Hotel Solverde SPA & Wellness Center Review

Good hotel. Good swimming pool, sauna among other activities. Friendly and attentive staff. Note that the hotel does not have a jacuzzi but a hydrotherapy circuit with cost. Good breakfast.

Excellent hotel despite the age, heated outdoor pool, swm doubts an added value in the fall ...

Worst hotel I have been to in years. Staff is arrogant and seems annoyed by the guests. The pools and spa area lacks hygiene. Food is expensive and really little to choose from. Spare yourself the 500 Euros for this nightmare.

Very good hotel, caring staff for the guests. Beautiful spacious rooms. The bathroom deserves a small renovation (the sliding door that separates the toilet does not work very well and is too heavy, a large shower would be more convenient ...) The fitness area is very good and the sauna area, steam room, swimming pool.

I am still staying at the hotel and now it seems a very nice hotel with excellent service both at the reception and at the restaurant very close to the pools and everything very clean

The hospitality is A+. The food was delicious and very reasonable. The spa treatments were Awesome!! They even have disposable swim suits available for purchase! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will do so again if we are in the area. The rooms are nice size amd the bed was very comfy ( the room furmiture was slightly dated)

Hotel is super old, they got absolutely stuck in time, don't recommend it at all. If you're excited about going to the saunas and baths...forget it, they don't work and all smell very badly.
Breakfast has some fruit and stuff but nothing special, no quality at all, there were fruit flies all over!
Very very disappointing and not worth the price.

Excellent location, with direct access to the beach. It allows for good walks along the footbridge right next to the dunes. The facilities are a little run down and already deserved works, to be able to live up to the stars they boast.

For one. 5 star hotel, is far behind. Upon arrival there were 3 employees talking to one if no one asked us if help with the bags was needed. The man who made us the chekin was not very attentive. We arrived at the room, the furniture with dust and the toilet, scraps of soap paper, badly cleaned. Two beds together, when we asked for a double bed. The mini bar, turned off. The lighting, more like a church. Coffee machine in the room, there was none. Breakfast, it seemed that you could not eat as you wanted. What we were given, it hurt with little sympathy. I will not be returning and do not recommend it.

You must have seaview room, otherwise you miss out. Big room. The bath gowns were broken. Could do better for a five star. Anyhow, breakfast with view. Swimming pool with view. It's on the beach. Anyhoe it's in a very weird area, in a small village. Nothing to do around. Yoh need a car

Great comfort, very spacious room, indoor and outdoor heated seawater swimming pool. (Do not forget your bathing suit because the "plastic bag" which will serve as your bathing suit will be sold to you for 10 euros ... I think that it was a one-time use ... but no.
small terrace for the rooms with sea front view ... very pleasant. To go directly to the beach, you will have to cross a "busy" railway line ... by the passage of trains, of course. The prices are up to par.

For a 5 star it leaves a bit to be desired. Needs a thorough remodeling. However it is still a 5star right on the seafront.

Great room, reasonable gym equipment, nice variety of pools and saunas, nearby beach, great breakfast buffet variety and taste, polite and agreeable staff, great views from our room.

Cons: beach too rocky to swim safely, quite far from Porto, gym and pools open and close too late and too early respectively.

This time they won in all, before during and after.
A very well organized service, the food well done and delivered on time, despite the large number of people, quality wines to the description, just the choice of set could be better.
Throughout our stay the friendliness and solicitude of the staff continues to be impeccable. The price .... but it is Solverde.

All very clean, good facilities, ideal to go with children. Although the city of Porto is very close, you have to access the highway, many traffic jams.

This is fine. But for Spain it is not a 5 star, I would leave it in a 4 star.
The staff very friendly and attentive and the sunsets in the Atlantic a luxury, that if paying supplement for the room with sea views.
The worst thing about the mattress is a cheap pension.

It is very good in general. But he lacks lifeguards in the pools.

The service and attention a 10, the cleanliness another 10, the pools super clean and warm. The outside was even hotter than the inside . The room was in a superior room overlooking the sea, it was quite spacious, very clean and the bathroom was amazing. The gym is super good.
I went full board breakfast, lunch and dinner a show. Breakfast was in the form of a buffet and lunch and dinner were with different menus. If it is true that it is a bit expensive. The food was very good and decorated very well. The bartender makes some fascinating drinks and makes them to the requirements you ask for. I liked the experience in general, those 4 days I felt at home, since the attention is very familiar. Fully complies with the value for money worth. Espinho is beautiful, the beach is right there.

I just went for a walk. The hotel is large and has a private beach.

It does live up to a lot of 5 star services but if you remove the pool it's not all that great. Small rooms, and quite dark

Good hotel but not for the stars it has ... it lacks details for the 5 stars (for example coffee maker or kettle for infusions in the room). The pools are wonderful and the walk through the beach area on a wooden platform is very nice. The summer restaurant is nothing special but saves the situation quite well. The rooms are somewhat outdated. The service is not especially pleasant.

The hotel is fine, a perfect place to rest, although it would not hurt to have a change of pillows, what I liked most was the pool area. Stay away from this horror house. An absolutely horrible experience at this hotel! The air conditioning in the entire hotel didn t work throughout my stay. We had to sleep with the balcony door closed as well; because the guest next to us was a chain smoker. When we requested some a price adjustment or discount for our horrible time here at this hotel. They abruptly denied us and were completely indifferent to our complaints. Horrendous customer service. They merit this review. I uploaded a pic of an email response confirming that the AC didn t work during our stay.

Great hotel, excellent situation practical parking. Luxury and function

We loved this stay. All the personnel were friendly and attentive to our needs. Facilities are modern and clean. Just a minutes walk to the beach.
