Such a treat to see how the great crystal is made. If you visit pay the little extra and do the tour.
Great lunchroom. Great gift shop. Great tour of the making of a world renowned product.
You have to visit it. And buy some clover earrings.
Lovely pieces and helpful staff. Didn't take the tour due to time constraints
Fascinating visit to the factory. Pity the shop is so busy.
Excellent. Worth every Cent. Friendly Staff. Super Service. Wonderful Coffee Shop with Sumptious food and the Coffee Shop Staff are so quick and pleasant.
Service with a Warm Glow.
Its a Must to Shop here as The Crystal is worth its weight in Gold. I Love taking the Cruise Tours here.
Interesting but disappointed to discover that the glasses I was interested in were from Slovakia
Fantastic and interesting place where you can discover the world of crystal working on a wonderful tour inside the factory
Yes it's a beautiful place, However I wouldn't buy again. They con you into to buying with so called discounts and claim to send you your items but never do. When you try to contact them through the email they give they never respond. Just a complete disappointment.
Great tour and very friendly staff. Interestingly the crystal company as it is now is from the 1950s. It was a little disappointing
The service at this store is very good, the salespeople are readily available and eager to assist with your purchase. Waterford is not inexpensive, it is beautiful and timeless.
The tour was fun! Not too long and very informative, I liked it.
Staff could be a bit more proactive in keeping the floor clean instead of standing around talking
Love it! Its great to have possibility to see how this crystal art is made.
Arrived for early morning coffee and had a Portugese custard tart with it. Both good quality. Helpful staff. Good wifi. Nice view of Bishop's palace opposite. Will rendezvous here again.
It was nice to see the talented glassblowers at work.
Visited Waterford Glass on Wednesday and had a wonderful tour with 2 friends and really enjoyed it, seeing what happens from start to final production of various pieces. We spent some time in the showroom and what a great group of people we met there, each one so helpful. Thank you all.
Was great to see how crystal was made and finished off. Many colours and designs.
If you like crystal you have to do the Waterford tour. The tour is not very long but really interesting to see how the items are made.
Made to trip down to Waterford And stay a few days to enjoy the beautfull town
A must for all tourists to see when visiting Waterford , Take the tour if you can
Items not manufactured in Waterford- all made in China
Very educational! Amazing artistry and craftsmanship go into each piece. Even if you aren't "into" crystal, it is worth the tour to see how it is made and I now understand why it is so expensive.
Interesting tour of how the glass is blown and ground into various pieces.
Breathtaking art made of glass, a short visit is worthwhile.
Here we are 15 minutes before the end nochnal through. It was enough for us too. The richness of detail with which artworks are made of glass is really incredible. What you can not replicate everything from glass kan. The Presie for such a thing are of course immense. Still, it's really fascinating. Even if you are not interested in something like that, you should make a short stopover here.
Fascinating tour. I had carried some nice wine glasses home.
Very interesting tour and showroom and they ship to the US and EU for free
Very nice showroom.
The last time I was at Waterford it was the original and I think that was better. With that said, it s still very cool with fantastic pieces.
A must see!
Far more interesting than I thought it would be. Well worth the visit!
Fantastic nuala couldn't do enough to make sure that your stay was very pleasant and friendly I would recommend this b and b thank you.matt.
Great tour. The guide and staff share their true passion for creating beauty.
Tourist magnet. Wanted you tour but not willing to waste two hours in line waiting. We skipped it and moved on. Recommend avoiding.
The tour is awesome! Well worth it to see how this incredible crystal is crafted!
The tour is good but it's a shame that the production is not still done in Ireland
Great factory tour where you can see all the stages in the process of making Waterford crystal. Last tour of the day is 4:15 in the summer and they have a little Cafe with coffee and cakes. There is of course also a gift shop.
Was a nice tour where you got to see the crystal getting made. Amazing look at the real process happening right in front of you.
The only problem is that while the guide was wearing a microphone the speakers were barely on (and appeared to get quieter the further away from the guide you were ) which meant that I missed a lot. Additionally I had to huddle around the guide rather than trying to get a good view of the craftspeople working.
And good place to understand the history of Waterford.
Very interesting place. Love the history and importance of this place to the city of Waterford.
Beautiful, the tour was neat but unsure of the cost as it was provided by our tour group.
I really like this place. A lot of beauty and sophistication.
The tour is very informative, you see the masters at work. It's about 45 minutes long and great for children too.
Good place to visit once if you are in Ireland. Tour is very well organised and provide enough information about place. You visit actual factory not a museum and see live work.
Mind blowing, craft seriously, this work must have been inspired by the Gods.
I was assisted by a beautiful sales consultant Margaret. She went out of her way to show me the variety of vases on offer. She gave me plenty of time to make up my mind. I purchased a beautiful base from her. I will definitely be back and hope to be served by Margaret again.
It was good to watch the glass blowing. Prices are out of my range
We had a very special visit. Thanks to Sean, Noel and we shall raise a glass of red to Tom who all made our experience as long term collectors of this great brand, personal and special to us.
Amazing worksite and showroom. So glad it's still providing some economy to Waterford Ireland. Super skilled workers, gorgeous glassware. Worth a visit for sure.
Very nice tour. We were part of a tour group & were lucky to have 2 tour guides. Walking through the factory and seeing the process of creating the crystal ware was very exciting. I did not buy anything though. Too expensive & difficult to cart back via plane.
Very informative show room with tour, distinct craftmanship of each piece, very convenient centralized location
This is such an amazing place and among tourist attraction in Ireland's Waterford. They do have a paid tour and give you a complete tour.
Every piece made in this factory is beautiful! I was surprised to find that they also make commissioned pieces as well! Did you know House of Waterford makes the panels in the Millennial Ball seen in Times Square NY on New Years Eve?
