My grandfather was a calling pastor at Montview. I used to go on Sundays with my grandparents. Their ashes are interred in the courtyard/meditation. The services always include a part where a parable is read specifically for the children attending and children may come up to the front of the sanctuaries for a story just for them. If you need someone to talk to my grandfather was always a good and kind listener and Rev. Havekost doesn't have much to do these days, he'll listen back there. He just won't be able to reply.

The best place to worship that invites a thoughtful approach.

Pastor Ian and Clover really put some time into the sermon and lesson. This isn't the bottled brimstone that one grows up on. This is something that is thought provoking, insightful, and heartfelt.

Sandy Prouty does an excellent job with the children's program that allows your kids also to think about their faith especially as it moves into youth group for middle schoolers and high schoolers.

There are two things I like about this church. First, the architecture. This is a church that has a storied past and the stone walls to show for it. The second is the people. You might have heard the expression chosen frozen used to describe a congregation. The people who sit there unmoved, stiffly saying in the most monotone way their beliefs. That isn't this church. They might not be talking in tongues or having visions, but they certainly are engaged in they're beliefs and yours. There's a solid divinity presented by their ministers and it sparks excitement among those. Come for the impressive edifice, stay for wonderful people.

I've been a member at Montview for 20 years. I was lured in by the fantastic children's programs but I've stayed because of a plethora of other wonderful programs. There are two robust youth groups (middle and high school) that go on annual work trips, a fantastic theater program that stages musicals every other fall, intimate supper clubs where you can really get to know others, fantastic music and thought-provoking sermons every Sunday and plenty of ways to get involved to help homeless women, inner city school children or immigrants here in Denver... or schools in Africa and Nepal. It has been a wonderful community for my entire family.

This church is amazing. Adam Waite is is their Minister of music and he does a splendid job. His Annual Christmas Concert is unmatched. The choirs here are superb with a church full of dedicated singers, both young and old. Stop by on a Sunday and meet all the friendly people

When my husband and I moved to Denver, we visited Montview because of its reputation as a progressive church. Right away, we were awed by the beauty of the sanctuary but wondered if it might be too big for us. Something kept pulling us back -- the thought-provoking sermons, the beautiful choral music and the friendliness of the congregants. That was three years ago and the church has become my extended family. And, no, it's not too big.

I have only been to the Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church once but I really liked it. The outside and inside is beautiful. I attended a classical music concert there and you could hear the music perfectly. I would come again for another concert.
