Hotel Le Royal Luxembourg Review

I ate at Cinnamon Apple and the chef is really up to the place. 5 stars

I just checked in and this place is amazing! The front desk knew who I was before I even introduced myself. The staff here is very polite, professional, and made sure that I knew I was welcome. The rooms and hotel grounds are also spectacular. I will always recommend and stay at this hotel each and every time I visit Luxembourg city.

Update i have been here for a few days and its still going well the food is good but expensive but there is plenty around. Customer service is on point with room service. Every evening they come by to see if everything is ok and prep the room for evening relaxation. I wish all hotel would be like the hotel le royal this place is fantastic.

Oh and this is during covid to while everything is shut down I couldn't imagine how glorious it it during normal operation.

Elegant hotel, very comfortable and with a great location. Close to the main tourist attractions of the city, you can do everything on foot.

Wonderful place to stay in luxembourg.. I have almost never seen such a high level of service standards and hospitality.. will be coming back for sure

A lujazo in the center of Luxembourg. Very comfortable room, spectacular breakfast (freshly made scrambled eggs that tastes like glory). The entrance hall with a pond with flowers impresses, everything smells of flowers.

Modern rooms and a lovely lobby lounge with a central location make this a wonderful place to stay in Luxembourg.

Everything is perfect, not to say fabulous, spacious room, caring staff, cleanliness, breakfast, we were 2 adults, and a 4 year old. We will come back.

Getting well into the high season of the year 2019, the hotel capacity and experience makes it the most important in center town Luxembourg .. well managed place with a lot to offer

Stayed here for a work trip and the service and facilities exceeded our expectations at every level. Awesome continental breakfast with wide variety from the buffet along with side dishes you can order from your waitress. The bar is a fun and trendy environment and the bartenders are hilarious. What a great hotel!

Royal is the most pleasant place in Luxembourg City.

I stayed at Le Royal on business for approximately 8 weeks March - June 2018 and could not have been more pleased with my experience. I stayed at all the other high end hotels in Luxembourg prior to Le Royal, and Le Royal is far superior in terms of the quality of the rooms/facilities and amazing customer service - I wish I would have only stayed at Le Royal from the beginning! I thank Le Royal staff very much for making my time so far away from home so special.

What an experience I had with you I few weeks ago. From the gin and tonics in the bar to the food in the restaurant the whole experience was fantastic. Our waiter was a very happy and well mannered Irish man called Simon think he has been married since I was there. I am hoping he is still there as me and my friend are just talking about going again.

Pool / sauna could be visually improved

If this hotel ask their guest to pay almost 200 euro a night. They should give you a room with a good boxspring. This one is worn out. My partner had two hernia operartions last year. So a good bed was important. We arrived around 16.00 at the Hotel. Dropped our bags in our room. And went out to see the city. I even went to the lobby and they told me that that had more complaints from guests. "So all rooms with one matras will be replace for kingside beds within weeks". And there were no more rooms or beds availble. They gave me a box of chocolats when we checked out. Nice a heated toiletseat, but I booked a room to sleep and not one when we come back to the room 00.30 to find out that the matras was so worn out that we rolled to each other! My partner fell asleep after an hour. She had to lay from corner to corner. I sat in the chair till the morning. First time Luxemburg City and last time Le Royal!

Never again will we come back.

It offers good value for money in a very expensive area.

I regularly go to the Piano Bar and I am always greeted with respect and sympathy! A big thank you to this great team. I highly recommend this establishment.

On a Sunday, when all of Luxembourg is closed for business we decided to go to the spa of the Hotel Le Royal and signed up for the hammam and sauna. They do have a pool, however that requires a bathing suit. While the facilities are small, the plus side is that there are not too many people. When we went, we were the only ones using it. And we could relax on the lounge chairs by the pool. A hidden gem.

Nice cosy place with cigar room and good collection of cocktails

Stopped by to their lobby/cafe today for a business meeting with a colleague and I had to bring the large dog I was dogsitting for my parents. It wasn't a problem at all and all staff was super nice and friendly - they even brought water for the doggy in a fancy silver bowl. 5 stars!

