retro vintage structure on the promenade of Viareggio. Beautiful and spacious rooms.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff and a very comfortable reception room, shame about the lighting that didn't work very well.

Impressive old building, nice interiors, kind of classical in feeling. Very helpful staff with good English. Rooms nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast ok-ish, not bad, not the greatest. Very close to the sea and several shops.

Fantastic staff immediately put you at ease in your gorgeous room even though the bathroom is a bit small

Valentine's Day. We booked one night in this hotel because it was the only one open in Versilia with a restaurant and couple's massage during the COVID period.
- We enter the assigned room: it had already been occupied by another couple previously (an already absurd practice in itself but even more serious in a pandemic situation);
- To our grievances we are assigned an apartment with kitchen, washing machine, etc. yes spacious, but absolutely not Superior (category booked by us) nor suitable for the situation and the "romantic" day;
- The dinner, genuinely good, consumed in a very sloppy room and without a minimum attention to detail or the evening offered at a certainly not ridiculous price;
- No apologies or attempts to remedy the incident on the part of the managers or reception who have never responded to complaints on site or via email.

Precisely in this period when customer attention should be high, trying to make cash so shamelessly, not offering a service that is minimally adequate for the price paid, is absolutely out of place. Never again, we will advise against it to anyone.

A poorly maintained location, definitely below expectations. (Considering the price)
We had asked for a room for two adults and a child and without saying it they assigned us an apartment in which the child was "placed" on a sofa bed in the living area ... the thermostat was at 28 degrees ... temperatures at the limit of endurance. Clean, but with details to look after ... walls with cracks and chips.
Poor breakfast, at 9.30 there was 1 brioche left and the trays were half empty ...
Too bad! ... We will not return ...

I have been to the Esplanade restaurant both for lunch and for dinner both with the family and with friends, getting the maximum satisfaction for the reception that for the kitchen

Nice hotel near the beach ... easy access to parking. There is a restaurant in the hotel which is quieter than outside with hordes of tourists ..

Bed a little short, but otherwise excellent, except for the waste of marble!

Comfortable staff available a stone's throw from the bathrooms the Viareggio plants paid parking but a few meters away there is free parking

Clean and spacious room, marble bathroom with immediately hot shower, friendly and helpful welcome, breakfast with hot drinks at the table, attentive and courteous fast staff. There are evenings with menus
tasting even with a lyric concert with a prominent soprano of undoubted talent, it is nice to go to sleep with a panel in front of it with the most famous piece of Tosca written in beautiful handwriting. You fall asleep with beauty and wake up serene with the echo of Puccini's works still in your heart. The 4 stars are more than deserved, my opinion is more than positive.

I stayed a few days and the value for money did not find it up to expectations then the sea was dirty, expensive sunbeds and unfriendly people, the only positive note was the hotel restaurant with excellent fish dishes.

Very nice hotel in a good location close to the beach and the many shops. Food has improved substantially since we were here 2 years ago. Can recommend the vegan salad among other dishes.

Our experience here was not good. The service is good and prices within a normality for the place. We expected more from the food which was not bad. We may not have rated it well before we went.

Nice and elegant hotel with congress hall that hosts beautiful events, but the restaurant is expensive, too expensive for the scarcity of food it offers, both in quantity and quality.

We stayed at the hotel only one night, kindness, professionalism and especially we brought our dog. Never seen such a well-equipped place, even biscuits, I highly recommend it

Hotel suitable for professional meetings, beautiful conference room, equipped with more than 100 seats and projector. The hotel is located just 50 meters from the sea.

This is a nice hotel in an excellent location (a few steps & you're on the boardwalk & on the beach) but where they are lacking is service. Our check in was ok but the man forgot to tell us the wi-fi network & password, so we had to make a trip downstairs to get it since staff wasn't answering the phone, & then he also forgot to tell us when/where breakfast would be served (another trip downstairs). What's worse-- breakfast the next day was terrible. We sat for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us -- I eventually went & grabbed menus. 5 minutes later the waitress came over & was very unfriendly & didn't apologize for the 15-minute wait. Our food finally came & it was dry & stale -- old croissants, eggs that had clearly been sitting around & weren't fresh at all (see photo!). I ordered a cappuccino that never came & I finally gave up & left. In times of Covid with few guests how can you mess up on service so badly?? I will say, our room was nice, very spacious with a lovely sitting room adjoining the bedroom. However, I would not choose to stay here again, too many service issues.

I attended a conference, already attended the previous year, I felt really good. I have a pleasant sen town, and beautiful memory.

Nice Hotel, but super noisy: there are two bars right next door that play loud outside music. After two nights without sleep we're done with this place.

It is an excellent hotel near Puccini's villa, in fact the square takes its name.

All very nice, meeting room for a hundred seats, air-conditioned, well-organized. comfortable seating.

Spacious clean room with very helpful multi linguistic staff. Breakfast was quite poor. Great air con in the rooms however no milk for the tea. Would definitely recommend.

Staff excellent and friendly especially in the restaurant and room service. Staff in reception in the main very helpful, although a member of staff did send my husband to a pool in the afternoon when it was closed. The a la carte menu looks interesting but is not offerred for half board. The menu offered here is monotinous to say the least. The first course every night consists of pasta, risotto or soup. A particularly poor offering tonight. For the main fish, burger and chips or
omelette with cheese and tomato. Not what you woud expect from a 4 star establishment. From the many thousands of recipes available I think the chef could do a lot better. Its a shame as i think this has the potential to be an excellent . After speaking to some other guests many would not return because of the food. Arrangements could also be improved on with access to pools/beach areas. Would it be too difficult to have a barman available without having to ask at reception. The bar area always looks deserted..The terraced area is completely under utilised. The hotel is rated 4 stars but has few of its own facililities.

In my opinion it's fantastic, excellent staff; excellent location, the only flaw is the lack of parking. For the rest 10 and praise!

Environment a bit dated but comfortable, like all the hotels in Viareggio, they have that retro feel that I don't mind. The conference room is spacious and has good acoustics.

Clean place, quiet and attention to detail! Very comfortable bed! If you take the room on the upper floors, there is a fabulous view! Recommended!

The hotel was nice (I would rather say 3 star hotel, not 4), but the wifi was pretty weak.

Fine hotel that did what it said in the room. Breakfast a little disappointing but bikes (which should be your preferred mode in Viareggio) were freely available.
