Hotel Solverde SPA & Wellness Center Review

Generally a bit old hotel. Nice wellness area, super friendly staff.
Unfortunately only a salt water outdoor pool.
In my opinion, the hotel is more of a four-star standard

You can not ask for more from a hotel. the spa is luxurious, with sauna, pool, hamman, turkish bath, etc etc (without additional payment). We have used room service tb, they have taken a bit but we did not care. The room has a bathtub and views of the sea.

Hotel on the shore. Beach. There are walking routes along the ocean. Good breakfast. Convenient private parking.

Nice and quiet place. The best waiters, they are very friendly. We went with a child and they were very aware of him with the meals. The meter of the Antonio restaurant is great.

Friendly and polite attendants, good infrastructure. The beds could be better, as well as the coffee time, which ends too soon for those on holiday. However, it is an excellent cost-benefit ratio. Receiving it.

We have been many times since its inauguration ... and we always repeat.
You can see the years especially in the bathrooms but its location, the friendly staff, breakfast, spa ... make it a very appealing hotel.

Top notch 5-Star hotel friendly & professional front office staff great location super inside & outside pool area attentive staff, the General Manager runs an extremely professional staff and certainly knows how to make you feel welcomed she always pops up in the right place at the right time whenever needed.
Nice buffet breakfast served by staff because of Covid restrictions, rooms could do with an upgrade in style.
Because of Covid-19 however the Spa was closed this was not a big problem for us, I would recommend this hotel.

The restaurant is of a good standard and has ample free parking. Unfortunately the weather did not allow me to observe the swimming pool section that seemed to deserve ...

We did the hotel's spa circuit and it was fabulous. I love it.

The breakfast did not have the quality and variety of a 5 star,

a superb place where everything is made to be good, outdoor heated pool, gym, spa, great breakfast, large spacious room and upscale bedding, the staff is at the top, very beautiful experience.

It does not justify the price. Pools and breakfast very good. Lack of coordination, vigilance and maintenance of spaces. During the 3 days of stay there was a recurrent lack of surveillance of the indoor pool, with several people without a cap. On the first day we had no room service / cleaning, even after complaints. They do not have a common and frequent "pandemic" kit (with masks and gel) in hotels at this stage of the pandemic. In my opinion, they should assess the temperature to customers at least once a day, for example at the entrance to breakfast.

I just visited the spa and gym. The facilities are somewhat outdated and could be better maintained. The indoor pool has too much chlorine.
It has a quiet and relatively pleasant atmosphere, but for the price something much more carefully was expected.

Very good here. But the 5 stars were in the 70s. Nevertheless, clean and courteous staff. Very close to the beach. The breakfast is only recommended. Very large selection. There is also a really big parking lot here.

This is a huge hotel with spa (I was not there) and pools (I did not swim, the weather was not so hot) which I could see from my room, and yes from my room also I could listen a charming sound of the surf (mostly in everything) and see the Atlantic ocean. They're parking, free WiFi but weak a bit and all was good with breakfast and staff.

The hotel itself is very good. There are indoor and outdoor pools. Spacious clean rooms. But a completely incomprehensible story with sockets - they are hidden behind the bedside tables, which are VERY difficult to move away from the wall. From there, some splitters fall out and the room takes on an extremely sloppy look. The breakfasts are great! The ocean is located on the other side of the railway, which sometimes passes trains. The road must go through the underpass. And you get on the dunes of extraordinary beauty !!! beach chic !!! We were in August. There was a very strong wind, ice ocean and frequent fogs. But all this is incredibly picturesque !! Not far from the hotel supermarket and gas station. But in general the place is completely deaf.

Started drilling in a lift shaft so making room unusable for final 2 days of stay.zero customer service no one seemed botherd and it seemed run of the mill to do major construction during our stay

Good food in the restaurant. Good venue for business conferences due to space and comfort.

AVOID THIS PLACE . it is not a 5 star hotel and is not at the beach. They have access to a wild beach full of stone and there is not any restaurant or things to do near by. The closest place is espinho about 5 by Uber or 10 14 by local taxi (they charge you 2 way but you traveling 1 way) 25-30 min walk but is not much restaurant there to.
The cleaner of room is poor lots of dust and they don't vacum my room 1 time in 6 nights
Is a bad smell of algae from the beach outside the hotel.
The good part is they have a good breakfast and the outside swimming pool plus the inside suna.
The list with poor customer service is long
So from my 6 night at this hotel I tell you guys AVOID . IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL

very good hotel, good reception and very good table, we ate very good at the buffet at night, quality products, heated outdoor pool and very good massages, rent a car taxis to dear PORTO- good trip and beautiful PORTO ....

Overpriced restaurant: buffet formula at 26 !! ..if not the nearest restaurants 2 km away.

Rooms are good, maybe different color carpet in hallway on floor and in rooms would create a very different atmosphere. Good beds. Bathroom is great. Dividing wall between toilet and bathroom. Terrace to the room.

Excellent hotel next to the beach with all the facilities to enjoy a few days off, work meetings or weddings, communions or baptisms. Very spacious room with all the comforts. Breakfast and dinner excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. About 20km from Porto and 40 from the airport. Ample parking. Very good.

We asked the reception to arrange a taxi for three persons with each one big suitcase. They arranged with a private car, driven by an old man ( probably someone's grandpa that they gave an easy job to get some money), one suitcase did not fit into the trunk so it had to go in front and the three of us had to squeeze in the back seat... The car did not have a meter. The driver simply told us it would cost 50 . And finally he did not accept credit card, only cash. I did not expect this from a 5 star hotel
