I had the opportunity to make a family trip in July of this year and it is the second time that I have stayed in this Hotel so nice and the truth is that my family knew this beautiful city of Cartagena and they stayed at the Hotel the Americas that always he treated me very well I want to congratulate the owner and all his employees because they are very kind. A special greeting to Luz marina that makes the most delicious omelettes I've tasted. We hope to make a third visit and recommend this Hotel

Great hotel, great reception and the room facing the sea. We stayed on the 7 * floor and the view is without doubt a differential. Infinity pool on the 10th Floor and a super bar complete the promenade. Super recommend

The Hotel must have had its peak years ago. Today it is in decline. It is a beautiful hotel, but with many problems.
The rooms smell really bad, a very strong musty smell. I asked to change rooms, and the other one also had a very strong musty smell.
The restaurants are ok, the food is good, but the service is extremely time consuming. Very time-consuming indeed.
The food takes at least 40 minutes to be served, even a simple sandwich.
The staff are very friendly and polite, like any Colombian!

Best option in Cartagena, just 5 min from airport and 10 min from the city center. The rooms are beautiful and the view is amazing. The hotel have different pools, restaurants and bars. The beach is private and safe, really recommended!

Wonderful!!!! We felt we were in paradise. Staff is warm and always offering assistance. Our room was always immaculate clean, our bed was soft and always felt fresh. We will be back for sure!!!! We already miss Lorenzo the friendly bird!!!

This hotel has a very good view from the rooms, it is located in the mouthpiece of a very quiet area of Cartagena, it has a semi private beach because it is divided its use with other hotels and buildings in the area, it has wide spaces the people who work inside the hotel is very helpful, the food is good and the restaurants are comfortable and spacious, the beach is quite wide as about 12 meters to reach the sea, the stay is very pleasant.

My experience at the hotel, after a 5 day stay, was terrible. The customer service was the worst, they offered 3 single beds to my junior suite, for my children, at 2 pm and only until 9 pm, after multiple calls and trips to reception, they placed them. In the Columbus restaurant we ordered 5 dishes and they only brought 4, after more than 45 minutes of waiting, upon arriving at the room we found a large puddle of sewage in front of it, with a foul smell, which remained throughout the entire During our stay, the waiters were more concerned with removing the dishes from the table than with assisting you in your orders, they even removed the dishes without eating. In the multiple hotel stays in Cartagena I had noticed a slight improvement in hotels such as Conrad and Radisson in terms of providing the guest, Pilar of these businesses, a memorable experience, mine in the Americas was quite the opposite. Gentlemen, remember that you do not do us a favor by receiving us, we do you a favor by choosing them, the competition is tough and this type of customer experience speaks very badly about you.

This hotel sucks. Do not stay here. Broken fixtures, stains, broken doors. The 10th floor infinity pool has glass on the end, so should probably be called infinity-like. Overpriced. Bottled water is not included even though you probably can t drink tap water.

Cozy hotel with frank views and a service with security, the best thing is that they even included the taxi transport throughout my stay, the exquisite food and although it is always hot the AA system is sufficient for the comfort in the rooms.

By far one of the best hotels I ve ever stayed at, their service is 15 out of 10. The only downside is hat after 8pm there not much to do but other than that PARADISE

My fiancee and I went to buy coffee at the Juan Valdez inside the hotel today. We were rejected by security and not permitted to enter. We were told that "there were too many people in the hotel." Even though we had gone in and bought one the day prior and we told them that all we wanted to do was get a coffee and get out. We weren't staying at the hotel but regardless its not the kind of service you'd expect from a 5 star hotel.

I loved spending these four days here! The personnel is very friendly. The large, comfortable rooms with impeccable hygiene. I would add more information in the rooms about those spaces to use and I would solve the issue of disabled beach umbrellas. They would have to be repaired promptly. The service of the steak restaurant is wonderful.

The infinity pool on the 10 floor is so nice but unfortunately the windows are very dirty you can hardly see the ocean on the other side. The service is friendly and the music is great and chilly but mostly the volume is too high. I would expect more attention to details from a five star hotel and for the price they charge.
