I stayed 4 nights and highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. I would rate it 4 star not 5 but it s main appeal for me is that it is small and personalised. It is centrally located, very clean and comfortable rooms, excellent mattress, nice views of the city or parklands, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The tour desk arranged several trips for me and the drivers were all excellent and mostly spoke reasonable English. The coffee shop is 24/7 although if you have a departure prior to 7 am and want breakfast, you need to ask for a take away pack the night before. This was not very interesting, but sufficed.

Last one year I am staying in this hotel during my Delhi visit , best place to stay in CP area, high class business hotel with all facilities and close to all kind of necessary needs.....

Covers most of the aspects a hotel of this category must cover but I was really disappointed with one of the cheap tricks used by the hotel to cheat customers onto booking rooms online. There were already two customers questioning the staff about the same thing when I was going to bring this up with the reception.
They don't mention the GST in the room booking confirmation and the amount mentioned in large letters on the confirmation email and on online portals it's apparently excluding GST. This confuses customers as all other rates given online always include GST and Metropolitan's rate is disguised among others at 28% less than its actual rate.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The best part about MET is the location. Clean rooms n hotel grounds. The restaurants n services r expensive n i didnt find them value for money

Hotel services were excellent. Rooms were adequate, but could be enhanced by adding more universal outlets (especially in the bathroom). Food was expensive for average quality. Overall ranking is about a 4.25.

They should call their hotel 2 star instead of 5 star:(

We were in The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa few months ago and we find the hotel very accessible to all the establishment in the city. The rooms are ok but there is no internet which is very important for the guest who wants to update about there social media accounts. The staff are nice specially the waiter in the name of Mr.Pandit Ravi Bharmori who were very accommodating and very kind everytime we take our meals in the restaurant. Thumbs up Mr. Pandit Ravi Bharmori. We will comeback in New Delhi and make sure to stay again in your hotel.

It was a very good stay. Friendly staff and nice environment. Rooms are bit smaller.

One of the cheaper options for a five star hotel. Staffs are cooperative but food is not that great.

An excellent hotel located in the heart of Delhi. Nice ambience & decor. Good food options. Very well connected to all major destinations.

Not impressed. Expensive and does not have matching facilities. lobby is almost non-existent. If you do have guests can't entertain them here for quiet discussion. Pool is very good with helpful staff. On a weekend they suddenly put in 10-15 people to decor the place for the night and simply not done in view of ladies swimming at that point in time.

The place where it's situated is a calm place of Delhi. Service and behavior of staffs are too good in this hotel.

Does not have attractive lobby what 5 star hotel should be. service and rooms are average not value for money. Only attraction is near to Gurudawara and Cannout place

Value for money if you just need it for night stay. Otherwise quality of room and facilities are poot.

Everything is so over the top cool. Located at the city centre every place to visit is near by tuk tuk. The staff was very helpful especially the concierge lady sachi was astonishingly brilliant and very knowledgeable. Thank you for arranging the dinner at the awesome place. There is nothing not to love about this place.

Location was good, bathrooms were spacious but a little old (caulking needed to be redone in my room). They upgraded the TV in my room during my stay though, so it seems to be moving the right way. Room service food was standard room service (too salty, but acceptable if not inspired). Staff were very helpful, and cars were always available, though these were very dated (and since they were flat fee the prices could tend to be outrageous depending on the location). Wi-Fi was reliable but fairly slow (posted 500kbps, but managed to stream YouTube every day and could usually get a couple minutes of video calling in before the connection would struggle). Breakfast had a few different options (japanese influence here) plus an egg station where you could order whatever you wanted.

Overall, if you want to make sure you're comfortable, and have most of the top hotel trappings, it could be a decent value play.

Hidden property, blessing in disguise, food is exemplary, service is also good, in the heart of the city it's the best affordable property.
