Wonderful place, very rigorous safety standards, easy parking
I frequent this excellent restaurant often as I like the good mood that is part of this place. The personel is extremely helpful and experienced. The service is absolutely rapid. Also, the food they cook is magnificent. I frequent many times and I was always satisfied. The price is reasobable. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
Simple food well done. Nice unpretentious atmosphere. Good service. Parking is a bit of a nightmare in the small lot.
Friendly, romantic and very French! The place was packed, but with a reservation, our wait time was less than 3 minutes. Authentic menu, well-prepared. Great and thoughtful service. A lovely meal, a lovely evening. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful ambience, delicious food and friendly, helpful and professional waiters. Had Burgundy braised short ribs mmmmm good!
Lovely place to have a celebration. The food and service was outstanding for our party of 20+!!
Good foods. Steaks and Fries were underwhelming. Fries look like they came from a bottom of a bag. NY steak was thick. So it was very raw inside. Grilled Salmon was great and taste healthy. Budding dessert was awesome. Red wine, house, was not really good. It has a nice environment
Fantastic food, super nice staff, regularly good character. They charge fair prices and the food quality is awesome. Keep up the good work.
We tried this location, after being a loyal customer for over 15 years, the Sherman Oaks location. It was OK, not as good as the old place. The bread was not as fresh as always, and my pasta was a little cold. Otherwise, I would give it another try.
The boss is super nice if you like
Eating refined dishes is the place must address
Outstanding atmosphere, food and staff. Been here several times and it is always sensational.
Wonderful food wonderful prices fast service always crowded need reservations I've been going to Cafe Bizou for years and years excellent quality
last night was the first time we went to this place. But It is absolutely not the last time. We had great time with the excellent service, with the great food and fine drinks and with the friendly payment. We will absolutely go back there in a short time.
We so enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance. Will be back soon
Nice staff and atmosphere, great variety on the menu.
Delicious food, friendly staff! Highly recommend for an awesome food experience.
Great coffee cafe. Staff were polite. Desire prices.
Moderately good food, quirky waiter, sickly sweet cocktails. Any place that over cooks pasta gets no more than 3 stars from me. The appetizers were good, not memorable. Desserts pretty much the same. Cocktails way too sweet and lacking in the interesting complexity that sets apart a really good drink from a candy cane. The night we were there we were by far the youngest in the place, and we are not that young. Not a hip joint but ok for a quiet meal if you are with someone who does not need to be impressed.
Cafe Bizou has an excellent t cuisine (French. But also the usual American fare) and a warm, intimate atmosphere, even when full to capacity. It is to its credit that most of its clientele followed it to Calabasas after the Sherman Oaks branch closed down. It is the right place to go if you like traditional French cooking at reasonable prices.
Found this place by surprise. But end up is a great choice. Tried the happy hour menu. From lobster soup, seafood pasta. It met my expecting on my high side.
Very friendly service and very good food. Simply prepared.
What an incredible meal. Cafe Bizou takes fine dining, and makes it affordable with a bring your own wine for only a $2 corkage. Their happy hour prices are perfect, and the meal is superb. Loved the baked mushrooms and seafood linguini. Happy to have cafe bizou so close to home.
Not as good as the original, will be making the drive out to the valley
Great food, staff and well worth the drive from Pasadena!!
Some of the best food in West LA, period. Super cheap corkage fee. Amazing place in general.
Excellent experience from walking in the door and being greeted by owner Philippe.
Seated and drink order taken was may be 10 min
Meals was served hot and excellent taste.
Great food at a great price .
Very cozy French atmosphere.
Stuff are very professional and friendly.
I fall in love with this place.
Close to home, great food, and service. The martini was wonderful!
This place is as good as the Sherman Oaks one. I can't even tell which one I prefer. They both are good.
Great food at a fair price. Corkage fee cheapest anywhere!
Great food. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. I love this place!
The food and service were great as usual. Cafe bizou always takes great care of me whenever I dine with them.
One of my favorite restaurants.
Been going to the other location in Sherman Oaks since they opened 25 years ago. Sadly the Sherman Oaks location has shut down recently.
