I don't think the people who are asking that the funding be stoped understand at all what they are asking. There are people out here that truly need this program.I am a single mother with two children who does not use drugs smoke cigerettes pot or drink alchahol I volunteer in a church in turlock and also diferent homeless food serving places in Modesto.Before 8 weeks ago I was a stay at home mom who took care of a large home and did volunteer work . now my children and I are homeless. But everywhere I call they tell me they have no funding. I would understand a higher level of screaning but cuting the program is a horrible idea.
