Hotel felt it hard history and rooms were great. Street pavement around hotel were being remodeled which made it inconvenient, but overall experience and location was good

Exceptional location Maybe some reform is missing. Very quiet place and friendly staff. Pity the noise of the bottle that is every night in the Plaza del Rey. It seems amazing to me that the municipal police tolerate it.

The best in terms of amenities. They had phone with internet and voice calls that we could use for FREE! This was extremely helpful so we could have Google maps around the city. Service was friendly and fantastic. Room was great! Would definitely use them again.

Good value for money and good location. The room is spacious and the treatment is good.
However, I would like to emphasize that cleaning is scarce. The cleaning service only cares about hiding the dirt under the bed. This is not pleasant at all. Finally, this also happens with the bathrooms.
A pity that this hotel does not focus on this aspect.

Very central hotel, ideal to enjoy walking through the city center. Tastefully decorated room with a fantastic bathroom with very soft towels. Very comfortable bed. Personally I need a harder cushion with which I would appreciate if the hotel could have alternatives. The reception staff very attentive, polite and professional. I recommend it

Not really good place to stay for more than 2 days, at first we found dirty bathroom and then we noticed mold on the bottom of walls, wife used a shower cap and next day they didn't replace it neither other bath supplies after all was expensive.

This hotel offers an unbeatable value for money. The treatment by the staff can not be better and the facilities are in perfect condition. A plus for the people who travel a lot is the wifi, they offer it free and sincerely it works like the one in my house. To top it off, it has the restaurant, ex libris, which has a tremendous kitchen for the price it has. In summary a hotel of 10 totally recommendable.

Problematic about soundproofing is concerned, we who were with works right next best or go into details ... The staff explained the impossibility of reforming the old windows by being in a protected building but ... although I understand it is a job and more when you choose to rest and start up 600km that awaited us. Also in our room (402) the bathroom window was broken. Removing this highlight the friendliness of the reception partners both on arrival and departure. I was also surprised that the hotel has a cell phone that you can take with you for the duration of the stay to call for free or even to consult online.

If you are planning to visit Madrid, stay at any other hotel than this one. Poor and arrogant service and fraudulent billing and cancelation policies.

The hotel is good and centric (Chueca). It can become noisy especially during summertime. Please ask for a room that face on the inside. Rooms are quite big, as well as bathrooms, and confortable. The hotel offers you a rented phone you can take out on the street to browse maps and make international phone calls at NO CHARGE, very convenient to avoid roaming fees if you are not coming from a EU country.

Very central hotel with fantastic rooms. We had an exterior room and it was spacious, even for three, and the bathroom was spacious and bright. Public parking very close. Good experience.

Very well located The atmosphere and decoration of the rooms is very tasteful. The treatment of pleasant and professional staff. Breakfast very complete and of good quality. In the room, however, I had trouble finding a plug for both my computer and charging the phone. I ended up unplugging one of the lamps. The bed I found exreamadamwnte soft and the pillows too thin.

The hotel is unassuming, but the situation is unbeatable and all the staff is very friendly. It does not have its own parking but they have an agreement with a car park at 2 min on foot that 24h is 20, you can leave the car there and move around the center on foot.

The ex libris has a tasting menu of the most complete every day you solprenden with something and their people are friendly fun and they treat you as if you were in your own home and the only thing that missed was more time because if it were like this would come out of there in no time with which would be the heavy customer jaaja but do not tell anyone jaaja

Local food with tasting menus where you can try different food because they always surprise with something, has a wine list and although the schedule is small, it is quite cheap and you get there, parking is a bit difficult but it's worth going with friends, Couple or family to enjoy a formidable deal a good meal in a good place.

Excellent hotel, centrally located but very quiet because slightly away from the main street. What impressed me most about my visit to this place was the treatment received in it, I had already been told about this and had the opportunity to check it, it was as if I had been a long time customer, the food for my taste was excellent and I enjoyed a very cozy atmosphere, fast but efficient service, I also liked the prices.

It is a place with a lot of atmosphere and a very helpful service. We go as if they treated you at home, their food is very good and they have great variety in all the dishes and their prices are not expensive, another of its attributes is that it has a great variety of wines and are not expensive at all which you can afford again and again.
