Wonderful music program. Great for the kids. Visit as often as you can. It will change your life
Love the friendly members & amazing vibe this church has!
This church is awesome!
It s been apart of my life for years, but when I decided to enroll my son in their MKA kids academy, my opinion was set forever.
I LOVE this church.
I LOVE MKA kids academy.
We recently moved to Georgia and it hurts every day when I drop my son off at his new school, because all he talks about is y all.
Taylor, Lauren, and Haley are awesome and truly care about the kids, and it shows.
Aedan loves y all.
Excellent focus on children s programs. Big church, small feel.
Nice huge church with plenty of parking and even had Lexington County sheriff office serving as security. Inside is pretty and sanctuary was huge with plenty of comfortable seating available. Sound system was good and I was able to hear clearly. All areas were clean, including the restroom s. Everyone was cordial and courteous. They have something here for everyone including the kids.
Mt. Horeb is home for us! We have been members for over a year and love it! They have a service for everyone. Everyone is very welcoming!
Wonderful place to fellowship.
We lean and grow weekly as we follow
Our Lord and Savior.
A place of worship where all are welcome. Come as you are to be fed with the Word and treated like family.
Mr Horeb and the people there are amazing. Great families, great youth and great and meaningful sermons.
Great concert venue. David Crowder gave us a great time of worship.
My wife and I have been members for many years. We have witnessed first hand the growth of the church by leaps and bounds under the leadership of Jeff Kiersey. Within the last several months, the Pastor and the Administrative Council have adopted a Traditional Model approach at a time an International General Conference is taking place to decide on whether or not to embrace the LGBTQAI community in regards to marriage and ordination. Irregardless of the outcome, Mt. Horeb UMC leadership has elected not to embrace the LGBTQAI community but will continue to accept them as members; accepting their tithes and talents. I believe this decision is in direct contradiction of Jesus teachings of love for one another. I believe Jesus is calling me to be an advocate at a time most of the congregation is unaware or doesn t fully understand the implications of the leadership s position. I pray daily for the leadership to have a change of heart and have faith in Jesus greatest commandment of love for all of mankind. In the end, it is Jesus who will judge us and not the Pastor or leadership of the church.
What a special and magical place to worship. The worship team is so full of life and sincere messages of faith that you cannot leave without being truly inspired to also share the word of God to others. Please if you have not been here before give it a try as there is something for everyone here and you will not be disappointed.
Today was our first visit. The contemporary service was amazing. The church talks about real issues and that s important to our family. Also, a great mix of age rages to worship with. Our children really enjoyed the children classes and we will be back again!
