As with others, very poor customer service. In pre-sales chat they showed that their booking tool was a solution to our problem. I bought the tool, but after that it turned out to be unsuitable. Have asked solution several times, but contact is very poor. As soon as they have your money it's very hard to reach them.

Product is good customer service is awful. Once I signed up for the free trial Danny Dias was quick to follow up with me to figure out how they help...a.k.a get your signed up for a paid subscription. I made an error and signed up for sales starter when I wanted marketing. Sent two emails to Danny to find out the fix and crickets...gone, can't be bothered to respond. I chatted online with service department and they suggested an email to billing. 3 days later nothing, I guess it went into a black hole. You might be very smart tech people running that business but your clueless on what really counts. Contact me and I can teach about delivering world class customer service.

**** BUYER BE VERY AWARE NOT WHAT YOU'RE EXPECTING AT ALL!!! ****

Pretty bad company. Software doesn't work as described and the exorbitant fees are negotiable to the tune of about 50% off and you can pay quarterly or semi-annually.

But watch the hard sell, for instance, "Brian, if I can get my manager to agree to (this price), can we get a credit card today." Once you sign up, get ready for the up-sells. You have to pay $350 a month extra for of all things, customer service. Another $200 a month for better reporting and other basic sales features. We were able to get out of our contract for $750. While I was "building my list" with Hubspot, the employees at Hubspot signed up to be on the list. After I left, (I now use ActiveCampaign and Hootsuite and I love it) Ellen Zehntner, a Sales Manager who per LinkedIn, claims to be "leading & scaling the HubSpot sales organization", instead of just unsubscribing, she vindictively elected to report my marketing as abuse, saying she never signed up. The company is a joke, they talk bad about each other on the phone to justify their mistakes.

Here is my original complaint email to Hubspot..

Gina and Stephanie,

I want to reach out to let you know, the onboarding isn t anything like we discussed and what you said it would be. We signed up about three weeks ago and we ve been on the phone with Ray twice that s it. This isn t what we talked about or agreed on. As you can see below, my development team has had to get involved and nothing is very straight forward or accommodating.

I'm so sorry for the delay on this - we are working to push you up the assignment queue!
I'm full up this week - but will let you know if any spots open up - and would like to meet before I leave for my brother's wedding next week starting on Wednesday. Are you free on Mon, October 3, 11:00 11:45 AM EST to attend our first call?
I think everything looks good on my end - I saw the main website and the domains in HubSpot are greenlit. Glad your team was on hand to resolve this so quickly.
My week is currently full though I can fit you into a 30 min slot this Fri, October 14, 2:00 2:30 PM EST.
It's a bit difficult for me to accommodate 2 one hour blocks but I'm willing to do a one hour call and a 30 minute check-in under the conditions that we make steady progress on our actions items and complete the tasks outlined in the projects tool.
I'll have to get back to you regarding the page views on the Landing Page not working. Comparing it with my own, the only difference is that your tracking code on the page isn't at its full length. I'llget back to you on why that is.
I've checked the DKIM authorization and I can't see anything wrong with the setup. It may also be helpful to whitelist HubSpot emails. If I'm missing anything here, just let me know.

This has now been going on for three weeks and from what I am told, we are a lot further than most I find that impossible. Additionally, I m being told that I received the max email notification (200) and to get more, I have to pay $50 a month and another $200 for reports. I thought your software was a complete program.

This has been a disappointing and uneventful three weeks. We stopped using our other SEO group and we have had a sign up in two weeks. Not only is our arrangement costing me money, it s costing me business as well.

We are a user of Hubspot Products. We find their people to be fantastic. Unfortunately we feel we made the wrong choice with Hubspot for a CRM product. The e-mail integration works for a few days with Gmail and then detaches. If we integrate with a phone number for outbound call recording, it works for a while and detaches. It took Hubspot more than a year of customer complaints to begin to manage multiple email addresses for 1 contact, yet they have the ability to manage multiple phone numbers. I reached out to the CEO to let him know that his core products are struggling, but he is a "Linked In Influencer" and has relegated his customers to admiring him rather than interacting. Sadly, I do not hold much hope that Hubspot will be around in 10 years.

