Very expensive pieces so be careful not to try break things

Interesting and different not everyones cup of tea, kept very clean

The tour is fun and I enjoyed seeing the crystal being made! The show room has absolutely beautiful pieces!

This house of glass has acquired a reputation for manufacturing crystals that has few equals. Apparently this Waterford establishment has long since ceased to be a commercial factory but has retained all the charm associated with crystal manufacturing.

The museum is an eye opener and one can go through the history of Waterford Crystal. There is a small manufacturing premises but that s more for exhibition rather than large commercial intentions.

As we were part of a large 40 plus group of travellers with Trafalgar, the guided tour that followed was very enriching and exciting. Look at the photo and check out the intricacy in the gramophone made of crystal.

The staff is (or was anyway when we visited in June 2017) cheerful and guide you to making the best purchases. They are quick to explain about the different pieces of crystals on display and generally you will want to spend more time (and probably money!) than you had earlier bargained.

So people, loosen your purse strings and enjoy the visit to Waterford Crystal.

Short, informative tour. Sometimes difficult to hear the tour guide despite the microphones in some of the busier bits.

The factory tour was neat, great to see the pieces being made through all of the stages of the process. The showroom is stunning.

Both adults and kids (youngest 9) enjoyed this. Very insightful and informative. The skill of the master craftsmen was amazing to view.

Really enjoyed the guided tour. You get to see exactly what goes into crafting an artisan crystal piece. However it's a touch too expensive in my opinion. And wish they would add something in the hallway after the etching department as you exit. Still rather enjoyed myself. Their work is amazing!! Please go. Support their work in Ireland.

Great to see up close the craftsmanship. Guide was great but not over bearing. Can now see why Waterford glass is expensive. Take the tour!

Didn't take the tour, but the showroom that is open to the public has many stunning pieces that are displayed very well.

The factory tour is wonderful. Once I seen how the crystal is made, it makes me appreciate the pieces I have even more. They had a large collection of items that are small enough to put in my carry-on. The cafe had everything we needed for a quick break.

This was a fascinating tour to see how all the crystal is made! The gift shop is a bit frustrating because it is very pricey, but the staff are very friendly and willing to help you understand their specials and their policies. They ship overseas, which is really nice if you're worried about breaking a souvenir or fitting it in your luggage.

I thought it would be boring because its crystal and I did not understand why it is expensive. The tour takes you through the steps of making each item and it is ridiculously cool!

Nice demonstration of the skills needed to create Waterford crystal. You observe the actual craftsman doing their work, and the guides can answer even detailed questions. At the end you can purchase crystal including some pieces made only at that location.

A very interesting place to visit and I'm really pleased to be able to see how they make their craft. Well done to them for sharing.

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting Waterford Crystal and going on the factory tour. Being from Dublin, Ireland you usually ignore these tourist destinations but would highly recommend taking a visit. You don't necessarily need to have an interest in the glass or purchasing pieces. The staff were very friendly and the prices for the tour are pretty decent. The tour lastest roughly 50 minutes and you were brought through each stage and given an explanation of each process by your guide and you could see first hand the staff working on pieces. My partner took a great interest during our tour and was speaking with some of the craftspeople and they were very happy to explain in further detail what they were working on or about the processes. They had some beautiful pieces on show.

Amazing tour, got to hold one off, custom Waterford pieces and see the intricacies of making Crystal. I really never understood what made Crystal different from normal glass, this tour blew my mind in that department, extremely informative. They have great gifts such as Christmas ornaments in the shop at the end.

Fabulous experience, we went on the tour of the waterford Crystal which was fascinating. We actually held some trophies wow they were heavy. Well worth a trip beautiful Crystal

Wonderful tour of the factory except for the extra loud intro. Fabulous cakes at the cafe including lots of choice for gluten free folk. Loos very clean and smart.

A thousand thanks to the people here. We showed up 3 minutes after 4 and missed the last tour, but they let us run in and join the last one and pay at the end. Their kindness and willingness to let us in saved our trip to waterford and made my mother's birthday complete. The facility is great and the tour is very informative. I loved the no wall kind of tour they run. You can ask the craftsman questions if you want and they showed us stuff hidden away and stuff they were proud of. The store at the facility is beyond description. You simply have to go.

Had a lovely lunch at the cafe in the House of Waterford Crystal. Very well laid out for social distancing. Would highly recommend a visit lovely food and friendly staff.

Traveled here from America and went on the tour. Waterford town had plenty of parking nearby, though we wouldn t have minded walking further, it is a lovely little town. The House of Waterford Crystal was a respite from the cold weather- this was in early spring. The front of house staff were polite and attentive, there is wifi and tasteful restrooms. The tour was informative and it was neat to see the world famous being made. The tour leader was charismatic and made the small group feel friendly and welcomed. We were able to hold several pieces and ask questions throughout. If you fancy crystal, local history, or have a bit of time, this is a fun afternoon experience.

Everything is available in glass. You can buy ready to go or place an order. It truly is a wonderful piece of art what they do with glass.

Awesome tour that the whole family enjoyed !! Learn about Waterford Crystal and see how it's made touring the factory. Recommend if you're in the area for a couple hours of family fun !!

Well worth time (1h) and money, you get to see and touch handmade crystals from the moment of melting and blowing up to cutting and engraving. You can feel the heat of the furnace and the water from sanding as everything happens right in front of you live.

Honestly, the whole production of fascinating crystals, but 35e for a family of 2 + 2 is a bit too much
