Exceptional. Wonderful building, perfect rooms, attentive staff, excellent breakfast, perteita location.

The food was good but quite expensive compared to other restaurants just across the street.

Very nice restaurant if you want to stay in shadow, in cozy corner next to Piazza Navona.

Beautiful quaint Hotel on a lovely quiet street that seems as if it's being protected and embraced by an amazing creeping ivy that's been growing there for years inviting you to take a picture!

It's a simple room, but it has all the conveniences. The location is good and there are many restaurants in the area. Breakfast is also delicious. The view from the roof is also nice.

We didnt stay at the hotel but just had a drink at the rooftop bar. Excellent views, great service. They really know how to make you feel welcome.

We initially came here only for the rooftop restaurant, but we're so surprised of how classy and elegant this hotel is! Would definitely come stay here again next time I'm in Rome

Not as perfect as their Paris sister hotel, but still a great experience.

I usually do not leave reviews but a late September afternoon on the terrace of the Raphael was truly a unique experience.

Terrace amazing view and Javier the waiter was very polite, sweet and effective.

Brilliant view over Rome and very good food. We had Arabesque and a doorway to heaven. Both were very good. The Arabesque was even better and much more complex. It is a pity that the greeting from the kitchen was not vegan, but only vegetarian. Since we had 2 vegan main courses, the waiter should at least have asked and offered vegan alternatives. The prices are exorbitantly high, but the food is also very good!

Elegant, well-kept, beautiful terrace. The bathrooms are a little old and neglected, but with a great set for body care.

The cocktails are not worthy of a hotel of this category and sold at this price!
The Margarita is served in a small unsuitable glass plus it is loaded with salt on the edges and has a strong lemon juice taste. The spritz are drowned in ice cubes ...
The kitchen staff quench their thirst at the bar during service. In short, not worth its stars.

The quality and design of the dishes is good, as is the service. However, I think that in these times it is unpleasant that the service only addresses the man to choose wine, to taste it, to check if everything was correct, if he had finished, ... The establishment should change its policy of Customer Support.

food is all organic and vegetarian, breakfast is great you won't miss out any meat!

I visited this biological vegetarian restaurant for the first time. I always eat raw vegan organic food so I asked the service for their recommendations. They quickly asked the chef himself to help me compose a menu. All the vegetable dishes were absolutely fantastic but I especially enjoyed the raw vegan sacher cake. I am a big organic chocolate fan and this cake had a very intense chocolate taste.

The service was mostly attentive and the servers friendly enough, but there was a level of refinement missing. We did not get napkins until we asked for them when our meal arrived. The server steered us to the eggplant parm and the carbonara. Both were unimpressive, and the eggplant was downright bland. The $8 cappuccino (yes you read that correctly) was the worst I've had in Rome. The hummus amuse bouche was the highlight of the meal, but was 2 bites. The prices for lunch were outrageous for the quality of what we received. I'm sure there are better dishes at the restaurant, but at these prices in Rome we expected much better.

Super friendly Staff! The best view from the terraces we went to. Drinks are a little on the expensive side but worth if for the views.

I went there a few years ago and wanted to go back. The menu has changed so I only had a drink which took about an hour, I know Italy moves slower than New York however we seemed very unimportant to them since we weren't eating.
View is amazing though which is where the 3 stars comes from

When I stayed, it was supposed to be a 5 star hotel.

I would put this at 3 stars with good service and a good location.

Rooms are small.

Don't stay here expecting normal 5 star features.

I actually was at the rooftop bar here. I did not stay in the hotel. The outside of the hotel is lovely, but the rooftop bar is terraced. It appeared that the top level was set for dining and we went only for prosecco so we didn't have the very best views.

We made such an effort to find the rooftop bar in Rome! We eventually ended up going for dinner because they were not open for lunch. As we arrived the atmosphere was very stiff and formal. We paid 18euro for 1 G&T I will never go back or suggest it to anyone.

I really like the food here. Just enough food to make you happy and satisfied. Wait staff are exceptional and gave us an open table without reservations. everything was really good I was very happy with the food and service.

Rooftop bar opinion: Cozy and served with unbeatable attention, the views are beautiful and everything on the menu is exquisite and prepared with care. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive, although you have to bear in mind that it is a roof terrace in the center of Rome and in a five-star hotel (presumably).

very old hotel with very small room. was not very impressed. restaurant on rooftop is overpriced, service v slow.

I would not recommend / stay again. My mom recommended me here as a suggestion for my night alone in Rome until my friend arrived and I was not impressed.

Pros:
- The rooftop patio is beautiful, and the 9Euro cappuccino was great.
- Location is cool
- Outside is gorgeous
- Wifi is good throughout
- My mom stayed in a better room when she was here so I guess if you're willing to play the odds...

Cons: Mainly, the room I stayed in was not 5 star.
- Despite advert as soundproofed, I could hear everything happening in the hall from room 112.
- One towel in the bathroom had a pink stain on it, the other a grayish mark.
- The room itself faces an alley with ruins but it was relatively aesthetically unpleasing (window treatments + view).
- Hotel staff was pleasant but relatively unhelpful. I was visibly upset upon arrival (a stranger grabbed me when I left the train station) and the staff could not help me feel secure or understood.
- They gave me a hard key and a card and after the hotel staff was unable to hold my passport to my satisfaction, I could not re-enter the room without staff assistance. Staff then replaced both the hard key and e-card with an e-card.

A classic among Rome's many attractions are within easy walking distance. The view from the rooftop restaurant over the center of Rome is fantastic. The equipment partly with antiques and the service are according to the luxury category of the hotel. This was neither the first nor the last time we stayed here. The character of the hotel should be preserved, otherwise it will be a traditional luxury hotel

Horrible experience. Beautiful view BUT... the service was horrible. Ordered 2nd bottle of wine, never came. Part of our lunch, never came. Some fault of the waiter but under staffed, 1 waiter, for entire lunch crowd and food was nothing more then average at Michelin price. Not even close to Michelin Star restaurant which they claim to be.

A very worthwhile vegetarian, partly vegan organic restaurant with one of the most beautiful views over the rooftops of Rome.

Rooftop overpriced. View is minimal. Service is slow and some ingredients were finished (!!!??!) Vegetarian restaurant so no meat or fish finger food....ok why not a kick in the balls?

It is worth having a coffee on the terrace. Stratospheric prices. Good views.

By far one of the most majestic hotel in the center of Rome, from the outside there is a covered structure of ivy and magenta flowers, inside the staff is friendly and welcoming. The view from the terrace restaurant is magnificent.

We went up to the terrace because they recommended the views. BEWARE, 1 Coca Cola 8, and a beer 12, spectacular. And for that price, it's not worth it. Better to look elsewhere.

A strategic piece to visit Rome. The hotel lives up to its fame ...

Was a great experience having dinner at this place. Service was excellent and food was great even though the price was perhaps just a bit too much for what was served. If you're vegetarian/vegan you will find that almost the whole menu works for you. The view is amazing in several directions. Reserved a table for two a couple of nights before by sending the hotel an email.
