My mother has been collecting Waterford crystal for 35 years. This was an honorary trip for her... The tour was awesome and the facility is incredible. Their staff is knowledgeable and professional , but the tour was our what made the trip. I like seeing finished products, don't get me wrong.... But to actually see how the process is done from start to finish was once in a lifetime for me. Personally I'd like to join the apprenticeship and work here one day. Enjoy all the pictures!!

Beautiful crystal work by their fine craftsman! Through taking the tour you learn about their extensive Crystal blowing processes and even see how passionate they are about their work!

A really cool and detailed tour that shows you why Waterford crystal is so expensive. Didn't buy anything but did appreciate the way the factory tour was laid out for guests. Highly recommend. Plus it's right next to Viking Triangle, which means tons of historical places to visit too!

The tour was very interesting and educational, for those of us who could hear our guide. It would be greatly enhanced with audio for the tour.

Fascinating look into production of films of the most beautiful crystal ware in the world

Interesting to see how a piece of crystal is transformed into a beautiful end product.

Located in the heart of Waterford city centre with a big, cheap parking close from the building and with easy access to public transport. The whole building feels and looks premium. I recommend getting the tour of the factory as it is very interesting. There are tons of beautiful crystal sculptures. Would recommend for anyone visit Waterford city.

Brilliant place to visit make sure you go around with the guide they really know their history and make it very interesting would definitely recommend

- Shop clearly looks for richer clientele and swarms round them to prize as much money as they can from their fingers, leaving others (like us) well alone despite us wishing to purchase items.

The whole experience is well worth the visit, but just watch how the staff move when a coach tour of American visitors draw up, it's quite embarrassing to watch.

The Waterford Crystal factory is pretty fascinating. It is a working factory, so you get to see pretty much all facets (no pun intended) of the creation of their intricate crystal productions. We saw stemmed glasses, bowls, vases, etc., being blown/molded, cut, etched and polished, all along with explanations from a nice tour guide and good notations and signage throughout the factory. They even have some signage that is intended for children, with questions and little doors to open to reveal the answers. There is an amount of walking, but the whole tour area is well -maintained and well-lit. There is also a large showroom with opportunities to purchase items, of course.

A very nice tour showing how some of the Waterford crystal is manufactured. I especially enjoyed seeing a very nice collection of historical and current finished pieces of Waterford. I recommend a visit to House of Waterford Crystal to appreciate how quality crystal is made.

I have seen Waterford crystal all my life, bit to see the process and hear the history of this great luxury name is just outstanding.

It is a great stop in a nice small town.

You have the opportunity to purchase some "factory only" items that make great gifts or even better, heirlooms.

If you buy anything, don't expect a discount price but you get what you pay for and their products are top of the line.

Lovely place to eat,pieces are to pricey,but beautiful

Fantastic tour, you really get a sense of the craftsmanship that goes into the crystal, as well how crystal is made and what goes into it. The tour is through a working factory, so you get to see day-to-day operations. In fact, we were there while one apprentice was taking her exams. You get to hold several amazing crystal pieces, as well as pieces in various stages of construction. All-in-all a wonderful experience!

I would highly recommend the factory tour - the craftsmanship is amazing and the process of cutting the crystal is very interesting. Of course the prices of everything are unsurprisingly expensive.

Didn't take the tour, but the showroom was pretty and had some intriguing display pieces. We very specifically came to buy something, but otherwise not sure of the time/value. The sales staff were very helpful and patient. Hassle-free, no-pushiness, tax-free shopping!

So pleased we made the time to enjoy a tour here. Even my teenage sons enjoyed it and were appreciative of the history, skill and final product. I definitely recommend setting an hour and a half aside to experience this.

Excellent visitors' centre. Very good tour guide. Able to see 'up close' very skilful manufacturing processes. Beautiful and exquisite glass pieces on display.

This house has a long tradition of making beautiful sculptures out of crystal. Yoi can see a lot of them when you come in, no need to buy any ticket and yoi can even biy some if you like them.
If you like you can even take a guided tour of how the crystals are made.
