Service was great and catered food for conference was very good - really enjoyed experience.

Beautiful location, additional cost for parking. Excellent bed and linens

The hotel able to delight guests while maintaining COVID 19 protocol in place and thats quite commendable.

Drinks were reasonably priced and the chicken wings were good.

The conference room was nice and the staff were friendly

Such a beautiful hotel. It is right across the street from the water so it's hard to have a bad view. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I love that the hotel is really close to downtown and its easy to walk to a bunch of places right nearby

Enjoyed the hotel room at the newer section of the hotel. It had a view of the water from the room.

People were very nice but the beds were a little hard and the pillows too soft.

We stayed three nights at the hotel and found it wonderful. The rooms were nicely designed and there was a great view. Housekeeping staff were cheerful and accommodated our timing needs.

The food in the main restaurant was excellent. Besides a great buffet with smoked fish, we loved their Japanese Eggs Benedict -- both innovative and tasty. The dinner we had was superb, especially the salmon and the sablefish, both luscious and creatively prepared. The West Coast G&T made with a local gin and tonic were nice as a starting drink. The food and drink were excellent and a good price for the quality.

Beyond, it was the incredibly good service from staff of all kinds that made our stay special. We can start with the friendly greeting of the valet service to the very capable and genial front desk staff, who helped with quite a few things during our stay. The staff at the Pacific Lounge restaurant were superb -- some of the best people we have ever encountered. They didn't just respond. They truly anticipated our needs and came up with ideas to make our meals more pleasant.

And finally, we attended a wedding at the hotel. Both the staffing and the food met the same high standard we found in the dining room. Everything was wonderfully done. We will certainly be back on our next trip to Victoria.

The staff here are always so nice and friendly. Any time I visit Victoria on business I request this hotel!

We stayed in the Grande Suite, which was a separate bedroom and living room setup. It was nice and comfortable, but the TVs were in weird places.

The buffet breakfast was decidedly not worth the price. There weren't a ton of options and the quality was not great. The atmosphere was good, though.

This review doesn't sound great, but it was a nice hotel and I do think it's worth the price we paid for it. The location is great and the view is very nice. The whole city is walkable and the street is quiet.

We had a suite on the 5th floor with 2 balconies. It was BEAUTIFUL with a spectacular view of the inner harbor and the capitol building (a balcony facing each one). The view was stunning both day and night. It was not that expensive either so a great value for the money. The furnishings were comfortable and luxurious with all the amenities you needed and pretty artwork, pictures of Victoria. The location of this hotel couldn't be a better base from which to see the sights of Victoria. The whole organization was extremely well managed and the employees were friendly and seemed happy which translates into a happy guest experience. I would highly recommend this hotel - we were just DELIGHTED from start to finish.

My family sees the teddy bear wear display every year for Christmas. They aren't as exciting as the tree display at the Bay center and the Empress or the ginger breads at Laura Point but they are tradition and they help sick kids get better.

Beautiful hotel with great facilities in a perfect location. You are right opposite the harbour with everything at your doorstep. The swimming pool (decent size lap pool, spa, kids pool, sauna) and gym are great and open til 10pm. Rooms were spacious and room service was good too if not a little bit pricey. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms, little out dated. Walking distance to the downtown core.

My wife & I stayed four nights in February 2018. Very friendly, professional hotel. It is obvious service is importand to them as everyone we had contact with was more than helpful and accomadating. I won't hesitate to recommend the Hotel Grand Pacific to all of my friends!

Room wasn't amazing but the rest of the hotel was really impressive and the view was incredible from the 8th floor at least

This was a wonderful choice. The room was
spotless and luxurious. The balcony overlooked the harbour where seaplanes and pickle boats were always on the go.
The pool is huge and the hot tub was super after a day of museums and castles.

View, amazing. Location, perfect. I swore we asked for a king size bed, but because this room has such a great view, I wasn't willing to part with it, in case the other room wasn't as amazing. Worth it.

Suite 1050. 3 balconies overlooking beautiful Victoria City and the working harbor. Small talk getting coffee this morning I told a nice couple there would be claw marks from my room when it is time to leave.
5 star in every regard.
Also close to Victoria Clipper dock and The COHO Ferry. Seaplane tours and water taxis very near.

This place has a great steam room, sauna, pool, hot tub and gym. Just what we were looking for on our short overnight stay and you don't have to be a guest to use these facilities! :-)

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room service was great. Our room was clean and large with a balcony and great view.. Separate extra sink outside of washroom was a plus. Complimentary safe, robes, tea, bottled water and coffee.

This hotel is a great bargain in a great location with great service. They gave us a free upgrade to corner suites and are terric with kids.