A nice hotel in Luxembourg. The restaurant with the terrace is also good. The operation is slow.

"Austin power" looking hotel with very modern facilities. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Close to city centre.

Staff were super friendly and professional. I loved the swimming pool and the sauna and steam room. The room was pretty spacious. Housekeeping even folded my clothes. The breakfast buffet that came with it was incredible. Room service was also very fast. They came within 2 minutes (I ordered water).

Young and missing janitors may be from the experience and psychology of their predecessor (He was an "enlightened master janitor"), I hope his successors will follow his path.
I strongly believe that the restaurants are still as competent as before and that what they serve is still so delicious.
Breakfast is mandatory at least once in your life and the royal suite to offer to your wife for Valentine's Day even if you live 50 meters away

Well known for his brunch and his cuisine.
Do not hesitate to have a drink at the Bar for me the most beautiful bar ever seen.

Great hotel! Especially the toilet was a new experience

What more is there to say about a 5 star business hotel except that it works, it s clean, the staff is great (but has no memory), the breakfast is better than good and the food is high quality. The rooms are a little tired but the welcome is good. For once, I would recommend the normal rooms as they are newer than the Club rooms (Royal Club at this hotel). All that said, the rates are very good for this level of hotel. I shall keep returning.

They improved the interior but what about the exterior. The lady needs a face lift.

Bed is hard as a plank. The room is nice and utilitarian. No tea or coffee pot in room but will provide upon request.

Public areas are nice and clean. The bar seems overpriced. 10 euros for a pint of beer; 14 for a whiskey. Wine by the bottle is okay. Cant get food in the bar. Restaurant was okay.

Conference center is nice. Service is good and the food better than typical.

Nice small cigar lounge aquarium style next to the piano bar. Get the whisky card. They got some real good selection.

(for one night at 180 !!!) no negotiation possible I find that scandalous

A hotel truly deserving of its five star rating and reputation for excellence. We enjoyed our stay as well as entertaining guests at this magnificent and impressive property.

Loved my stay in Luxembourg! I really like this hotel. Very clean spacious rooms and bathrooms. More like the US size but still feeling modern European. Good and fast room service. Never waited more than 30mins. Breakfast is excellent! Lots of choice all made with quality ingredients. The pool area is great but didn t use it as planned with the kids. I still thought the water was a little cold for the kids for winter. Gym was tiny but workable for a couple of days. You just need to find the right time if not it s to crowded. Lobby bar is fantastic. Great ambiance and friendly bartenders. High recommend this hotel for your stay in Luxembourg.

Only spent an evening at an event on the bottom floor. Seemed clean and fancy. Can't comment on the rooms though.

The establishment is perfect. The premises are impeccable: the rooms, the restaurant, the bar and the relaxation area. The entire staff, without exception, is very pleasant and professional. The cuisine is refined. This is the 2nd time I have stayed there. I recommend without hesitation

That's why I go back there regularly to smoke my cigar on the shaded terrace with a custom Martinez.

This is a truly fantastic hotel, especially for the price! We LOVED the room, which was modern, spacious, and clean with comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. Shower was an overhead model with great pressure.

The spa is small but has everything. Pool is small but very clean and chic and is open until 9pm. Concierge and front desk were very friendly and helpful (especially Katie from Ireland, very nice person.) 20 euros to park in their garage overnight, which is cheaper than any 5 star hotel Ive stayed at in the US or Japan. Great little bar if you need a nightcap. Perfect location to get out and explore the city center. I will definitely be staying here again the next time we come back through Lux.

The end of a long tour found us in the clean modern and well appointed hotel. The staff is very courteous and professional. The beds and linens provided the much needed nights sleep. The bar and restaurant are recommended. Stay here and you ll be pleased

great hotel, ok restaurant, personal service to the customer

Excellent hotel and likely the best in the city. The EU diplomats all stay here when in town and you'll often see limos and extra security. Good dining options and top notch service.
