Amazing hotel in a great location within the city. The staff is superb, friendly, trained well to make you feel welcome. The rooms are well cleaned and inviting. Will definitely stay at again next time in New York City.

Fantastic! King room is especially large for NYC, very clean. Helpful and informative staff. Again (it bears repeating) - very clean room and bathroom. Perfect location! Close to a lot, and there's a subway station at the end of the block. First floor has a fantastic sake bar. Will definitely be visiting again!

room is okay, entrance looks great, but service is questionable. seems like they don't know what they're doing. air conditioning/heaters are confusing as well? our room was freezing all the time. asked the front desk for instructions on how to change the temperatures, but didn't work. had to get a portable heater from them in the future. other than that, the hotel isn't terrible, but could've been better!

Friendly staff and a great location make the facilities obsolete. The subway station is just 10 meters away, making it easy to get around, and there are Korean marts across the street, Korean restaurants and department stores nearby, so you can enjoy shopping and dining. There was no bed bug. I experienced an upgraded breakfast buffet as a testing period, and I was happy with it for free. ^^ After the testing period, there is an additional charge.

The restaurant/bar (1986 Est) on the 2nd floor had a great ambiance and amazing drink options. The atmosphere is great if you want to have an intimate date and actually want to hear the other person's words.

The location as well as the price is very good. Equipment is average and a bit old. Staff is friendly, bar, wine lounge and sushi restaurant are directly connected. You should have breakfast where else.

Excellent hotel, impeccable attention! The cleaning is very good! The breakfast is regular since it lacks variety but what is there is very rich and lots of it! Its strategic location in the center of New York is the best !! Surrounded by large stores and outlets! The subway to 10 meters and banks nearby! Highly recommended! To take into account any traveler!

Mid-range hotel in the heart of Manhattan, which stands out for its excellent location. Our room was spacious, a little worn but clean. The bathroom was functional with no obvious defects. Negative point was the window which pointed into a shaft and therefore no daylight in the room read. The breakfast was bleak even by American standards and demanded to bring along its own treats.

Great for quality / price. The location is perfect, you are halfway to everything (behind the Empire state building). The room is spacious and clean, the breakfast included in the price is fair. I advise

Located right in the heart of Koreatown, this hotel is great to stay in if you want to be near all of the dining and nightlife. Service is easy, quick, and friendly. Nothing too special with amenities but it is clean, has free WiFi, and complimentary breakfast.

Hotel with unbeatable quality / price in Manhattan, simple but clean and comfortable room, breakfast not very varied but sufficient, nice staff and location behind the ESB and a few blocks from Times Square, perfect for a few days visit to NYC

We had two Korean staff at the front desk so it was very convenient !! And besides, it is close to the core tourist attraction and Korean town is right in front of me. And there is a lounge bar on the second floor. If you are a guest, you can rent for free and all the juice cookies are delicious. I went around and remembered that I had a bit of a dip in the chaff after I had a glass of juice ... The room was okay. It is clean and spacious .. But the view is shit ^^ The view from the window is the side of the building next door. I am satisfied with both location and service

Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent location because super central (near the empire, macy's, a stone's throw from bryant park and times square !!!) Importantly, it's super clean! Breakfast not the top but it doesn't matter!

Not very large rooms but cmq equipped with all comforts. From some rooms you can see the empire which is very close. Prices are affordable. The breakfast was not the best ... little variety and mediocre food.

Quick and fun stop in for the bar happy hour where the bartender and waitstaff were friendly though aloof, keeping out of the group conversations and letting you chat on your own by the piano or bar.

Really nice and comfortable place in the heart of the City. The staff is extremely kind and the prices are affordable. I strongly recommend it! -- Ottimo hotel per location (tra l'Empire State Building e Macy's), gentilezza e cortesia dello staff, a prezzi molto convenienti. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Great location, close to the Empire State Building and Times Square for walking. Metro at 100m. I stayed in a modest room, with two very comfortable double beds and a good bathroom. Breakfast with plenty of variety and lots. Everyone friendly and did I mention the location?

