Great food buffet choices and good ambiance. Pricey but worth it
Best hotel on Guam for a relaxing staycation. Their staff throughout the hotel deliver excellent service 24/7. Wonderful dining options.
My family and I had an amazing experience. The staff at breeze's was amazing and very attentive to us. Amalia, Jhemir, Angelu, and the manager Mr. John Martin Leong made our vacation very memorable. We will definitely be referring Hyatt Regency to any of our family and friends who plan to vacation on Guam!!! We will miss you all as we're returning to Kansas.
Rooms sizes are big. Polite filipino staffs. Good customer service. Rooms need some renovations.
The entire room was not cleaned, the paper was not used, and the exaggeration was that the room was rampant.
After the death, the cockroaches stuck to the cabinet. The cleaning staff did not find it after two days, so on the third morning, they took the initiative to leave a note to remind the cleaning staff.
Back to the hotel that night, there was a folded note on the table. After opening it, the corpse stuck to my note and gave it back to me!
Lots of fragrance as you enter the lobby. If you have allergies, you probably want to have a back-up plan for lodging. Had dinner at Breezes Sunset BBQ with the dance show. If you sit in the first row or so, watch out for splatter from the fluid used as fuel on the torches. When the flames are spun around, the excess fluid can fly off and hit you. The buffet was ok, with a ample selection of foods. The smores are a great concept but it can take time to roast a marshmallow to perfection.
The day in the suite was really awesome ... The Hyatt
Personally, the beach in front of Hyatt seems to be the most beautiful. There were many corals and many fish
There's a pool and a sandy beach. It's the best to play with.
A good place for a holiday in Guam, close to duty-free shops
I went there for a Photo shoot and it wasn't hot. And the sand at the beach is amazing
Recommend the hotel for the one who less cares about room conditions while paying high.. Very disappointing with their lower standard of room cleaning and hygiene..unbelivablely poor quality of hotel.. for breakfast buffet, most of food supposed to be warmly served are always not warm at all : simply curious why.. staffs are nice and appreciated their effort to resolve the issueS though.. hopefully I had series of bad cases in Hyatt but still can't accept how could it happen..
The rooms need updating. Our bathroom had mold and mildew all over the shower, carpet is old and needs replaced, and the just wasn't considered a 5 star hotel. The pool area is wonderful, the staff are friendly, and has easy access to the beach. We booked a 5star hotel and got maybe a 3 star room.
Ocean view is very good.
It is somewhat old, but you can spend it comfortably.
Great hotel and restaurants. Right smack dab in the middle of everything.
The resort was very nice. Extremely nice pool. Good restaurants. Staff was a little unaware about some of the property locations. Other than that it was great.
The room is spacious and clean The swimming pool is good for toddlers to play with, but it is not enough for elementary school children to play with but the pool is large and uncomplicated. Good location, good location
All rooms have ocean view, large swimming pool and good for families with children.
Meals are decent compared to other places. Especially Budae stew is the most memorable ^^
There is also a beach in front of the pool, but I don't like the way outsiders pay for and rent it.
At PIC, everything on the beach was free.
Love how they are working to be a sustainable business by buying locally and cutting down on waste.
Lovely beach side, beautiful lobby, beautiful rooms, very "quaint"...excellent for Romance
Pros
1. Clean rooms
2. The beach is very close
3. There are sliders
Cons
1. Pool is too shallow (4.12 feet)
2. Room is not super modern compared to other Hayatt I have been.
3. Foods in the swimming pool are expensive. (sandwich $18)
The rooms are spacious and the 6th floor where I stayed is equipped with a washer dryer ice microwave etc.
I can suck and dry wet laundry
The staff at the front of the hotel who speak good Korean
I was comfortable with communication and I was in Tumon Downtown.
It was easy to go to restaurants,
It's wide and easy to park.
Overrun with family tourists with small children. Expensive average dining options. Not enough pool-sun lounging spaces/chairs. Very tired old property.
The hotel has a nice pool with the waterfall on it's territory. Friendly personnel and good atmosphere. The beach is sandy. The ocean is not deep there.
There is pool, there is direct connection to beach, and view is good, too.
Tourists: 60% of Koreans, 20% of Japanese and 20% of others. There are surprisingly few Chinese.
I only went to the pool, but it was great. Clean and plenty of room to enjoy yourself!
As a Hyatt Diamond member I was extremely pleased with the staff at the Hyatt Regency in Guam. My wife and I were guests for nearly two weeks on business and witnessed continuous displays of professionalism and personal attention. First, I cannot thank Front Office Team Leader Jason enough for his quick response in resolving difficulties that the hotel did not cause. At the front end of my trip to Guam, I inadvertently scheduled July dates instead of June dates. I didn t notice the error until just a couple of days before arrival. I contacted Jason and he immediately arranged for me to stay at the hotel on the correct dates. Near the end of my trip, a colleague joined me unexpectedly and again Jason was able to accommodate his stay. In both instances, the hotel was booked primarily with tourists and Jason went the extra mile to resolve these issues.
