Great.
The restaurant is very good.
Perfect location for visiting Porto and its surroundings.

Hotel is comfortable and clean but far from the center

The staff is charming, attentive at all times to your needs, on the other hand the hotel is fine, although to put a but, it needs some reform

Nice hotel, its super attentive and friendly employees

The hotel is clearly showing its age and in need of renovation. The location is still nice and you have a great view of the sea from the hotel rooms. The service is very courteous and always nice.

Advantages of the hotel:
- 2 heated pools (inside + outside)
- large rooms and comfortable beds
- beautiful view of the sea
- good service

Minuses:
- facade in need of renovation
- only a restaurant, food is OK but not a taste experience

Overall, we enjoyed the holiday and relaxed well.

Beautiful property very well maintained, very kind staff and very attentive to the customer.
I read reviews that said that it was uncomfortable both from the port and from Espinho, in my opinion if one does not want to walk with a 6 euro taxi takes you to the train station or else on foot you arrive safely with a wonderful walk, for access to the sea are not even two minutes walk

It's a shame because of cov 19 the breakfast is not as described

Very spacious hotel, away from the center of Espinho, but at a walkable distance. The service is magnificent and very pleasant, especially when it comes to cleaning. The tranquility and silence is incredible, even being complete.

A great hotel! Today I come back delighted with the close treatment, kindness, its facilities, restoration, hygiene and especially, the tranquility and its two heated swimming pools. For a 5 star hotel you have to give something else. It needs to be renewed. But it's worth it, the staff is attentive. The facilities are improvable as well as the breakfast. The staff these days was scarce even in the room cleaning

Perfect place to relax. Spa area and relaxation not to be missed.

We spent two days here over May / June. Although the hotel looks a little dated from the outside it is incredibly well looked after and spotlessly clean. The facilities justify the 5 star rating and the spa is incredible. Perfect for our family (girls 8 and 10) - both swimming pools are well heated and great steam / sauna and gym for adults. Would recommend and would happily return - decent value for money with a good quality buffet breakfast.

Well equipped paddle, keep holes below what a 5 star requires. Landscaped outdoor spaces in the access to the courts requires renovation. The paddle court is orientated to the east / west. It is practically impossible to play in good conditions during the morning or late afternoon.

Unfortunate that a 5 star hotel does not have "dress code" at least in the evening. Bathing shorts and flip flops in the hotel bar at 10.40pm does not make sense

For a 5 * hotel it leaves a lot to be desired, I didn't have a good experience, the staff in general found it super uninteresting, not at all friendly.
I arrived at the room, the bathroom had a lot of hair in the bathtub, at the time of my bath I had a cleaning lady knocking on our door and entering without any authorization.
But the last straw was breakfast, where my husband was at 7:00 in the morning, he went to have a coffee and ate a mini donut so he wouldn't smoke fast.
When we woke up the two of us had breakfast and he was denied breakfast because he had already had coffee and donut.
If I wanted to, I would have to pay again .. what kind of hotel is this 5 *? I wonder ..

Every room is large and spacious and looks very comfortable with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and beautiful wellness. Ample parking. Wonderfully quiet in the Christmas period

For a 5-star hotel according to Portuguese standards, we found a good price-performance ratio (mind you to low season rate). Small annoyances cloud this good impression. So it was warned not to hang small clothes on the balcony to dry. You may want to use the (expensive!) Hotel laundry! It is also necessary, if you want to use the hotel pool, a bathing cap to wear, which are sold locally with 4 euros per person. Only little things, but just annoying for us.

The hotel is old and doesn t have the qualities to be 5 stars. I would say between 3-4 stars is fair. Breakfast is below average for 5 star hotels. The coffee tastes bad and the low variety of food. The pool was rusty and not clean. There was no food or drinks service at the pool, you have to go inside and ask the receptionist to order.

Old hotel, but still everything functional. Spa and swimming pool really great, the beach is right next door, but rather not suitable for swimming. The staff is very friendly, you are welcome to come back! Unfortunately the food is negative: whether breakfast, buffet or menu, it's just not good