Hotel with an unbeatable location in Manhattan attached to the Empire State and at a good price. Breakfast is very basic and where every day is the same with a very small lounge that is saturated at rush hour and you have to wait to sit down and have breakfast. The rooms are spacious but quite dated with carpet on the floor, windows that let the cold and noise pass and with a bathroom from the 90s. Although the entrance hall is renovated and very beautiful, the rest of the common areas are outdated and need renovation. The hotel only has an elevator for 12 floors and this means that at times you have to wait more than the bill to take it. The Wi-Fi of the hotel is free although nothing goes well and every little time you are without using it you have to put the password and the user again. The hotel staff is very friendly and nice, especially the cleaning staff.

Great location, most major attractions are within walking distance. The free breakfast is great as well. The hotel room was a little run down but was still nice. The only cons were the poor wifi and only having one usable outlet in a two person room.

Room small, not soundproof, no view, bed attached on two sides of the room, there was just enough room to move sideways and go to the bathroom in which you could only stay there with half a body, not recommended for a honeymoon, seemed a journey of job, location was not bad, cold staff not available to offer information, breakfast was not international and not quality.

Fraud, scam, do not believe the opinions of this hotel are completely faked, old rooms or overlooking a wall. Chaos with the only elevator.es a Chinese hotel that does not understand or give any service, it is worse than many pensions, no exaggeration, they charged us 270 per night for rooms that in maniatar should not be worth 100, a pension Chinese, embarrassing

Hidden in the train wreck know as KTown is a bar that is actually respectable. est. 1986 is the exact opposite of what KTown is known for. Instead of getting trashed off of soju and singing karaoke into the wee hours of the night, 1986 serves up some class, and peace and quiet. Once you make your way up the stairs of this nondescript hotel and open the front door, you're transformed to an intimate, and chill establishment. Both times that I came here were during the weekend, and both times this place wasn't packed. At most, there were about 3-4 others aside from my party, which made it even better. Perhaps when I was 23, I could deal with loud bars, where the only way to talk is to yell at the top of your lungs. Nowadays, I kind of just like to chill, especially if it's a date, so places like these definitely do the trick. This bar is set up with a small bar, as well as little booths/stools for small parties of 2-4. As far as the drinks go, you're pretty much coming here for some wine or cocktails. Price-wise, it's usually around the same price as your other cocktail bars, with drinks ranging from $10-$15. For myself, I stay with the my Manhattan and Old Fashioned, which they actually is pretty decent here. I do believe that there is food served here, but if you're actually hungry, then you might as well just leave, and pick a random spot in KTown to grab a meal. est. 1986 has already claimed the title of my favorite bar in Ktown. It's chill, intimate, and serves up some great drinks, all without the mayhem that is known as Koreatown.

This is for the lounge upstairs. Walk in the hotel, take the stairs in your light of sight. Very cool vibe. Chill. Jazzy music with some Asian mixed in there. Sofas and arm chairs instead of your typical wooden sh!ts. Good stuff. The cocktails definitely leave something to be desired. Happy hour is nice, though. 5-8, bunch of wines, beers, and half off well drinks. Placed seemed to empty out when it ended.

Good location 10 minutes walk from the empire and time square. The metro is also nearby. Small double bed, bathroom without shower but with tub and curtain. Small room. Very low energy voltage, so hair straighteners and the like do not work. Older hotel but fairly clean (the carpet not much in truth). Bad breakfast: very little choice (yogurt, cornflacs, muffins, bread, one type of jam, milk and tea). Don't expect American breakfast, I recommend Andrew for a great breakfast. I think we can find better

We stayed at Hotel Stanford for one week in January and will definitely be back. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, the room was very spacious and clean. We were also given a complimentary bottle of wine and two bottles of water which was a nice touch.

Went to the bar on the second floor, est 1986, for happy hour. Very cozy environment like someone's living room. It didn't get too crowded on a Thursday night. Good selection of wines for 50% off during happy hour!
