Was here for a conference, and though not a guest at the hotel, the staff were warm, helpful and courteous. The wi-fi was less than stellar though.

Excellent place, clean, wonderful, beautiful and dedicated staff.
The room is nice and clean. The breakfast was fabulous. They had an station, waffles, meats, eggs and an assortment of fruit and yogurt including plain yogurt. Which no one ever has plain yogurt and I always wish they did. They also had oatmeal, and the staff brings you whTever drinks you want. He internet in the rooms is good. Very comfortable. Nice and quiet.
I was bit by bedbugs every night we were there. I reported to the manager. They had the room inspected and said there was no evidence of the bugs. I had bits all over my feet, arms, and back. I'm pretty sure that's evidence....
Easier to access to both Harvard and MIT. Not far from Kendall Sq as well. Great view and good service.
Great room and very convenient to Boston and Fenway.
Excellent hotel, rooms are silent and comfy. The breakfast is just amazing.
Very nice room, comfortable bed, and nice amenities.
Went here for lunch. Food was awesome. Great views. Wonderful staff.
Realy nice location. Good service. Room large, clean and confortable. Well positioned in the town. Suggested.
Overpriced for what it offers. Think have better things for the price or cheapper hotels for the same category
Awesome view! Get a balcony room on the Boston (view) side....You. Will. Not. Be. Disappointed! View of Citgo sign, Charles River, Prudential etc...
Decent but inconsistent service. Clean rooms. Smoke detector started beeping at 2AM, and when we informed them in the morning, the hotel did nothing to make it right. Otherwise pleased with service but ignoring the safety and comfort of guests leaves a bitter taste
Great view of the river. Clean nice rooms. Friendly staff
The place is nice, doesn't have the perfect view but I didn't really spend too much time in hotel so it's actually whatever. They provide parking for overnight guests for 30 bucks a night which is pretty nice. The room is quite clean and the servic
Since when does a hotel NOT provide comforters on the bed? I had to call down to front desk and request it. When it came it was like a WalMart brand quality. So far... Unimpressed. And free internet is for one device only. This reaffirms why I typically choose Marriott brands.
On-site parking is expensive as well as doing, but thankfully there are plenty of transportation options and dinning options across the river. The rooms are nice and spacious if not a little dated in terms of styling.
Excellent stay. Great rooms, great view, great location. Staff is friendly.
Service continues to be outstanding, views still great... however I still think hotel needs a refresh. Stayed here almost 4 years ago and returned because the views of the river are hard to beat. And I was impressed by the service..several times. Upon checkin, there were some issues with the computer system so they actually sent some from the front desk to check and make sure our room was ready...and for waiting, they comp'd our parking which I did not ask for, so it was a pleasant surprise. For buffet breakfast, Peter (who by card is the Event Services Manager) was not only friendly, offered suggestions, etc. but took a geniune interest in our trip looking at colleges during out stay... what a nice man he was. I found the buffet breakfast to be above average for a Regency property, although it was very busy. On the first morning, I went to the lobby looking for a newspaper and coffee...they don't put that out, however the lady at the front desk went and got it for me....again, anohter delightful surprise. While I can still see some areas of the hotel that look dated and worth a refresh, it's the service that stands out and can't beat falling asleep or waking up to the views of the Charles & downtown from one's bed.
Amazing staff and place ! I highly reccomend i have absolutly nothing to complain about !
The hotel has a nice aesthetic, but the rooms are very dated. The location is alright, but us not really walking distance to any landmarks or notable restaurants. I did not try the food, as the breakfast plates were $15+ for things as simple as eggs, toast, and bacon. The rooms do not have a microwave, and the fridge is very small. The climate control in the room leaves a lot to be desired, as it is either blowing or not, and the thermostat does not seem to work correctly. It was relatively inexpensive, though, which is a big positive, and it was clean.
Great service, excellent restaurant, classy appointments
This place has polite staff, large rooms, and it even has a rooftop pool and fitness center. It s also right on the water creating quite a background.
My room was clean and well kept, but for a February stay, the beds only had a sheet and a single blanket with no comforter. I ensured the thermostat was set to 72F, but woke up freezing cold early in the morning.
Amazing hotel and staff. I enjoyed the view from our room. Room was very clean and staffs were friendly.
Great location. Good restaurant but prices don't make sense for what you receive. Over priced and under delivered. Rooms are clean but the sheets are scratchy and the pillows all need to be replaced.
Hotel was great. Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Would definitely go back.
The prom I attended had ok food and the dance floor wasn't big enough to fit everyone on it
We stayed in a beautiful location, overlooking the Charles river. The view was great, and it was easy to get around town with the free shuttle rides to various places around Boston.
Excellent in every way. Great service and amazing view
The room was simple but clean and pleasant, with a fantastic view of the Charles
A bit dated and the staff are not super responsive and slow to react to your concerns. Heating system made a lot of noise which kept waking me up. They gave me a space heater instead when I complained. The shower in my room (designes for people with disabilities) has very narrow showers, and overall poorly designed. The Starbuck people (one of them in particular) is downright rude.
