami was extremely lean and tasty... if you like it lean. Hymie's doesn't match New York's best deli restaurants, but it's as good as you're going to find in the greater Philly area.

Hymies is certainly the best jewish deli in the area. The turkey and blintzes are excellent, and all the other food is really good overall. We've tried the entire menu since we come here weekly. The store-baked cake freshness can be hit or miss. Cleanliness and service is ok.

Love the pickle bar! Food is consistent and delicious. The matza ball soup is one of my faves followed by the Belgium waffles! Breakfast is good. Good portions of food, sometimes too much food. Wait staff are always accommodating and I don't know if this one guy is the manager or the owner, but he talks to the customers and makes sure they are being taken care of. I love their baked goods. Overall a great place to eat in the neighborhood!
