Reassuringly expensive, dissapointingly average.

A good Hotel with delusions of grandeur. The concierge parking was a nice touch though we felt a little "underdressed" in our Seat Leonards. They also insisted on taking our bags up to our room which I am not so keen on. The pool is small but fine. The sauna and steam room were very good. The room was quite average but did boast a loo with a heated seat and bidet facilities which made my wife chuckle. The service at the bar was very slow and we could not find anyone when we went to pay. The continental breakfast was the worst I've seen in some time. We payed a bit extra for something we thought would be special. In the end I get the feeling we could have found getter value elsewhere.

This fantastic experience starts as my cab pulled up outside the hotel. The doorman Carlos opened the door, took my case out the boot, and walked me into the hotel.

He asked my name and checked it against the list of expected guests. The receptionist Laura was warm, friendly and efficient and checked me in beautifully.

I was escorted up to my room by the doorman who asked if I needed help figuring things out in my room, and was gently spoken and helpful.

The scent in the air of the hotel and the room was lovely - not too strong, but a hint of something.

Housekeeping staff are professional, smart and do a fantastic job. The room was hygienically clean and pristine. The bedding was Snow White and crisp, exactly how I like my bedding to be.

Smart panel by the bedside cabinet with USB charging points - someone has thought of the life of a business traveller! Everything can be controlled by the panel and it s perfect.

A large spacious desk and area to do some work with ample space to have your paperwork.

The shower is a decent pressure and the toiletries are enough volume to have the shower twice.

Some hotels give you a tiny bottle of shower gel and I do wonder how some large people are able to wash their whole bodies with that little product.

Great space to hang and store clothes and shoes.

The only let down was the lady by the Spa area. I went in to explore so that I was aware of what the gym and pool looked like but the lady was unhelpful and not welcoming at all.

Breakfast was ok - could do with having fresh pressed juices instead of the fake orange stuff. Lovely outside area.

The staff in the restaurant are lovely and helpful.

The wifi is super fast which was a pleasure to work in my room with this connection.

All in all I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return.

Nice 5 star hotel ... well received by the staff ... very nice ... pity that the spa was closed until January 17th.

Five minutes late for breakfast you refused the room and offers you no solution the next day 30 minutes wait for fried eggs a service from a 1 star hotel no valet parking have you sent to the parking not indicated 5 shooting stars rdz

Great hotel, great service, real 5 stars. Everything was fine and well thought. Never fails.

Staff very professional and helpful. Rooms spacious and very comfortable. I appreciated their daily water replenishment service. The only thing I missed was kettle in the room for heating water, but a minor inconvenience. I'd definitely return if I am in Luxembourg again

I love this hotel the best of the best !!

We felt comfortable Room okay. The only bad luck was that a party was celebrated in the first night until the morning and we were not invited, but were allowed to enjoy the full "noise". Hence a star deduction. Although we were offered an upgrade the next day as an excuse - we didn't take it. The following night was very pleasant. And we received an apology letter from GL and a bottle of champagne . The dinner and the breakfast buffet very good, no complaints. The staff very friendly and courteous. We would love to come back.

Nice hotel. Good gastronomy. Friendly service. The only 5 star hotel with a pool in town. Nice rooms on the 6th floor. Recommendation.

Expensive and frequented mostly by businessmen ..... functional

Clean & accommodating with a nice bar on the ground floor. Within walking distance to some great shopping and sights. A short drive to the American Military cemetary with Gen. Patton.

Everything is comfortable and the stuff very kind but I could it sleep in the morning at all because of they work in the other room and it's too noisy!!!!!

Hotel very good but the attention in the restaurant very bad especially the meter in the room a total edge I do not recommend that you eat in the restaurant and see if the staff moved.

A very nice place to stay close to the city and everything Luxembourg has to offer. Very good service as expected and the rooms were nice.

Good location in the centre of Luxembourg. I didn't make use of all the facilities so this is a partial review but for a 2 person stay for 2 nights there are little things I would expect of a 5* hotel like providing 2 of each of the toiletries. A good hotel overall but not clear what you get over 4*.

Medium size, service friendly but at the front desk very noncommittal. Spa area unattractive. Double room not small but dark and not timely.

The best hotel I have been to in my life! Literally every staff member is super polite and providing outstanding customer service.



Traditional room is quite spacious and bathroom even has one U.S. 115V plug in case you need one for whatever reason. TV is nice and modern and got some smart TV features unlocked as well, although I wouldn't recommend spending your time in the city watching TV.

The pool is awesome and surrounding spa area is pretty nice. Highlight for me is a traditional sauna where you can actually throw water on the sauna stove as intended unlike all the wimpy saunas found in gyms and hotels in the U.S.

Location is very convenient and bus 16 brings you 2 minute walk away straight from the airport. The bus was free during my stay and I'm not sure why.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Right near the park and a few minutes walk from the center. Room was very clean and spacious. Definitely my go to place in Luxembourg City.

Choose this hotel as it has a gymn/fitness. Opening hours of the gymn don t fit working hours of business travelers. Staff wasn t receptive to any feedback. They seem to be in love with their process, but not with their clients

Nice hotel, free Wi-Fi and health suite and pool. Feels a little soulless as you walk round but the rooms are comfortable.

Stayed here for 3 weeks during Jan and Feb. Staff was good and helpful, especially at night. Tried to accommodate as much as possible. Close to the city center. Restaurants at the hotes-they're 2 both were good. one feedback- Room service food could be improved. Other than that, it was a pleasure staying here.

Nice well-known hotel on the square, nevertheless its renovation has somewhat erased its "quaint" charm which gave it a special soul.

A very comfortable hotel in a convenient location. Our room was spacious and had a nice bathroom (no bath though, sadly). The hotel was very quiet overnight. All the staff were friendly, including a very attentive concierge desk. The hotel is in easy walking distance of all of Luxembourg City's attractions. Was very happy with our stay here.

One of the best 5* hotels in Luxembourg in the center.

We had a truly excellent stay with Hotel Le Royal; their airport pickup was impeccable, the hotel ultra modern yet retaining charm, and the staff enormously helpful. I'd like to say a special thank you to the concierge team; both of them were incredibly helpful - especially with a complicated wine tasting request, and also an excellent dinner recommendation. Our only regret was not staying longer - thank you!

Location is excellent, near old town, business community and next to a very civil park.

Next to home, best place to stay, newly renovated areas, not so homey, in contrast to welcoming lobby! Some rooms, still good, but furniture shows age.

Staff are professional, the clientele is civil, layout has gone from classy to aukwrd modernized in lobby / bar!

Lots of work space to set up laptop and file, outlets heaven to charge electronic gear, bathroom is excellent, space in the room is formidable.

Universal light control, easy to use.

The bar, less welcome, but great smoke room, breakfast is, was superbly prepared and presented. No Expresso in the room!

Have been staying here, will return.

The catering and the breakfast are at the top thanks to the expertise of the chefs and the high quality of the products.
