This place is not tired at all! I read some reviews that put me off... Very well kept and very comfortable. The staff were all super friendly. We arrived really tired and early and as the room was ready they checked us in.
I'd stay again. Classic old skool 5 star hotel and very well kept.

It seems that Wagner stayed for 3 years. (1998/05/27)

Visited for home medical visits. It is a pleasant hotel, where tradition, luxury and spaces intertwine nicely in a refined and refined environment. The staff always extremely focused on the customer makes it very "fairy tale". I am sure that a guest is a very good on the hospitality experience.

Loved the hotel; didn't love the street noise - even with all the shutters/blinds/curtains closed tight. Is probably the same for every hotel in downtown Palermo though. Would recommend bringing earplugs.

The Grand hotel like in the movies! It has maintained the typical style of the genre despite the quality of the structure. Impeccable service, well-kept rooms, completely renovated bathrooms. The period style that truly evokes arthouse films but without that 'dusty patina' that many similar structures present. Room service twice a day, great comfort, excellent breakfast and room slippers ... soft to fall in love with !!!!

Fantastic location in the heart of Palermo ideal for visiting the entire historic center on foot, ranging from the Cathedral to the Foro Italico and along the entire Via Maqueda. Structure with classic furnishings with atmospheres of other times in line with a city where the noble palaces are widespread. Extreme kindness of all the staff. Great availability at the reception and at breakfast in the morning. Comfortable room and super clean and shiny bathroom like, after all, the whole structure. I will recommend it and will return there.

About 25 minutes walk from Palermo Central Station. If you're traveling with a suitcase or large backpack, consider staying. At the time of booking, I wanted a room that allowed smoking (there was a smoking or not in the check box), but said it was impossible. The last day of my trip was deliberately staying at a hotel because I had work to do, but it didn't make any sense. The room next to it seems to have a terrace, so it seems that smoking was allowed.

There are two lamps, but if the main lamp (ceiling) is turned off, the lower stand will also go out. Some outlets were embarrassed because they didn't have electricity, and the best part was that the legs of the wooden chairs shook severely. When I first sat down, I thought it was a rocking chair. Even the chair went back every time he stood up. this?

When checking out, the tourist tax will be charged at 3 euros, so please refer to it, and I would like to give you 2 points because the breakfast was somewhat okay after having a 1 star rating.

+The bed and bathroom weren't bad, but that would be the same for other hotels. It is recommended for those who are most important to the high-class interior. Ah. You took very good pictures of the room.

Excellent both in the attention to detail and in the foresight of the friendly and efficient staff, the only flaw is the air conditioning a little noisy and the cleaning not exactly impeccable, but the location and the beauty of the structure make the stay a real pamper for the spirit .

We had a great 2-night stay at Grand Hotel Wagner. The room was really clean, breakfast good and the service super; staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is much prettier than the pictures with beautiful paintings on the walls and ceilings. I recommend this place!

I must admit that among all the hotels near politeama I chose this one because it is 5 star! From the structures in which I stayed this hotel is not far behind, and I think that among the 5 stars that are in the area this is the one that comes closest! Everything really perfect, the only sore point in addition to the windows still in the 70s and the parking that is 300 meters from the structure and if you have to take something in cars personally you have to take a nice walk! For the rest I highly recommend it

Clean, cozy, friendly staff, luxurious, classic decorations, very near to the historical Palermo, i think it takes 15 to 20 min by walk to reach the Cathedral of Palermo from there, many shopping and dinner options are nearby, its around 30 to 40 far from the airport, 15 min walking to the harbour.

A very nice hotel ideally located you must love the old style I love bar discretion the rooms are lacking a bit of soundproofing street noise can be heard modern spacious bathroom with regard to small lunches nothing to say the staff is there ready to satisfy your desires the only problem is the large terrace where we have breakfast there is hot lack of ventilation but there is not much so everything is done so that the stay goes well

Great location, good breakfast, old hotel, but something really scandalous happens: if you come by car, they take a key and park it. When we got the car back, as soon as we started driving, we felt like they were driving in the car: the fuel gauge went down, the seats were tuned differently, the radio was tuned at a high volume. We kept going. When we stopped after many kilometers, we saw that we had been knocked over. The distance was too much to return, and no one bothered to update the matter. We travel a lot, nothing like that has happened to us yet.
