Debrah Lathrop is about to get money from her mother's trust so I'm reporting her for financial fraud cause I don't think it's fair that she's about to get alot of money and still be allowed to have section 8.

Not good people. They are rude and don't respect with with low incomes.

Hard to believe a family of 5 can be on it when the head of the house is making $30 an hour. I guess some just know how to play the system. I thought this was for poor people?

I feel bad for the lady saying she is homeless with kids. I know a few people just on my block that choose not to work or when to work so they never get kicked off and the Housing Voucher people know about it but they don't care. All of these people do drugs, grow drugs, and sell drugs out of their house. You need help but these people playing the system should lose benefits and never be allowed to apply ever again. I know people that have the housing voucher and buy new cars all the time because they CAN afford it. 2 to 4 new vehicles a year and they turn around and sell it for huge profit.

The funding has been very limited. The system seems inefficient. Most low income or subsidize housing has a 2 to 5 year wait. Any program that requires you to be below average poor with a waiting list that long is broken no one should expect to be that poor for that long it's supposed to encourage us to strive for better make it out of the situation not they in it just for the help eventually.

I have been waiting for the Sction 8 from 2010 I been calling them and ask when will I ll be Eligible I am on Social Security with threats 2 children not enough income Patricia whatever her name is she keeps telling me I m on the waiting list I am on the waiting list it has been for a long time 10 years or more there s people they have everything they work make $5000 a month and driving nice vehicles and they re in section 8 they only pay $200 a month we should ve for this place Housing Authority and sounds less county to the government the people who take drugs who steals was just got out of jail they get the section need help and we re here sitting paying $1,500 a month Including utilities and food on the table tell me if this system is corrupted or not I am taking this to the government I am going to the Senate house and talk about the difference that they put between people

I don't think the people who are asking that the funding be stoped understand at all what they are asking. There are people out here that truly need this program.I am a single mother with two children who does not use drugs smoke cigerettes pot or drink alchahol I volunteer in a church in turlock and also diferent homeless food serving places in Modesto.Before 8 weeks ago I was a stay at home mom who took care of a large home and did volunteer work . now my children and I are homeless. But everywhere I call they tell me they have no funding. I would understand a higher level of screaning but cuting the program is a horrible idea.

Section 8 of Stanislaus has been very helpful my worker that just retired I m sad about because I like her a lot I hope I get a good new one! I do have a problem with fraud so many people are on this program and there needs to be a surprise inspection or something because of what goes on wasting tax Payers dollars! I feel the same way about welfare they should do a drug test to see if they have street drugs in them or too much or prescription drugs or alcohol or all the above! I ve been on section 8 for about three years I have become more disabled each year where I am so blessed to be able to be a part of this program I would not be able to make it without it and I believe there are others in the same boat .And there are plenty of people that are scamming the system!

This place is ridiculous. I don't understand them. They pick and choose who can violate the rules. My coworker and his wife make a combined income of $29 an hour and they have kids but we're denied but my neighbor makes $30 an hour is a thief and a drug dealer and they've kept him and his family. It doesn't make sense. Yeah one person is a kiss as$ but the other one is not did that make the difference? Anyway all of you making less than 30 an hour with a family of 5 or more and have been removed or denied sue them because I know others getting away with it. This isn't a help the poor this is who can play the system better and be a bold liar. Believe your lies and be convincing so they will believe you too.

I happen to know a healthy family that chooses not to work full time in order to continue receiving benefits for as long as they live. The man works on and off and the wife is trying to scam disability with a ton of disabilities she has not been diagnosed with therefore she can't work because she needs to make it seem true. If being extremely lazy and entitled is a disability then yes they are both disabled. I would LOVE to think that you have some smart people working for you and would be able to tell the difference between a person that is looking to purposely never get out of poverty because it's better if the government pays for them and it's easy for them to sit at home than go out and work and have to pay for rent/food. I know a few Heroin and Meth addicts too that receive free housing and disability. So many great government programs. . You get paid to be lazy and to be hooked on drugs.

I am very confused about this place. A couple of people at my work get assistance and they earn well over the income cut off. I know this because I put the checks in the envelopes for every employee. They have also had conversations with their case manager while at work and have shown me letters they receive from them. Some of these people this place helps have plenty of money and can afford to pay their own rent. One of the people I know pays $150 in rent a month this program pays the rest and for a family of 5 he earns $31 an hour. He spends well over $1200 on fireworks for 4th of July and another $1000+ for New years. True story. This place needs the Federal Government etc involved and Trump should be told. Money is being wasted on people that don t want to pay rent but can afford to. Many of you actually NEED the help and you are not getting it. Sue these people and file a complaint. Maybe then they ll start helping the poor.

Only places you ll be able to move is ghettos and uncomfortable houses .

If you are an honest worker that needs help you will NEVER get help. However if you lie and play them for the fools they are they will help you. My neighbor is on it and pays about $150 a month and brings in about $4000+ a month from working here and there until they try and make him pay more then he quits his jobs. This family that I am talking about is om ALL the government Aid available and this family has employees! !! Yes! They hire drug addicts to clean their house and run errands for them for $5 an hour. It's sad to see and this agency is helping those people out and MOST housing voucher holders like this family have criminal background and sell/grow drugs. If they would get smart and do unscheduled home visits and check EVERYTHING they would see the drugs but they play dumb.

They cater to drug addicts, convicted felons, people that choose to and want to stay on section 8. No matter what you do they wont kick you off. Trust me as long as you choose not to work but pretend you want to you are set. You can get away with just about anything as long as you are good at bullshitting your way out of things and a good liar. if you really are trying to get back on your feet and need the help sucks for you mate.

If you CAN afford to pay rent, sell drugs, have a criminal record, and CAN afford to throw thousands of dollars away a year they WILL help you pay rent! If you CAN'T afford to pay rent because you're a single mom trying to make it, honest, hard working, etc... they won't help you. #TRUTH

A DISASTROUS place to work! My duties as a new Administrative Assistant consisted of opening thousands of envelopes of returned mail, organizing the stacks on long conference tables and placing the stacks into boxes. The next day I would be told to unbox the same stacks of mail, re-stack it on the conference tables and wait for my next instructions. This went on for days until I found work to do in other departments. Apparently, that was considered insubordination because I was let go on day 29...THANK GOD!!! I was actually never told why I was being relieved of my duties, but it was definitely a blessing to get out of that place. Co-workers were secretive and cliquish, all desperately seeking advancement, stepping on each other to reach the "top". The conference room-turned-office space was infested with ants and the pay was EXTREMELY low. My job description and actual duties were vastly different. I would NOT recommend this agency for long-term employment.

They are pretty much helping fraud go unnoticed. I know a family of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids) only 1 person works in the home.. he earns close to $5000 a month and he only pays $50 in rent!!!

You want to know why the wait list is so long? THEY KNOW that there's people clearly abusing the program and taking advantage of it and they do NOTHING. YOU EVER WONDER WHY ALL THE PEOPLE ON SECTION 8 ETC.. HAVE SUCH NICE THINGS? BETTER CAR THAN THE PEOPLE WORKING FULL TIME THEY USE THE $800 THAT WOULD BE FOR RENT AND GET NEW CARS ETC... THEY CHOOSE TO NOT WORK AND ONLY WORK ENOUGH TO GET TAXES and they figure the government WILL pay for them so why work.. section 8 won't kick those people off so. If you're lazy and you know it get section 8 because no matter what you do they will fight for you so you don't get kicked off the program.

This place is a joke. They only help people who abuse the system...
