Hyatt Richmond Hotel Review

Rooms are good size and clean. The staff was hospitable and helpful especially Andrea. Andrea went out of her way to make sure guest were happy. I will come back to this hotel.

I really enjoyed my visit to Hyatt Place located in thr Arboretum. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were quite clean and service was top notch. Honestly everything was far better than what i expected.

I can t say enough about this hotel! Everything was great! Large, clean rooms. Super comfortable beds, lots of room in the bathroom area! Did I mention clean? Thank you Hyatt Place!

Enjoyed my stay as always. Good service and good food.

Worst night of our trip. The luggage cart would barely roll with a struggle, the plugs were loose and lights kept randomly going out, one light switch was sparking electricity. There were no sheets for the pull out couch, no extra pillows, sheets were practically made of paper; just an overall bad experience! Having stayed the previous night at a Hyatt, we really expected more, this one just didn t meet even the smallest of expectations. I may be writing this on having had less than 2 hours of sleep... a little cranky, but rightly so!

Nice room, spacious, setup like efficiency apartment. Everything very clean, friendly staff. Bathroom was so small as to be nearly unusable, shower was rather cramped as well. Overall a positive experience, will stay here again if in the area.

Our stay was delightful, the bed was fantastic!! The staff was great and very helpful! We enjoyed the food, It was great having a 24/7 kitchen available to us. Our morning breakfast was quite nice.

The room and restroom are small, hair found on pillow and stain on sheet, strong WiFi. Breakfast is pretty good.

Inadequate staff waited much to long for food because one person taking orders, bartender and clerk. Last time at a Hyatt for me

This hotel is very nice. We love it. Just wish a microwave was in each room.

I have this place a chance on my travels only to find crispy uncomfortable sheets, a lack of wifi in my room and a very loud air conditioner in my room. It was a long day of driving so I just wanted to crash for the night.

Very nice spacious rooms, very clean, and convenient to everything. Very nice staff as well.

Great rooms! Really polite, friendly and accommodating staff. My only complaint is that they don't carry ear plugs! Our rooms were very nice. Lots of counter space and comfy beds. Extra blankets available on request. The complimentary breakfast was really nice. I was there too early for the skillets and hot food but it was very clean and a lot of different foods were available.

Fresh and clean, and Dunkin Donuts is right around the corner for a frugal breakfast.

The rooms were large and spacious, with everything you need. The TVs had a nice array of inputs built into the stand for easy access, which I appreciated. Breakfast was above average, with fresh cooked bacon, eggs and pancakes.

Great place...nice staff...allows dogs. We had a great stay!

Rooms are very spacious and have a good and functional layout. Concrete poured between the floors so no noise from room above. Breakfast is free but only 3/5 stars on the food and service at breakfast.

Booked king room and was given two double beds. Overall good hotel, breakfast is average.

Room was nice. We had a huge group have dinner in the lobby too, and they were very accommodating.

Clean, quiet, and helpful/kind staff. The first room we got had a broken pull out couch so we had to change rooms. They also didn't have linens in either room for the pull out couch, hence 4 stars rather than 5.

This is a very nice hotel with good clean rooms and wonderful customer service. I had no problems while staying there and would recommend it.

Staff was attentive and courteous. Walking distance to Starbucks, and given free access to gold's gym while you stay. Highly recommend this hotel!

We rented a King suite for one night. The room was gorgeous, and the staff was super friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

Location was great for the reason I was there. Staff was awesome and treated me like welcome family. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Sofa bed did block the door when it was pulled out. Couldn't exit the door in case of fire.

The room was dirty, bathroom floor was dirty. The coffee maker didn't work. Our dog pulled dirty socks from underneath the couch.(not ours) The breakfast was already cold at 7 am. The bagels were hard. I will not be staying at another Hyatt.

When I open the bed, a huge dead bed bug showed up. Totally freaked out.
But I was told there is no other room. So, had a lovely night worrying being bitten.

To start off, there was no strike plate in the door jam, to my dirty room, the shower was built wrong so water pools, and the bathroom door barely clears the toilet...its tiny, there was dust and hair all over, plus my coffee cups were dirty. The cups for juice were so hot, my o.j. was very warm. The bar is always dirty, and the staff could care less.