Clean hotel with large guest rooms, a pool, restaurant and lounge. Excellent location in the inner harbour and the rates are considerably lower then some of the better well known hotels in the area. Would stay there again. Appreciated the large patios on each of the rooms. Even if you don't get an inner harbour view, the view out the back is still very nice looking towards the mountains.

Old items. Dirty. Fridge did not work. Fan in bathroom didn't work. Dusty. Not a good time at all......

I stayed here for 3 weeks while working in Victoria. The location is fantastic and the service I received was consistently excellent. The room fixtures could use some updating but the beds are comfortable, the amenities are great and I appreciated having such a nice place to return to after a long work day.

The two reasons I am giving them a 4 star instead of a 5 is because their toilets are not elongated bowls and their beds are super hard (even with a foam topper, which I request when I stay here with work). Other than that it's a beautiful hotel, excellent location where the distance to everything is so walkable. The staff is friendly and efficient and the rooms are fairly large and well furnished and their Wi-fi is pretty good . They have a small indoor pool and a hot tub.

Went there for the Chinese New Year afternoon tea. It was amazing. Very worth the money and the service was great. Highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic. We did the fondue option for dine around 2020 and they brilliantly adapted to my dietary requirements. Huge thank you to all the staff. From Francina who answered my plethora of emails to the chef who made special dips and I believe he made a special trip to buy tofu pre service to our server who was prompt and polite.
First started with cheese and veg.
Then the broth course, where they made a veg broth and swapped in tofu to make me a vegetarian option. Plus added more veg for the bread since I need wheat free.
The dark chocolate fondue was so rich and decadent.
Everything was fantastic. The food, the service, the location. Thank you!

Decent price in a great area of town, very comfortable beds, big pool and workout area, good customer service. Would stay here again if I came back to Victoria.

The Hotel Grand Pacific has the cheapest daily parking in downtown Victoria ($7). It is open to the public & there's always spots. Staff is friendly and courteous.

Since our last stay they have done a very nice job of refurbishing the rooms and their meeting areas.We enjoy staying here as it is very close to the ferry terminals and we come here several times a year. This is a great place to stay when in Victoria.

Great stay, once again. Whenever we want a night out we come here. We brought the kids this time and they loved it. We went to the pool a couple times as well and it was rather nice because of covid we reserved our time slot and it wasn't crowded at all. Also they have EV parking.

The room had a nice view of the city. It was an amazing location as just exiting the building from the front led to a street filled with venders, just 12 minute walks led to another street filled with restaurants with patios that had great viewing areas!

This was my 1st experience at the Grand Pacific. It looked cleaned however their carpet and decor was outdated.
Handicap accessibility and about 5 minutes walk to the ferry.
Staff seemed quite nice and I would say their hall would accommodate at least 120 people comfortably.
Their food was nice (we had a special catering Indian buffet by them).

Mostly ok, clean and well located. Value was marginal and with a lot of offerings in the area you might want to shop around.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner with a theatre performance .

Great Hotel, super staff, I have stayed a couple of times and I am looking forward to staying again. Have stayed at other hotels but by far this is the best hotel on the harbour. Close proximity to everything and everthing downtown within walking distance, clean rooms, and very helpful friendly staff. I wish I could give it 6 stars!!

Great location, can t beat that, parking is extra 18$, nice decor overall all and friendly front desk, clean and comfortable bedding. Nice pool.

Just spent 4 nights here. Very, very nice hotel. Would have given this hotel 5 stars with the exception of one thing. The beds are absolutely the HARDEST beds in the world. LITERALLY! Felt as though we were sleeping on concrete. They put foam mattress toppers on beds for us after we complained, but it made no difference at all. When we left, we both had horrible pain in our lower backs, shoulders, and hips. Our bodies felt battered. We did ask for a different room with softer beds but were told all the beds were the same. Honestly, I don t always expect hotel beds to feel as comfy as home, but for the price we paid they, should have been way more comfortable than they were.

This was the best hotel I've stayed in to date (and I stay in many hotels as a public speaker). I had an entire suite, with double doors into the bedroom, plus a powder room (in addition to the bathroom), and separate living room/work area. The hotel is also right on the water and beside the gorgeous parliament building so location is great.

Beautiful hotel room Harbour view with a balcony. You can walk to most attractions and downtown. They also have bikes available. Great restaurants within hotel and nearby. Highly recommended.

Booked our room in Victoria for the long weekend. When we arrived we attempted to check in. We were asked to sit down and wait for management. We were informed that they had over booked and we were asked to leave the hotel to find other accommodation. Turns out there were no other hotels available. Did not offer anything to make the situation better, basically just sent us on our way.

The location it's superb. Very close to the waterfront and downtown. The rooms where nicely spacious and will looked after. The service was second to none. Everyone I should with was more than helpful.
