Unbelievable just how delicious this place is. I'm kinda a meat and potato kinda guy but their food is totally worth the stop to eat here

I got their shrimp tacos, and the presentation of them was very pleasant. The taste of the shrimp along with the sauce it was paired with was quite exquisite!

Upscale, yet cozy spot for a special meal. Supposedly great happy hour between 3-6 on weekdays. 40%off wine bottles on Monday. Fresh decor, open and airy dining area. Fish is really fresh, tried the mussels, crab cake and scampi and was not disappointed. Friendly staff. Reservations probably a good thing, but not required. Located No.CapHill.

Sea bass was spot on. Shishito peppers with calamari was scrumptious. Staff were exceptional. One of the highlights of our trip to Denver.

Excellent wine, (white rioja spain) the card is generous in terms of wine but also dishes. The forest way chicken was excellent. They offer different types of oysters, a wide choice of appetizers and dishes to share. for 2 with the wines 90 dollars

This is our first time trying this restaurant. We're very pleased with the crab fritters. They were better then we expected. We also ordered fried calamari that was not great at all. It was the driest we have ever had. The little legs tasted like jerky. Over all great service and wonderful staff

Humboldt is a delicious restaurant with excellent customer service. It was one of my best friends from college's bridal shower and we selected Humboldt Farm Fish and Wine for Sunday brunch. It was the best service we've all had in a long time. The server was super attentive. When there was an issue with the waffle machine for the chicken and waffles dish one of us ordered, the manager came out in anticipation and offered my friend a new dish. Great food, good atmosphere, will definitely come back many more times!

The restaurant is beautiful inside without being too over the top and I've never been disappointed by a meal here. The brunch is particularly nice if you can get a spot in the atrium.

Excellent food, excellent service. Take someone special to Humboldt. Well decorated, trendy crowd mostly 20 and 30 somethings. We had the burger and the mustard salmon kale salad with key lime pie and hot, gooey, partially melted chocolate brownie for dessert. We will return.

They had probably the best hot wings I have ever had. Amazing sauce!

Food was tasty, but played out. No creativity or local food on the menu. Expensive for the quality. Restaurants, when you charge $15 for a breakfast dish, you better use high quality ingredients!

We just had dinner here tonight and I was thoroughly unimpressed with both the service and the quality of the steak. My waiter was rude to me and then apologized afterwards by trying to give me a free dessert. He had a confrontation with me because he set the table incorrectly and when I brought it to his attention was confrontation with me. To add insult to injury I ordered the ribeye special of which 50% of it was gristle or fat and non-edible. I was thoroughly unimpressed this time.

Had to eat on the patio at night in the middle of November due to COVID restrictions and it was freezing! Luckily the food was fire.

Totally worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

I HIGHLY recommend the avocado toast and grilled salmon burger. The avocado toast is not just avocado and toast there are so many other elements playing into it, it s a combination of amazing flavors that will leave you wanting more! I will definitely be back!

Not a fan of the food and thought the drinks where over priced

Calamari was excellent and generous portion. Was more of a calamari salad, lots of greens piled on top. Lightly battered and fried, peppers were also fried. Yum!

My place to go and relax and have some good food and good service

Wonderful!! Mussels were excellent. Best sauce ever! Oysters were fresh. Everything was exceptional and our waitress was so sweet and amazing! We will certainly be back.

My wife and I have been here 4 times now over a span of a couple years. Our visit went really well with great food and service. Unfortunately that trend did not continue with the last three. I'm not quick to judge a place on one bad experience but when the last 3 Are pretty mediocre I take note of that. My main criticism would be the lack of attention to my wife's meal order. She had gluten sensitivities and can not have dairy as well. That was communicated to our server but he 'forgot' to put that in to the order, not on one item but with 3 foods. That was our last time going there.

Staff was great and the food was amazing. Some of the best seafood in Denver for sure. Will definitely be going back. Ask to get seated in the atrium!

It was an awful experience I got seated outside with my family while the wind blew that leaves in my food but it was subpar could have spent less for better quality

Usually this place is amazing. Just an off day I don't know. Maybe they have a new cook but my meal was not worth the money I paid for it. Very dry so much so that the other people at my table agreed. Cornmeal crusted pan seared halibut. The wilted bitter greens were wilted beyond recognition and over seasoned it was if someone spilled the salt shaker onto the dish. Sad because I know this place can put out great product.