Visited this new location for the first time a couple weeks ago.
Same people, same menu, same top notch food & service.
Such good value! Picked up the prix fix on a whim and oh my gosh was the food fantastic! Big fan.
Girlfriend surprised me with birthday dinner at Cafe Bizou, and I need to share it is rather spectacular, perfect welcoming staff, service was excellent, the atmosphere was quite serene, nice decor, white table cloth, warm, almost a full More
I certainly enjoy their food and service, good area to where I live. The staff members are always super friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Fab service, incredible food and only a 2 dollar cork fee...bring your.own wine and save
We had a very good experience here. The food was very good and the prices were very reasonable for the atmosphere and the type of restaurant
Absolutely fantastic evening from start to finish. Cozy place reasonable prices for great French style food. They have two other locations besides this one. Sherman Oaks and Pasadena.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Great reasonably priced food and the service is great.
Restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping center in Agoura Hills, right off of Canwood and Reyes Adobe. There can be a wait, but the way I see it, the food is completely worth a few minutes of my time.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating (with heating). Super cheap corkage fee, so feel free to buy a bottle (or bottles) and bring it with you. Really good French food, large portions, always cooked perfectly, and the service is always exceptional.
I highly recommend their french onion soup and the escargot, they're huge and they're super garlicy, just the way I like 'em!
Actually 4.75 stars because the waiter added a small charge that he had agreed not to add for a substitution on the prix fixe menu. But a very minor issue with an otherwise excellent experience. Impeccable service without being LA-in-your-face. The place was surprisingly full on a Wednesday night but not overfull: buzzing but not stressed. "Rich folks" generally know a good value when they see it - too bad more Conejo Valley restaurants don't understand this; instead they price up because they think the "upscale market" can bear it, then close after a couple of years because they can't keep a steady clientele. Locals love places like Cafe Bizou - not cheap but good value. Fantastic French food - the prix fixe menu is great, please keep it going!
DELICIOUS meals. $2 corkage. Patio dining with great service. Highly recommend it.
Really did love this restaurant, wonderful ambiance, delicious food and such a great price.
I only did one last star because I had called the restaurant in advance to ask about my allergies and they told me that they would have no problem making anything I ordered without seasoning. When I got to the restaurant and ordered the beef bourguignon which looked absolutely amazing they told me that they would not be able to make it because it was already pre-marinated and seasoned. I was super disappointed because of this because I had already been told they would be able to do it no problem obviously understandable it's a mistake no big deal.
I got the three course meal for $25. For our starters, my friend got the baked mushrooms and I ordered the berry fig salad with goat cheese. Delish!!
For our entrees my friend ordered the beef bourguignon and I ordered the steak frites with a side of asparagus. Delish! Forgot to mention that when we did arrive they did give us bread and butter and delicious water :-)
For dessert I ordered the flourless chocolate cake which came with a delicious raspberry sauce and my friend ordered the tiramisu which was just as delicious.
The ambiance is amazing the staff is wonderful and the food is delicious. A must try! Make sure to check out their menu online to see what options you have for your meal and most of all, enjoy!!
I wanted to add that the bathrooms are beautifully decorated the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous but I really like the outdoor seating area they really have made it exceptional!
Excellent food. Great early bird deal. Outdoor seating
Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. It checks all the boxes: excellent service, ambience, food quality, and value.
delicious food in a very nice bistro atmosphere with good services at fair prices
Excellent place for dinner. Food and service was very good. Only problem foe me was that it was a little loud. RECOMMEND
Always great. Their steak is better than Ruth's Chris, and we've always been pleased with their service. The owner is very nice and regardless of how busy they are, he remembers us.
Today, the Valentine's menu was great.
Like the low cork fees for wine. The food, is good. The clientele averages at above 70
Had a great lunch with my friend Stephannie Celebrating her Birthday
Enjoyable food, great flavors. W/ inside dinnin' no longer avail, the patio had some nice (& somewhat private) seatin' options.