Second, the staff that tended to the Executive Lounge was outstanding. Thank you to Mercedes, Jasmine, Neil, Sikawa, Ronica, and Tristan for your attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and pleasant personalities. For those names I could not remember I apologize. You all were outstanding. Further, I want to point out that Mercedes and Neil, in particular, frequently initiated conversation by asking how our day was and we appreciated such attentiveness. Thank you all for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.
Third, staff throughout the hotel and throughout the day nearly always greeted us with a smile and a Hafa Adai . The facilities were excellent. We loved the gym, the myriad of pools and rivers, the close proximity to the beach, and the nightly fire show. The hotel room was clean and properly made up each day, and we really appreciate the bottle of wine, the bottled waters, and the basket of fruit and cookies that greeted us in our room on the late night of our arrival. That was a perfect end to our day and a perfect start of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel during your stay in Guam.
5 stars because of the pool. The location seems to be the center but it's a bit unfortunate. Don't expect too much hotel facilities
Spacious swimming pool, pleasant beach. Neat room condition
This is a good hotel for both toddlers and kindergartens. Not a short walk to the shopping street but close. Dusit Thani is recommended for walking around.
Great family hotel. It is perfect for family with little kids. Staff were so friendly and polite. Swimming is spacious and very well maintained, and had a direct connection to the beach. The room and interiors are outdated and boring and the restaurant and the lounge could get very busy and crowded. Overall good experience!
My personal opinion was that the hostel has never been so good all over Guam.
We went to lunch buffet at Hyatt restaurant Niji. Tempura is fried in front of you.
Great resort hotel
The hotels next to Tumon Bay are swimming pools that can go directly to the beach.
The location of this hotel is very good, just 3 minutes walk to the lively street, the interior is comfortable and you can see the sea.
Ordinary. The CP value is low.
The room is old and has few outlets.
WIFI is good or bad.
The attitude of employees is generally high.
Although there are many swimming pools, it is very far to go to the beach.
Returning to the hotel from the outside, I have to climb a slope, very tired.
I don't want to go to the second time anymore.
Great pool time with water slides,so much fun.Pool passes available, snack restaurant, towel service, beach front and water vehicle rentals.
It is close to the beach and the pool slides are good.
The hotel is a little old, but the staffs are kind and the Korean staff is always waiting at the front desk to leave lots of good memories
The staff is good but the facilities are not 5 star level. I think that revisited.
It's close to the city center, a little bit old and friendly.
Beach umbrella deck chair set, 1
About 1,500 yen a day. You may have a pool right in front of you. The toilet in the room is not a washlet.
Good for family stay. Pools are especially popular with children. But the meal is Japanese buffet> Room service> Restaurant
This place is something you just have to experience for yourself. Amazing
Hyatt Regency Guam is located right off the beach. The ocean here is ok. Very shallow waves so can't really swim but the sand quality is amazing. Hotel itself is alright. Check in counter is just a table and things are a bit slow there. Parking is available free of charge. I like the lounge! The food is amazing! Wifi is only available to be used for 4 devices which is very inconvenient.
The brand is HAYAT. It is a high-class hotel where you can enjoy the luxury,
Rooms are dated but the restaurants are decent and the kids loved the pool.
All the staff from the front to the reception are very friendly and the hotel atmosphere is good. A wide variety of programs for children are available. There are many activities that adults can do. The private pool is the highest level in Guam except PIC. I can not forget the sunset from my room.
Had a church fundraiser at the large ballroom. Menu options were fantastic, the salad options alone were enough to fill up. Veggies were fresh, meats and fish we're cooked well. Can't go wrong with the Hyatt.
Overall pleasant but such a massive hotel. Easy to get lost. Club rooms are dated. Need redecorating but very spacious
A hotel that works hard to please and make its customers feel well. Plus, It is a nice hotel for $250 a night.
Everything from the lobby to the room is tidy!
And it's located on the main street, so it's great for shopping! And since the outdoor swimming pool is big and connected to the beach, it is the best healing place for healing!
Honestly, the facilities are very old but I like the swimming pool and the beach
We enjoyed the music of Joy and Noel. Very nice! We will come again.
I was recently invited to attend a birthday celebration at the cafe kitchen locate in the Hyatt regency hotel. The restaurant layout was simple and clean. The tomahawk steak is definitely a dish you should order if you have a large appetite or are with several people. I must confess I didn t pay attention to anything else after the steak arrived at our table. They do offer other dishes... I think.
Short staff, borrowing other staffs from other departments in hotel as well to intern from other country short terms who dont have much experience due to too many bosses talking for each other causing written up,suspension, fired for wrongful statements.
It has an excellent location with a swimming pool and beach.
The facilities are a bit outdated, but quite large rooms complement the drawbacks.
Okay, the pool is good, the money is better, the ocean view is more than 9th floor, the 3rd floor is the first floor, the view was not so good, and the upstairs is another world.
This hotel is getting really tired. Rooms were really nice size, however the bathrooms are falling apart from the constant salty air. Time for a renovation.