Steak and burger were unfortunately very over cooked. The chicken pasta had a strange flavor as well. The service was lacking. The cocktails were ok though. Would never return for the food but maybe for a drink.

I wanted a light meal so I got the crispy brussel sprouts and a cobb salad with grilled chicken. The brussel sprouts were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor; a rich soy and I'm guessing balsamic dressing. I was delighted with the delicate green goddess dressing on the cobb and the grilled and seasoned chicken was the perfect compliment. My friends split a pastrami sandwich and they wouldn't shut up about the pastrami. The chef here has skills.

The service was friendly and prompt. The patio was pleasant. This is one of the few places I've been to during the pandemic that is handling social distancing appropriately. This restaurant has really stepped up their game.

Humboldt has been known for good farm-table food options, and today's lunch was fulfilling, hearty, and phenomenal quality. Our outside patio spot was nicely situated between the fence and the restaurant.

Pretty good food and wine selection. Great space for small group dinners. They often have a special seasonal menu to try new dishes, but their main menu also has a good variety of dishes. Pictured here we have a lamb dish, scallops and whole fish. Mmmm!

The food was amazing! Our server was also amazing! We ordered several appetizers and split them amongst us. We had the sushito peppers, roasted beets, kale & quinoa salad, and the tuna tartare. Everything was absolutely tasty! I will say you need to tread lightly on the sushito peppers. There were a couple hot one in the bowl but overall they were solid!

Great service for Denver. Awesome food whether it's happy hour or restaurant week. The crispy broccoli is a must try.

Outstanding and friendly service. The crankcase was large and excellent. The pasta special with lobster, shrimp and mussels was beautifully seasoned and a delight.

My hubby and I went here for brunch. I specifically went here for the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were really good. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good too. I'd recommend this place for a nice brunch and we want to try having dinner here now.

We usually come here for dinner but were happily surprised to see they are open for lunch. So many great options and they kindly gave me my "sandwich" without bread and it was perfect. We always enjoy our meals here!

Dining at Humboldt for the first time, during the closure of indoor dining, I didn't know what to expect. I had a recent visit to a restaurant that had an enclosed patio, but I still froze in My Carhartt and stocking cap. The conditions at Humboldt were better. Outside of a ten minute propane heater problem, the patio was fairly comfortable even at night. The burrata and soup were a great start, and the mains, steak fries and lamb bolognese, were very flavorful and filling. Our server did become quite occupied, and largely forgot about us, due to a larger, sociable table near the midway point, but it seemed like they had a barebones staff due to regulations. Although it is easily the most expensive restaurant in the neighborhood, it is still a far cry from being in the top tier of Denver's restaurants on price point. Which makes it's artful, tasty dishes a welcome surprise to the senses. I'll be back

We dined here for an anniversary a little over a month ago and had a beautiful evening, and I can say that with confidence despite an undesirable table and lackluster service (good, but not on par with the rest of the experience). Simple yet elevated dishes, warm atmosphere, private feeling even on a busy night in the middle of the room.
One interesting thing my partner and I both noticed- again, not a negative- was that the chef seemed to have a distinctly sweet palette. Every dish we enjoyed that evening had an element of sweetness that tied everything together in a very unique way- perfect for the season.
Will definitely return!

The atmosphere seemed dated and drab, like the menu. I wanted to take my wife elsewhere as soon as I saw they were charging ridiculous prices for lame entrees, while at the same time the menu included truffle fries (this is always a huge warning, especially if you are not eating at a gastro pub), but we were tired and didn't have much time, so we settled for this restaurant. I knew the food was outragously overpriced, and this was verified when we received our food. The average entree price was $25+, but the quality of the food was terrible. I don't believe this restaurant will last much longer charging these prices. I got food poisoning from the fish special and was sick that same night. Every aspect of my wife's fish dish was literally burnt. The only positive in this experience was the service. Our waitress was very polite. I will never eat here again and I would strongly advise people to spend their money elsewhere.

It was great service was slow at first. But the food was excellent. Portions just right. The Calarmari was some of the best we had