So the Sherman Oaks Cafe Bizou closed a few months back and we finally had a chance to drive to their other location in Agoura. It ended up being well worth the 35 minute drive from the valley. First off, there is plenty of easy parking, no need to valet park like the old Sherman Oaks one. We were worried the ambiance wouldn't be the same as the Ventura Blvd restaurant which was so cute and homey with the real feel of France. The Agoura location is set in a nondescript small shopping center. But inside, one is transported to the French countryside. The faux bricks and lighting and light jazz playing, it again felt homey and warm. The food was exceptional, from the escargot and stuffed mushrooms, lobster risotto and trio of beef, to the flourless chocolate cake. The owner and our waiter Bernoit were very attentive to our needs. We celebrated our daughter's birthday with delicious excellence and were glad we took the drive. We'll be back!
Way too hot in the restaurant. The air conditioning unit can't cool the space well enough
The food is amazing, but even more amazing is their prefix menu for $20.
Wow 3 courses for $20 with plenty of choices.
Went for my friend's birthday party. The food was amazing, but the service was so so... Very nice but also very forgetful. Our party was fairly large at 15, but there were very few other diners during our event. I will give them another try, in part, because the food was so good.
Delightful dining experience. Even though they were packed to the rafters last night (Friday), our party of seven was seated promptly at the designated reservation time, the service was impeccable, and the food was every bit as good as in Sherman Oaks. Bravo!
Fantastic fine dining spot offering high quality fare, expertly prepared and reasonably priced. I had the monkfish which was perfectly cooked and topped a delicious risotto with asparagus. Wide variety of menu options to suite everyone's taste. Atmosphere and service were spot on. Restaurant gets crowded so reservations are recommended.
Great service and excellent food. Highly recommend.
Best French cuisine in the Los Angeles area. Excellent sauces and ingredients at a very reasonable price. You can't go wrong with any dish on the menu.
My favorite restaurant of the whole times receives 2 stars. Why?
I loved the Sherman Oaks place it was perfect, almost perfect. Then I tried the new place, in Agoura Hills but the quality of food and service was not the same. The salads were so, so and my favorite dish rack of lamb was chewy and I could not swallow. So it had to go back. I thought that I had a bad luck with low quality peace of meet, (happens) but apparently I am not the only one who had the same bad experience. I read the same feedback from other customers.
Last night was the second time visiting this place. The location is nice, always free parking, the owner is a great guy, but the food, I don't know.
I am not sure if I want to go back, its sad, after 15 years coming to the same place, I may have to say farewell. I hope the owner reads this review and goes back to the same quality that he had for so many years. He goes back, I am coming back! Cheers... house wine is still good, :o))
Most amazing steak I've had since Hugo's frog bar in Chicago.
Don't waste your time or money. Food is mostly bland and tasteless. Two occasions in a row have been unpleasant. Will never be going back.
Took chance on the prix fixe curb-side pick up menu. Very pleasantly surprised -- ordered 3 different meals & everything hot and delicious. Will definitely return to this little gem.
My favorite restaurant ever! Delicious food and very reasonable too! 2$ corkage!!! Can't be beat!!
This place was interesting. The ambiance was amazing, and gave me flash backs to Parisian bistros. The service was helpful and quick. Only knock on it was the food itself, which was good but not great. A good place for being entertained, but not the best restaurant as far as meal is concerned.
The Pea soup is flavorful.. the mushrooms amazing.. we loved the ahi tuna... The service is wonderful... U gotta go there for real food and good food...
Atmosphere is fun. Corkage fee great, food mediocre, service was awful this go around. Party of 5- 6:15 reservation. Everything was going smoothly until dessert. We had two desserts and coffee and the check. The check? So we paid the bill. Before we we're finished with dessert and coffee he pulled his tip(the bill) and to top it off after we were done with our desserts and coffee. One entree plate, bread plates and dessert plates never cleared. Clearly he had his tip and service for us was done. Done?I don't think so. I went and found him and politely asked him to finish the job. He then proceeded to finish the job. Not mad just disappointed!!
I love their prix fixed lunch menu. Did is amazing and the staff is super friendly!
Excellent meal very fair prices, attentive wait staff nice ambiance.
