Old Hotel but clean and big rooms.
The staffs were class!
They have a big pool (open and not crowded) and massage service, which is good a cheap.
It was surprisingly good!

The environment is great, with all the beach and walk in front, the hotel needs a reform to be updated

Hotel in the 80s style but quite charming. Location right on the sea. Room with good beds. Nice wellness area with indoor pool. Breakfast is good, coffee is unfortunately from the machine. Tip: Underground parking only for experienced drivers ;-)

The location of this hotel is excellent, however the facilities are quite dated.

The cleanliness is good, and the treatment of the employees is also very pleasant.

The pool, although inside is great, and its solarium is a very quiet area to relax in the sun, with affordable prices.

The breakfast buffet is very good, although you always have to wait for a queue for milk or coffee.

What we did not like at all was its free parking service "only if there is availability" and there is never, because there all those who want to go to the hotel, the promenade or the beach park.

Hotel that leaves a lot to be desired. It had everything to go right and yet they manage to destroy the full potential. Rooms are outdated but they do not stop being comfortable.Freshissimo restaurant, always basic and equal menu, employees do not exist, we have already been totally alone inside the restaurant for more than 1h with no employees. Unthinkable. Breakfasts constantly lacking bread and etc ... Not to return.

Super old, we have been given a dirty old room with carpet and the most modern is the air conditioning attached to the photo of the air and other things in the room and everything for 140 e. The night . The best thing is the swimming pool, although the water facilities are already very nice, the water is very good and the views to the beach are beautiful. I did not return to this hotel.

Not very clean, queue at the breakfast door. Replacing breakfast products was slow. The room was dated. The pool was good but closed at 8pm which is early for summer time. The price-quality ratio is very bad. The garage has no room for every room and has an archaic system for opening it that involves getting out of the car and using a phone. The location is the only strong reason for choosing this hotel.

I would not rate it as 4 stars. Old facilities somewhat uncomfortable.

Comfortable and reasonably priced hotel conveniently located (40 min) to the Porto airport. Nice staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds, great sea view. ... Recommended. Have fun there

Fantastic location and attention of employees, spacious and comfortable room with sea views, pool and sauna with fantastic natural solarium, besides being surrounded by beach bars. A 10 I recommend it.

The bathrooms have to be modernized The balconies of the premium rooms are small and unglazed, with the wind that comes from the Atlantic it is as if you did not have it.

Not a family or handicapped friendly place. 20 steep stairs to pool area with no elevator available. Have rules for everywhere and every place that are unreasonable for older persons travelling with families.

An eighties hotel, but with the renovated rooms.

The beds very spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom quite spacious also, with shower and everything very clean.

The spa area very cool, with a large pool, sauna and Turkish bath. On the ground floor a fairly large gym with machines of all kinds.

The breakfast that was included offered a lot of variety, although it was not that there was anything extraordinary.

The best of the hotel, in addition to the spa, the location, right on the beach, and 3 minutes walk from the station, which leaves you in Porto in half an hour for 2.

An old hotel next to a pretty beaten beach and in a semi-abandoned town. The spa consists of an indoor pool with two water jets, with a sauna and a Turkish bath. If one works, the other does not work. They sold it to us as it was renovated and has carpet ... In this town nothing has been renovated since 45 at most.

The only good thing is the cleanliness, you can see that they don't rush the waitress.

In quite dry reception the rest put some interest.

The parking lot has about said spaces and if you get the one below you better have skills as a driver.
In Portugal there are quite a few better places to go.

Excellent location, close to the ocean with a magnificent view. The staff prepared and always very helpful. The structure feels the years, but remains comfortable, clean and pleasantly overnight.

The rooms are nice and clean (new air conditioning). Wi-Fi works perfectly. The view through the beach is excellent.

Great location in the heart of Espinho. Hotel has been recently renovated and is perfect. Staff was very helpful and friendly especially with our two young children. Restaurant suggestions we were given were delicious, close by and very good value for money. Pool is fantastic with a view over the beach.

80s hotel, everything a little dark and not very modern. Cleanliness was okay, view from the mini balcony was very good. Breakfast very simple, scrambled eggs and bacon were cold, eggs were cold and boiled blue. 93 for two people was okay, but not a bargain.

We were on the seventh floor and the suite had two beds, a real one and a sofa bed which was really not comfortable. The bathroom had black joints and bristles in the tub, the glass plate on a piece of furniture was slightly broken but it was enough for a child or adult to cut without paying attention. We complained to ourselves that is normal when a four star hotel is in this state. Reception (not very welcoming) changed rooms, this room was on the fourth floor and the room was better than the previous one. I do not recommend this hotel.

Old but classy hotel with all amenities. Exemplary cleaning. Exceptional staff, always available and very friendly, particularly the clerk at the bar. Keep up the great work.

Actually a nice hotel with great views of the beach. Unfortunately, the decor of the entire house but really getting old. It must urgently be renovated.
Negatively noticed is our stay especially the bathroom of our room. The decor is completely impractical for a multi-day stay (for example, no shelves in the shower and the sink). In addition, it seemed a bit dirty (on the wall in the shower area the tile joints were dirty, shower head was rusty, on the garbage lid was several days flat dust).
We also missed the opportunity to sit in the hotel on a terrace or balcony - in the rooms there is no suitable furniture and the balconies are much too small - outside the rooms in the hotel you can only sit on durchgesessenen upholstered furniture.
It's a pity, we think the house would be more, if you make something out of it.

Good hotel, child friendly and accommodating, clean and tidy. Surfer friendly, have a cooperation with a local surf shop for courses. Design and furniture reminiscent of old mafia movies, a bit older but well kept up. Wide breakfast offer. I am very pleased.

I went on a New Year's Eve to the hotel and spent 2 nights there.


I placed a double bed by phone call at the time of booking and they assured me that they were arranging, which did not happen when I arrived at the room; the pool has cold water for the time of year, nor could it enter the water; the gym very old fashioned and machines with rust. The hotel needs a makeover, given the price is very outdated.

The pool was great, but we hired a service with the spa and upon arrival we had it canceled without giving us any explanation or notifying us beforehand.
Very close to the Renfe station to move to the surrounding villages.

If you like 50s that is well advised to check in here. Personally, I think the hotel is very nice and well located. Food is also cheap with a nice view to the sea.

Cozy room, comfortable bed, bathroom a bit old but with enough space, great pool space, varied and good breakfast.

Note the age of the hotel, small rooms and beds could be more comfortable.
However, normal spa with great views. Good location and good points for the private garage. Overall reasonable stay.

I was somewhat satisfied. Location is satisfactory.

Overall rate should be quite good. It has nice view on the ocean, but you have to pay more for it. Breakfasts are very good, but everyday the same. In front of hotel there is parking but it is very occupied. I was there for almost two weeks and never have free parking spot. Hotel rooms are clean and pretty good.

Hotel well located 2 steps from the beach, it is a little old, small spa, but it makes up for it with good staff and good customer service. They gave us a room that did not face the sea as we had hired and they moved us to another one with sea views. Food to improve. Quality price relationship good.

It was a shame to have a wedding night with breakfast in the room and the right to fish sepa but none of that happened yes it happened it was just noise from six in the morning to my amazement when I left outside at ten thirty in the morning is that I saw that it was the cleaning staff had to come to me though not a little respect they have for anyone Aida I did chees at the reception yet they made it forgotten but what they wanted was the money that Caio there was not cheap at all
