It is a very disappointing and unpleasant experience in my short stay at Turi. The customer is not taken care well and the service quality is horrifying. The worst resort in my experience. Not worth for the money spent on the resort. The resort is just about ripping off the customer's money. There are way better resorts which are more affordable, better service quality and cleaner beach in other places. I hope the management of the hotel takes heed of the feedback's, make some improvements and also make up to the customers!

Fantastic location near the sea beach. You could practically see the sea all day long from your room. An exotic resort with all the modern amenities and luxuries you can want. Clean and spacious rooms, beautiful swimming pools, bars, spa, water sports, etc. The kids loved it and so did we. Would love to come back again.
Pool was great. Kids love it. Room clean and tidy however i find out the tv should change to a newer one. Breakie never good... (sorry had to say this) Japannese tenpayaki was great for dining option however its pricy.
We had ants in our rooms. No safe in one of our rooms. Toiletries incomplete. Fan speed irregular. Cable TV programmes not running smoothly. WIFI slow. This is our 3rd visit. We had better stays at Riani Wing. This time we stayed at Tirta Wing, rooms are not as clean as Riani Wing. We like the idea of staying at Tirta as it's near the emerald pool. My kids enjoyed the pool very much so it's convenient to stay at Tirta side. We missed walking at the bridge as it is closed for renovation. I think it's time to revamped the rooms for Tirta side
Want to relax by the beach with all out facilities? Turi Beach Resort offers the ideal answer for your holiday. For sea enthusiasts, spending time relaxing by the beach and spending the night in a villa attached to the beach is definitely a coveted moment. This resort in the tourist area of Nongsa, Batam has no doubt its superiority. From inside the villa, tourists can enjoy the blue ocean view and fresh beach air. Realizing the need for various facilities for holidays and certain occasions, the resort provides complete facilities, considering its location far from the city center. For a variety of room types, Turi Beach Resort (part of the Nongsa Resort Group) provides two types of rooms with different characters. The rooms at Tirta Wing are designed in a modern style and are located close to all the facilities within the resort. While the rooms at the Riani Wing are in traditional wooden shades, located near the beach with a quieter atmosphere, perfect for couples on honeymoon.
If accommodation that responds to the need for relaxation is ready to accompany visitors, for fans of challenging sports, it is also available. You just have to choose a complete variety of sea sports, such as banana boat, snorkeling, parasailing, as well as land sports such as wall climbing or jungle tracking. Automatically soul satisfaction will be fulfilled as well as have some fun! The location of the Nongsa tourist area which is neighboring the cities of Johor Bahru and Singapore makes the resort a profitable spot. The beauty of the beach is also framed by a loose view that presents vista to the two cities of the neighboring country at once. No doubt many tourists from Singapore also enlivened the Turi Beach Resort. Sometimes they even become the majority guest. This condition was then responded well by establishing the Nongsapura Ferry Terminal (part of the Nongsa Resort Group as well) and a shuttle bus for easy transportation. Plus, creating a special kind of dock that was built up to the middle of the sea as a resort icon. Stepping on the footbridge as if walking toward the middle of the sea is a refreshing sensation as well as a moment of gratitude for God's greatness. This different experience of exploring nature is the target of tourists who come to visit. It is also from here that the vibrant New Year's fireworks display from the Lion City can be enjoyed as a dramatic view from a distance, and not necessarily all resorts have it. What a surprise!
We stayed for 2 nights at Turi Beach for my wife's birthday celebration. The management prepared a surprised cake and sang the birthday song to my wife which she enjoyed and appreciated a lot. Since I am a novice photographer, I got to practice photography skills with the beautiful sunrise and sunset by the beach. Food was perfect, but we are not aware their servings are really huge when it comes to set meal. They just need to find out ways on how to lessen the mosquitoes in the area.
Beautiful resort with friendly service staff and very clean rooms. A tad expensive with food and services and some mosquitoes but overall a wonderful experience
View n facilities are ok..cm distance from receptionist to room and other place jauuuuuh .. the way is derivatives and climbs, while there is only 1 shuttle car that is wara wiri
View is beautiful; food is normal; room is good; staffs are attentive and responsive; cleanliness also good. Overall it s a great place to relax. Mosquito yes.
The facility is pretty old. Some buildings are not well maintained. The garden is just lust and wild. Some people prefer it that way, but I just don't. They don't have a praying room for guests. I ended up using the staff praying room which was an absolute nightmare. The toilet is dark and nested by mosquitos. Fortunately, they offer a wide variety of sea sport and sea activities. The swimming pool is clean, however it looks too green. I'm not sure whether the green comes from the color of the tiles or moss. They have the nicest beach in Batam because part of it faces an open ocean (pelagic coast), not sheltered by small islands like other beaches in south Batam. One of my favorite part is the climbing wall! I never see one in Batam so it's a good place to start climbing again.
Management does not place customer safety as a priority, food at the Taming Sari Cafe is unexciting and boring, staff warmth amd speed of service need to be significantly improved. Will not recommend this to anyone at all.
Beutiful Resort Like this resort so much. The swimming pool is cool overlooking the sea and the beach atmosphere is also very cool for a great vacation here
I had a wonderful time at Turi Beach Resort. The staff were attentive and some went the extra mile to ask about and follow-up with issues that needs to be addressed. My beachfront view was fabulous though my side of the beach still has the tar residue. Although the Jetty was closed, the pavilion on the beach side provided much needed rest at times. It was fun watching and being in awe at the people doing sea activities.
