Snow was good where the trails are open. No lines during weekdays. Apparently restaurant at the top only serves food Fri-Sun now. Was really disappointed at I was looking forward to the soup up there :)

They really need to train their staff! We have Epic passes for my kids and the scanner sometimes said Bad one of the people scanning told me I would have to go inside and buy a new pass, we varified inside before we started the passes were good. This woman & another man proceeded to yell at me, this was our 3rd run so they had already worked. I grew up skiing here but they have no idea what hospitality is, hopefully Epic/ Vail will teach them.

After going to Killington and Windham mountains, I felt like I had set the right expectations in my head of what Hunter mountain would be like. Probably more of junior mountain with not too many trails to access and less amenities in the resort area. In reality, I was pleasantly surprised by both the mountain and general development of the resort. I would definitely recommend hunter over windham if you're making the trek to the Catskills, many more trails to choose from and it just felt a lot more established. We came MLK weekend, so it was SUPER crowded, but they have express lifts halfway up the mountain so we still got a ton of runs in.

I went to the Taste of Country Music Festival this June of 2016 and it was amazing. The mountain had planned perfectly for this event...plenty of staff and security, plenty of food vendors, and most importantly, plenty of bathrooms. Good job guys.

I've actually only been here in the summer time, but I highly recommend it. It's a great place to have a wedding (on the summit, riding the chairlift to the top). They also have some great summertime activities like zip-lining, a zombie chase, etc.

I Would NOT Reccomend Hunter Mtn For Alot Of Reasons. First They Can't Guarentee Their Paying Guest Warmth, Comfort, And Safety On ANY Of Their Chairlift. Even With The Addition Of Their 6 Pack Chairlift Dubed " Northern Express" Your Paying High Lift Ticket Prices For What? Utter Misery. Nothing Like Riding A Cold Wet Chair, Out In The Blowing Snow, Rain, Wind. Closing The Katterskill Flyer Because Of Windy Conditions. Want To Ski At A Real Resort With REAL SNOW Than Hunter Mtn Is NOT The Place To Ski. Ski The REAL MTN At Big Sky Montana. At Least Big Sky GUARENTEES Their Paying Guests WARMTH, COMFORT, SAFETY On Their Brand NEW WORLD FAME 1st EVER RAMCHARGER 8. The First Ever Heated 8 Person Chairlift.

Went for their tubing. The lanes were narrow and slopes were pretty short, but you could build up a decent amount of speed if you ran and jumped. Staff were unprofessional and used profanity and apparently gave a co-worker the nickname "Little B***h". I'd hate to be that guy. Other than that it was good.

We took a Bus Trip up for the TAPNY event. The location is beautiful the facility has great views of the mountains and the town is just as beautiful. Service was fantastic, the restrooms were very clean considering there were a large amount of people on the site that day. Can't wait to go back next year !

My friends and I recently had a great experience with Hunter Mountain's Snow Tubing area. The Manager on duty was extremely friendly/helpful at a time when it was raining and the slopes weren't ideal but was really upfront about those expectations and even cut us some slack on the price, so I really really appreciated that.

Been coming here for lots of years and it has gotten better and better every time I came back. Over all a good area for a ski resort. It's close by to a small town and many restaurants/shopping areas. There is also a resort where you can stay over nights. The staff and workers there is extremely nice and helpful.

We visited this place during Oktoberfest, and we really enjoyed all the activities that was going on, especially the puppy s competition. People had bought their cute puppy s and also dressed them in adorable ways.
All the food stalls were really great, they offered variety of different German dishes.

PS: It s very important to carry hard cash if you are planning to visit hunter Mountains especially during Oktoberfest, coz many stalls don t accept card; and also there are no ATM s in the vicinity..

The rentals could be managed so much better. There was no line to rent snowboards and it was chaos. The cafe is very small with barely any seating capacity. The infrastructure could be improved but the slopes were great.

Never would ski there only out West & Europe, now girlfriend has house there and is easy. Don't like snowmaking during the day have hit piles of heavy snow and been thrown down. Last year bindings not release and twisted knee. Can't compare to the ski areas of CO, UT & CA but is ok for couple days.

Terrible service. I ordered 2 gift cards from them to be shipped (mind you, from NY to NJ) via 2 day Fedex shipping for which they charge $20/card. For that money they did not send me a tracking number or tell me they have shipped them. Instead Hunter Mountain resort made me call them for 2 days to find that out (cause they don't pick up from the 1st try..or 2nd). After that I spent 5 days waiting for the order and only then decided to call them and find out why I still haven't received it. That, of course, took me a few days too because they rarely call back even if you leave them a voicemail..or two. It turned out that they messed up, basically pocketed the $40 shipping fee and sent the cards by regular USPS. Since these cards were meant as a gift.. for a holiday that has long passed I decided to get a refund. Of course I had to call them for another 3-4 days until I finally got a hold of them and they agreed to give me my money back, of course, without offering any compensation for keeping me nervous and calling them for 2 weeks. It's another 2 weeks after the last conversation.. and I'm still wondering when or rather IF I'll get my $240 back.. and I can't find that out because THEY"RE NOT PICKING UP.