Conveniently located with a great view of Boston and Cambridge, MA.
Went there for a conference. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was nice, Everything was clean, wish I got a free water though
Good views however the rooms / hotel are mediocre. Parking was additional $40 or more and cannot accomidate taller SUVs or trucks.
Only issue is the $40 per night parking fee and not having a refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. Beautiful place but for the cost all three of these things should be included!
The Hyatt Recency Cambridge is the best hotel in the Boston area. Great view overlooking the Charles River. Hard to find a more professional and courteous staff working there, the epitome of customer service.
Great room, fantastic service, amazing food. Very comfortable and great stay.
From what I saw, very clean upkept, friendly staff.
very god place, to MIT not far away. can view river
Take this rating with a grain of salt...BBQ is like wine...we all have our preferences. As a Texas that has had BBQ all over the country (but wouldn't call myself a fanatic), Blue Ribbon is good stuff...their sides are very good and their meats are good enough to satisfy the craving. BT's smokehouse in Sturbridges wins the award for best NE BBQ in my opinion, but timing my craving for smoked meat with a 1 hour drive west doesn't happen often. Friendly staff, particularly if you speak a bit of spanish...like I do ;-).
Great place to stay If your visiting Boston,MA for work or pleasure.
The thermostat was not working properly, otherwise a fine hotel for a business stay.
Nice and clean, got lucky with a room on the 11th floor which had a great view of Cambridge. TV isn't amazing, but who comes to Boston to watch TV in their hotel room, right? On one of the bus lines and is a transfer away from one of the T lines. Within a reasonable distance from downtown so Uber prices are decent.
The only good thing was the people serving. But the service was not coordinate, really slow.
I was there for a day event, the hotel was very nice, and the front desk was extremely helpful. I had to get a taxi to the airport and they were able to schedule me one very quickly. Lunch at the restaurant was okay, I wanted a specific item on the menu and asked for it to be customized, it wasn't necessarily customized to what I wanted but I was ultimately able to fix it.
Clean room, good location. Booked for 3 people on Hotwire and got 1 king size bed. They originally were going to charge for a cot, but comped it after some back and forth. Parking is on the expensive side ($40 per night in a garage). Overall, an average experience. Not bad, not good.
We had a beautiful corner room on the 7th floor with amazing view a Boston and the river Service was excellent food amazing Staff was exceptional thank you for a wonderful experience
Overnight parking is too expensive. Hotel needs to be updated. Other than that, everything else was fine.
Decently good. Service is excellent, the servers are nice and kind (if that makes sense). Location is good, overlooking the river, and has a free shuttle bus service to and from the nearest train station. Beds are comfy, no heater tho, More
Clean rooms & comfortable beds. Location is on the less active side of the MIT campus. Dinner service was good
Beautiful hotel overlooking Boston. Right along the Charles river. Wonderful restaurants inside.
Beautiful location and very well kept. Slightly outside the busy area but a 10 min drive to just about anywhere. Views are amazing and rooms are absolutely stunning
Great view! Room smelled a bit funny. Nice outdoor sitting area. No hot tub. Cool elevators.
Overall pretty good. Not the best cleaning services.
Everything was clean and efficient. All of the stuff were helpful and nice!
Stayed here for several days while catching a few games at Fenway Park. Hotel rooms were great...service was awesome and the restaurant was very good. Will definitely stay in the Hyatt again
Rooms look ok, average cleaning. No shower but tub. It's not possible to open the windows. Convenient location but parking for the hotel guests is quite expensive, 40$ per day. Sauna, gym and pool complimentary
Good hotel but in need of a refurbishment, which I do understand to be scheduled for 2019
Standard 1980s Hyatt with large inside atrium. Rooms are clean, some details are rough (caulking in bathroom is imprecise, trim is uneven), prices in the convenience store are oddly high, nothing in the immediate neighborhood but they have a free shuttle to Harvard Square, WiFi speeds are OK, but satellite TV is susceptible to weather and channels are often out.
The view is spectacular I would go there just for the view
Would have been 5 stars but shuttle around city was super late. I was told 15 minute wait for pick up from Kendall Square. After 25 minutes, I called again and they mentioned another 10 minute wait. I ended up taking a taxi (which they reimbursed, fortunately). Also, WiFi was extremely slow, at only 1-2 mbps.
Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was also friendly. I'd still recommend the hotel because it was a good price.
Beautiful view and friendly staff really made my stay a wonderful experience. Rooms were clean and the hotel was professional.
I didn't stat hers, my mother was in town for a visit. The limited time I was in the hotel, everything was very nice and well kept. The hotel has a beautiful view, decent restaurant, and is very close to both BU and MIT
Quiet and comfortable. Nothing really to do in or around property. Pool is closed forever.