My husband and I came to Turi Beach for one night and 2 days for our wedding anniversary. It was hands down the best one yet. Turi Beach staff and the most accommodating and lovelies people I ve ever met. They give you the warmest of greetings and make you feel so welcome. If you arrive early they keep your bags and let you commence your holiday with the wide range of activities. When we checked in they had spelt out happy anniversary with flowers and had a chocolate waiting for us. It was so special. No task is too much for them. They remember who you are and when walking past they will say miss Meghan are you well and having a nice time. They have lovely touches in the rooms. My need for relaxation and tranquility was achieved- the view is straight out of a postcard, their infinity pools look out to the ocean which is incredible. The restaurants are average but have lovely yum food! Really recommend the fusion bbq on Saturday evenings. I would say though the down point for me was the water sports- the manager is lovely but they are doing very little to protect the seas (which is their selling point) their jetski s were very very old and most of them broken. They were leaking oil and clearly pumping petrol fumes into the air. My Husband and I both walked out the ocean with oil on our feet. The spa was lovely but dated, compared to others it needs a revamp. The therapist were lovely but don t really respect your dignity. Overall I didn t want to leave- it was amazing and we will be back.
Side note- trying to get our ferry tickets that we had booked with the package was a bit of a nightmare- constantly have to chase up. Hey
Came here for business trip, a very nice place, nice room and comfortable environment. The beach is very clean, always very nice to have a walk in the morning or evening. The service was also very good and friendly. You can ask for the small car to take you back to cabin. The restaurant and bars are great, we try so many local food and drink, and it s tasty.
Splendid view of beach, calm atmosphere and peaceful stay! Pros: + Great facilities + Water sports right at the beach front + Amazing View + Tasty food + Friendly staff + Impressively clean (even the shore!) Negs: - Subpar toilet - Activites slightly costly - Quite far from town - Jetty was closed for reno. (understandable) Overall satisfactory level: 8/10 Do note of insects due to it's location in a rainforest!! Although there's pest control, it's unavoidable so either you close the door or embrace mother nature.
Turi Beach is very clean and safe. However, you have to pay for activities to access the beach if you're not staying there. Activities include various water sports and mini course activities such as Flying Fox and Paintball.
Perfect place for a couple who value a peaceful and quiet place to relax and chill. Clean, large room and bathroom. Recommend to choose a room near the sea for the cooling breeze and the sound of crashing waves of the sea. Will be back again.
The resort is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are beautiful--much better than they look in the pictures. The private porches are wonderful, and the interior of the rooms have gorgeous vaulted ceilings with artful accent lighting. The food was, as is common for resorts, mediocre and a bit pricey. There really isn't a beach to speak of -- it's Rocky and largely covered by the tide. We spent most of our time by the pool. I wouldn't recommend this for a true Beach vacation, but it's a nice place to rest up on a weekend trip.
Clean rooms and spacious bathrooms, a relaxed atmosphere and away from the hustle of the city, suitable for those of you who are looking for a relaxing holiday and friendly staff.
A nice weekend gateway just an hour ferry ride from Singapore. We rented a car in Batam for 35SGD/day and drove all the way to Nongsa Beach; the drive was amazing as the roads lead up and down the mountain. Nice massages and good water sports activities at affordable rates. This was one of the good attractions in Batam.
Had the best experience. Bravo to the people who made this possible. Would highly recommend everyone who visit Batam to stay here. Loved the beach, the pools, the buffet, loved everything. Helpful, friendly and kind staff.
While booking the room description of the room shown as Sea View , And I put a special request as well to provide the room with good sea view and with king size bed. But the staffs only considered the king size bed but not the sea view . When checked in I was really shocked there is no sea view from the room. I feel it should be informed to me in advance . when I raised this concern, they only provided me an option to get a sea view with two single beds . Totally disappointed on this .
Noise and overpriced. We weren't picked up at the ferry terminal as confirmed via email. Had to find our own way to the hotel. Food is bad and overpriced. Drinks are even worse. No pre warning of corporate events going on all weekend. From Friday to Sunday evening there was entertainment going on for corporate groups. Therefore the hotel was overrun by people shouting and screaming. People swimming in their clothes in the pool. Pools are not very clean on top of that. Have to pay for WIFI in the room. Restrooms smell. The beach is mainly used as entertainment area. So noisy at the beach as well. Hardly any lighting towards the guest rooms (you have to walk through the garden to get to the restaurant/your room). Unbelievable amount of insects and no curlers provided. Hardly any hot water even though I turned on the heater 30min before showering. One of the worst hotels I've ever been to on Batam.
The place is nice, the rooms are comfortable and very clean, but for the swimming pool to open it must be a little night. Again because the guests who came in the afternoon they wanted to soak The soonest it closes is at 8 pm or 9 pm so that guests who come in the afternoon can still be satisfied swimming in the pool
Turi Beach Resort is part of the bigger Nongsa Resorts group with the Nongsa Point Marina & Resort next door. It has a beautiful beach scenery and a few good restaurants. But this place isn't cheap compared to the rest of Batam. It is also tucked faraway in Nongsa from the busy city centre. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. However, a swim in the sea is not recommended due to the pollution of nearby ships. They will send cleaners to clear it up or use the nice pools instead.