Had the pleasure of meeting Chris E this afternoon to discuss what HubSpot does and how they work with great companies. What an awesome experience, didn't feel like I was being sold anything was more of networking discovery opportunity for both of us today. Regardless of whether I am working with them or not these guys really know inbound and have a wonderful team and platform to prove it. If you haven't had the chance check them out and if you get Lucky you will have the chance to speak with Chris E, as he really enjoys what he does and it comes out in each conversation.

Huge fan of their marketing platform. Hubspot is a leader in the industry and it shows in pretty much everything they do. Only gripe is that subscriptions can get pretty costly if you have a lot of contacts because that s a real driver of their prices.

Bad availability of support. Despite a callback re...

Bad availability of support. Despite a callback request from the account, there was no callback after more than 5 hours. My call to sales got connected internally and then I got kicked off the line. There was also an ignorant supporter in the chat and he pointed out the callback function in the account.

I don't see 100% SEO compatibility here. The title tag is generated automatically based on the H1 heading and can therefore not be created flexibly.

Conclusion: not really recommendable.

I have been using HubSpot for a couple of years as...

I have been using HubSpot for a couple of years as a small business. Overall, they offer a robust platform that helps me save time and track activity. I haven t been able to utilize some of the marketing features but based on what I ve seen, they re very user friendly (landing pages, analytics, etc.). Everyone I have worked with over there has been professional and responsive, too.

Would recommend this platform to anyone to automate marketing and sales.

Deeply frustrated with getting the runaround from customer service.
We are paid customers, and faced with a rather straightforward technical issue, we were frequently put off with dead-end supposed fixes which were clearly just a ploy to end the discussion. Our time is valuable, please don;t waste it or make us do all the work to resolve code and platform issues with hubspot. Sheesh!

We currently use HubSpot for our mMarketing campaigns, social media publishing and email tracking. We are also currently integrating the HubSpot tracking metric with our CRM database to use lead scoring for not only new customers, but also for our existing accounts. HubSpot is also the host for our website and we have integrated 2 additional Shopify site domains for tracking and campaign workflow purposes. Website updates and promotion since the move to HubSpot in 2016 has led to more leads and conversions than in company history. I am a small business owner trying to get out of their contract because I am not happy with their landing page selection. Please read this story in progress to make a decision if you want to deal with this company. This narrative is only to show their process of cancellation. This citation is in no way to tarnish any reputation!

IN A GIST: I have hired a marketing company to do my digital advertising. I was between Hubspot and another competitor, but my marketing agency insisted on Hubspot. So I went with it. Specifically the $800/month. 4 months into it, I find out that the landing pages are not good.

DILEMMA: After having my marketing company contact Hubspot to cancel, Arianne of Hubspot reached out to me and my marketing company in a phone conference to discuss my concerns. She showed us how landing pages work and politely started to teach the concept of "building awareness" of my product. After 30 minutes on the phone, I realized that this was going no where!

Next Day, I asked my marketing company to call and cancel since I am not seeing any value in their service. Here is what Adrianne politely emailed me on 9/8/16

Dear Adrianne,

Thank you for your empathy to my dilemma, however I am not happy with your landing page styles that you offer. Also, I don't think another call will help this situation.

Hence, per your contract in section 19, I am electing to terminate my contract for this cause. I will pay until end of 30 days.

Overall, we all want "happy clients", so they can tell others about our great service.

In addition, no one really likes "free riders." Neither you or me. So here is my point: If you continue to bill me and I don't use your service then you are free riding me.

Since we live in a social society, I will be posting the decision of your company on Yelp and G+. Please note this is for consumer advocacy only.

Let's see how you treat the lil' people.
